  • nice

  • DallasTx_Groveside

It will drop in Early April…….

  • That’s a mad random cosign from Tony Rock, but that’s legit…lol. I’m looking forward to this. This will be a great album.

I’m hoping he has another joint like “Losing My Balance”, because that cut was ill.

  • First he said beginning of summer, then August, now October 26th? Why does he sound like Joe Budden right now? This dude isn’t going to sell shit because his buzz is all but dead. His chance to sell the most he could would have been to drop the album anywhere from may-july. A few months ago people were talking about Cole on every site and in the streets, now he is rarely mentioned. People on here say who cares about album sales but they very much matter. That is the reason he is in this business to make money and music. Jay either doesn’t really give a shit about Cole’s career or he dropped the ball on this. Unless Cole is planning on putting out an incredible mixtape or jumping on a few songs that get radio play in the mean time his album won’t sell shit because people outside of the “hip hop heads” will have forgotten about him. He keeps saying he doesn’t want to oversaturate people with music but his last mixtape came out over a year ago and he is going to go at least another 4 months without putting out anything? He looks like a complete idiot right now and he has no business sense at all. When his album sells 50k the first week then maybe he will learn his lesson on how important it is to stay relevant and to keep putting out material.

Return the favourr, get Miguel on your album!

well, thought I would spend a day looking through this site without another pointless A. Hole interview, and guess what? I was fuckin’ wrong! does this nigga love to hear himself talk shit or what. who gives a fuck about what the camel thinks, you’re album will not see the day of light in 2010 anyways. LMAO @ out all people, the nigga that has A. Hole in their top 5 is Chris Rock’s mystery brother. A. Hole was expecting a name he recognized and all he got was a comedian’s brother. A. Hole, YOU WILL FAIL!

  • Boomerang Slang

^^^^ u act like J Cole isnt gonna do anything between now and october. Im sure hes gonna release another single from his album and it might even be bigger then Who Dat. its still to early to tell whats gonna happen

  • Boomerang Slang

my comment was @ Derek Jeter not NYC aka J Cole’s stalker

  • Cool

I love all of J Cole’s music, but I think the fact that he hasn’t really released anything in a while comes off as arrogance. He’s acting like the rap world is on their toes waiting for his music, but in actuality he hasn’t won over any new fans since the Warm Up. If he doesn’t release something real soon, I’m pretty sure he’ll get overlooked by Kanye, Cudi, T.I., etc. and lose his shot to expand his fan base and get the respect he deserves.

  • Yep

^^ he didnt have that many fans when the warm up came out and he sold out S.O.Bs with no single out

  • Manxter

i thought who dat sucked. his mixtapes were cool though

  • superballa123

It’s not arrogance. He just doesn’t want to over saturate his fans with music and force people to like him. If you actually listen to the interviews, he is the most humble rapper in the game. So I don’t see how he is expecting anybody to be on their toes waiting for his release. He’s sells out arenas without singles or albums out so why would J.Cole care about buzz. How do you think Cudi got there? He was once in J.Cole’s position.

2 out of the 3 rappers you mentioned are releasing in September so October is a fine month for him to drop a album. With or without Jay-Z’s support J.Cole is going to make a name for himself.

  • Matt.Beezy

you guys are too impatient. you havent noticed what happened to all these folks with mainstream buzz and rushed their album? nine times out of ten the shit is wack and then youre up here complaining about the quality of the album.

  • HR

    dam that girl was annoying

  • Tupac Shakur

    what @MATT.BEEZY said^^^^

  • Cool

True true that’s a good point, but I’m just saying that I don’t think J Cole was really ever in the position to over saturate the game. I think that if he released like a ep or something of potential album tracks around April or May then he would have more fans then just his internet fan base. And the fact that BET had him perform on the side stage and get cut off, and that he performed on the small stage during Summer Jam shows that he’s still not well known in the game. I’m not saying he’s arrogant but I’ve heard talk that people feels he’s arrogant because he hasn’t released anything in really almost a year.

  • DatGuy
