Lil Wayne - Carter III (Snippets)
I meant to post this last night but got caught up in putting together everything for SoundSet 08. I got to sleep around 4:30 then woke up early in the AM and split. So I’m not getting around to posting til now. Dah well, here is some random bits and pieces to Weezy’s upcoming album. You can’t really get any real feel for it but it’s still something for the stans.

Did u enjoy the MN and Soundset Shake? I got sun burned like a mufucka but it was well worth it. Great event and hella people showed up. Ill give the event a 2 thumbs up! The DJ’s stole the show in my eyes.

I have to get this off my chest. I hate looking at the other blogs about these Carter 3 snippets. Just because all I see is people saying the album sucks and all the songs are terrible. It’s the most ignorant thing I’ve ever seen. How are you already going to assume the album sucks after hearing basically 15 seconds of a track? All these Weezy fans or haters need to stop. So ridiculous how ignorant these people are and you only can hear up to 15-20 seconds of the album.

Wayne is the fastest growing artist and the most creative since the coming of age. I have faith that this album will do well. I’m also looking to get an interview with Wayne… does anyone have a direct contact??

Shouts to Shake for the snippets, but honestly….does it really make me ignorant because I have an opinion about snippets? Would it make you ignorant for saying you dig them and think the album is going to be incredible? Or is it only ignorant because the response I might have is a “negative” one? Is every opinion that someone might have on these snippets ignorant simply because we’re talking about a project we haven’t heard? Personally, I can’t comment on the lyrical aspect of this record, the only thing I can really speak on is the production which I’m not really feeling.

true that they are just snippets but i am not that impressed. it is like i expected, a dropoff from the mixtape era of wayne with the drought 3 and such. i am the biggest wayne fan ever but truthfully he is not the rapper he once was and i dont mean that as a positive thing
