Who Wants Some Free Freddie Gibbs Tickets?

blame it on Meka July 28, 2010

Residents of Florida: one lucky visitor of the site will be the lucky recipient of a pair of tickets to see Gangsta Gibbs, Reks, QuESt and Numonics at Eazy Street Gallery in Miami on Friday, July 30th, as well as a signed copy of Freddie Gibbs’ STR8 Killa EP on Decon Records. Sounds good, right? What do you have to do to win? Simple: enter your full name and legit email in the c-section down below where applicable (not in the comment itself, unless you want some random spam bot flooding your inbox for the next 50-11 years), and write “entered” in the comment. I’ll pick a person out of the mix as the winner. It’s not that hard, right? Don’t ever say we never do anything for you. Florida residents/those who actually plan on being in Florida around the time of the event enter only. Good luck.

To celebrate his latest project, Freddie Gibbs brings the STR8 Killa No Filla to Miami for his first performance in South Florida at the Eazy Street Gallery on Friday, July 30th.

The Gary, Indiana MC, best known for his rapid fire delivery and gritty lyrical content, is one of the fastest rising stars in Hip Hop. After 2 critically acclaimed mixtapes in 2009, Freddie was honored as one of XXL’s Freshmen for 2010 and his latest music video (“The Ghetto”) is currently in rotation with MTV. In addition, he has been featured on the cover of LA Weekly and in the pages of The Source, Complex and The Fader. Recently, Gibbs has inked a deal with NYC-based label, Decon, to release STR8 Killa No Filla as well as an upcoming collaborative project with Hip Hop legend, Alchemist.

With extraordinary talent and relentless ambition, Freddie Gibbs is poised to establish his place in today’s Hip Hop scene.

Joining Freddie will be Showoff Records’, Reks, Miami’s QuESt and Ft. Lauderdale beatsmith Numonics whose set features some of the best of South Florida’s burgeoning local scene. Hosting duties will be handled by South Florida vet, Butta Verses, and manning the wheels of steel will be Poe Boy’s DJ Smokey Bear.

The event will take place at the Eazy Street Gallery (3501 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL) and 18+
