Some Blueprint 3 News…
Before I wrap it up tonight and catch up on some Sportscenter I wanted to hit ya’ll off with some interesting info Mick Boogie posted today regarding Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3.
- Kanye will indeed be producing most, if not all, of the album. Remember back in the day when an artist would do a whole album with one producer for cohesiveness? Think classic Snoop or Jeru with Primo… and fast forward it to 2008.
- Jay will be leaking the finished version of Jockin’ as soon as he adds a new 3rd verse to the song.
- Tracks to look for include the aforementioned Jockin’ Jay-Z and a new track entitled Victory that the rumor mill says is simply amazing.
Wow. A Hov album, entirely produced by Kanye could be ridiculous. And, I need that Full/CDQ of Jockin’ Jay-z/Dope Boy Fresh now! UPDATE: DJ Semtex is saying that the album WILL be entirely produced by ‘Ye and he also threw out a first week of December release date!
Semtex has some info too.
- New Hov from the Blueprint 3 which is dropping first week in December.
- Kanye West is producing the whole album.

o like Atmosphere does as a matter fact like a lot of artist still do now but its Jay so when he does it its like it hasnt been done ever since the 90s

Man if both Blueprint 3 and Detox drop in December, my year is complete. Forget Carter 3, forget LAX, its all about Dre and Jay. Jockin Jay-Z is straight FIYA!!!!! And a whole album produced by Yeezy?! Seeing what he did with Common, this could be on point.

Jay-Z’s gonna make an album full of braggadocio shit talking and all of you will criticize him for it even though that’s what you claim you want becuz when he attempte to make song “grown up” music on Kingdom Come nobody liked it. I’m not expecting anything epic, if he’s not making a concept album (like the last joint) what is he gonna talk about that hasnt already been said? I always looked at Jay like i look at Al Green. Al Green makes music from an era where loved reigned supreme. so when he drops an album… like he did last year… it will be dope.. and it will be about love.
sure Al Green can put out an gospel album… and i’m sure he has… but it’s not him- it’s not what he does. it doesn’t connect with anyone.
like Jay… Jay’s music is married to the streets, and when his music deviates from that mentaility.. no matter what his personal life is like… it doesn’t connect (aka Kingdom Come) no matter how DOPE the music is (again… Kingdom Come).
When i’m 45 years old, and vacationing in Vegas and i hear Young Jeezy is performing… it will be entertaining hearing “Go Getter” again, or whatever new song he came up with. haha.
it might sound weird now, but you have to remember how young Hip-Hop is- we haven’t seen Hip-Hop take a full circle yet. but we are getting close.
if Outkast dropped an album 15 years from now- i’m coppin- no matter what.

as for BP3… however it comes out i’m with it. i perfer Kanye doing the majority of the album… like Dre did the majority of KC and The Hitmen did the majority of AG. but if it’s entirely ‘Ye… it’s all good.
