Ha, great story. I’m sitting at the HipHopDX booth and some dude rolls up and asks for Shake. I stand up and he tells me how he’s a fan of 2db. We dap and chop it up a few about the main bloggers and their dealings. He notifies me about this radio rip of a Big Boi / Andre / Raekwon joint that hit the net. I was psyched but I don’t like radio rips, so he half-jokingly says “i’m sure I’ll see that CDQ first on 2db”. And guess what folks, he’s right. Now onto the song … it’s 1994 again, how fuckin sweet!

  2. dopness like always…yeah I think I’ll finally say it, Outkast greatest duo/group all time IMO. esp since I was growin up the perfect time and age when they first started and grew up with them when they kept blown up…great times. and this is a great reminder, they still got the steez.

    heard this from NR last nite, on the radio rip but dloaded the CDQ for you guys today…

  5. i kind of like greg street on it. anyone rewinding a dope track gets props from me. i love when djs or radio heads are so excited that they take a track from the top. i do that in my home.
