B/A & Yung Nate – 2DopeBoyz Intro

blame it on Shake June 25, 2009

On July 8th, the dopehouse (along with SubCon Threads) will be dropping a brand new project with B/A & Yung Nate, entitled Deal with No Deal. An album that depicts the struggles of the unsigned artist. And from what I’ve heard so far, this is gonna blow people away. Up until the release date we will be dropping new joints, videos and more. It’s definitely an adventure I advise ya’ll join in on.

During an era of “ringtone” rap, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter, hipsters and auto-tuned records; it has become an even greater struggle to gain exposure and airtime with the hopes of signing to a major label. Talented unsigned artists deal with rejecction from recording companies every day. But B/A and Yung Nate are not immune to this despite their affiliations with major label Interscope artist(s). Deal with No Deal provides insight on B/A and Yung Nate via their music and real life lyricism. Also, since they undergo different struggles as unsigned artist and in life; it is likewise they do not adapt to one solid genre of music. Its through a combination of style and originality they provide their own unique sound as seen in the 2DopeBoyz Intro, Ride Out (On it), MegaStar, and Never Get Me (the latter three being released in the weeks to come).
