I figured I’d wait til a post came up that I knew more people would check out to talk about my night. My NMC fam, Lowkey, hit me up with an invitation to this Universal x Roc Nation event. “Some broad from Universal is singing and shit” is what he said actually. So I take him up on the offer and we get in no problems. Find out it’s open bar (no patron though, wack) and proceed to drink it up. We chop it up with the industry folk and whatnot, then guess who came through. ?uestlove? Yes… he did but that’s not my point. I’m talking Jay-Z. Showing love to his new artist Melanie Fiona (who can sing and looked strikingly similar to one Kim Kardashian). Overall, great night…
