So does that mean Dre will finally drop his own album, seeing as how his label understudies will finally drop their dream collaboration after all these years? The bigger question, however, is this project’s “dopeness” factor. Meaning, will the two of them take the last dozen years or so and put that all into one mind-numbingly dope project, or will it be simply another rush job to sell records. Based on their respective track records, it should lean more toward the former. Either way, I can’t wait to hear the end results.

“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.” – Eminem

“I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady” – Royce

June 14th is the date. Bangladesh, DJ Khalil, Havoc and Mr. Porter are among the co-conspirators. Shady is the label.
