Atmosphere on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Video)
Everyone that frequents 2dbz knows that I’m a huge Atmosphere fan. Sluggo is one of my favorite emcee (interchanges with Hov on occasion) of all time. With that said, here goes their recent performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Performing the chorus to You which then tranfsorms into Yesterday from their album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold. Also, whoodini69 was at the taping and managed to get some footage of them performing GodLovesUgly which I included after the jump. You should be getting performance footage from the Shake soon as I’ll be seeing them this weekend at the House of Blues. UPDATE: Added a few other songs they performed (Trying to Find a Balance, Sunshine & In Her Music Box)

And I have to say I was quite surprised with how good the vocal quality was during the You/Yesterday performance.. Usually vocals get massacred during live performances.

Sluggo even learned how to sing harmony for the “You” chorus, that man is dedicated! Haha. But for real, these dudes never stop touring. Love seeing Ant at the shows (and the bars after the shows).

the paint your city gold tour is the shit. by the way shake, a few months ago meka put up a podcast of atmosphere on kexp radio.. they do a few acoustic songs but the podcast is like 30 minutes. think you could cut em out?
