you're making me more of a cole fan right now. in my experience there's more people out there that lack confidence or courage than people who chalk full of it. A lot of people go through life not ever building up that courage. Others just have to grow to a point where there are comfortable with themselves and gain that confidence. you say you know cole and he didn't admit he rapped until college. but then he drops some mix tapess...

What I don't understand is why "the truth hurt" keeps coming back here if J. Cole is a bad artist. If he's this and that. I don't like Mac Miller, but you don't see me going on Mac posts 24/7 saying that. For you to go out of your way to just spread negativity...it shows what kind of person you are.

It's all about motivation. to me what cole has expressed through his music is that he genuinely wants to help other people grow and tries to inspire them through his music. yeah he wants to get his and make songs for the radio, but as his platform grows i believe he wants to stay true to inspiring people with real feelings and emotions. like joe budden does (slaughterhouse!). all aspects of life come with good and evil entwined, that's because God exists.

you need to fall back and critique your own motivation. its obvious to me you haven't had much experience with other cultures and people outside your demographic.
