Suge got leveled Saturday night at Shaq Nightclub in Hollywood. Apparently Suge and his goons rushed some dude who owed him money. The guy they rushed got up and landed a right hook to Suge’s domepiece, knocking him out for three minutes?!? Meka, weren’t you wondering why no one went after Suge? Ha, guess they do. I’ve been a fan of SOB ever since I got my hands on the re-release of 2000 Fold almost 10 years ago so I’m excited to see a new project from them coming. Reppin the San Fernando Valley, the team of 2 incredibly talented emcees (Ryu & Tak), a producer (Vin Skully) and DJ Cheapshot have been doing their thing for a long time. From their collaborations with the Demigodz crew (Apathy, Celph Titled, etc) to their shine on Mike Shinoda’s Fort Minor project. Their new album, Reseda Beach, will feature production from RZA, Mike Shinoda, Dilla Rick Rock and more. Fellow blogger, Sermon, asked if I could spread this compilation he and DJ 1Mic put together for the late Static Major. A lot of people know him just from the Lollipop joint with Lil Wayne. He’s done more in his career though. A part of R&B group Playa, etc …he just never hit the limelight big time. Cool idea, paying respect and all that. But ouch on the artwork.
