WTF there going to have Jermaine Dupri.........Jermaine Dupri, uncle Luke, j prince (dude who made rap a lot ) but not outkast ,scarface, k rino, ppl who were at the forefront of dis south shit mayne that's fuck shit

  • George Clooney

The shit was already gonna be wack as fuck. After the Geto Boys, UGK, 8Ball & MJG and....I don't know who else needs to be on this shit. The rest are artists that either emerged over the last ten years, and wouldn't necessarily warrant this type of tribute/adulation or just shit that never broke out of their own regions. I don't need to see any Cash Money artists up there either, save for maybe Juvenile. And the only No Limit artist that was ever any good was Young Bleed. Outkast seems like a no-brainer.

That shirt looks dope as fuck...

I think they already did Goodie Mobb, but if they havnt they should, but I think they did already.

Ludacris would be up there its too early for him too right now. I know there is someone else from the south that can be nominated. Juvenile is great one too he the reason why Cash Money was so successful. Dres from Black Sheep is originally from North Carolina so they could, but rep New York though even thought hey from the South.

OH YEA!!!! Trick Daddy would be a perfect nominee. I would love to see Trick Daddy get honored. He's as South as they come.

Hands Down with the exception of Scarface & The Geto Boys OUTKAST IS THE SOUTH PERIOD.

  • Beenthere

^lmao @ "trick daddy" & "juvienile" even being thought of. Gtfho the south has wayyyy more rappers back in the that y'all boys frm the left and the east coast give us credit for. old school Memphis & tx rap was a beast

  • DiggySimmons

oukast said they didnt wana participate but theyve been asked before many times.

  • OneSmartBlackBoy

I don't blame 'em for not wanting to do it though. Every VH1 Hip-Honors show that I've watched, while cool, definitely had this vibe of "Hey, these are the old niggas that done pretty much hung it up and ain't really jamming anymore, but they used to put it down and paved the way for current artists."

With that in mind, definitely doesn't make sense for Big Boi and 'Dre to participate. They still going hard in the paint!
