Phonte – Charity Starts At Home (Artwork x Tracklist)

blame it on Shake August 3, 2011

Cover art and tracklisting for Phonte’s upcoming solo effort, dropping September 27th via +FE Music.

01. Dance in the Reign
02. The Good Fight
03. Everything Is Falling Down
04. Not Here Anymore
05. Eternally
06. Sendin My Love
07. Ball and Chain
08. To Be Yours
09. Gonna Be A Beautiful Night
10. We Go Off
11. The Life of Kings
12. Who Loves You More

Not that I mind in the slightest, but I must say it’s a bit shocking not to see any features. I expected to see Pooh, Darien, Muhsinah and the rest. Maybe +FE just decided to release the track titles for now. Either way, I’m ecstatic for this shit to drop.

  • RoshaneRonan

    I can’t wait for this.

  • Pops

This just skyrocketed to the top of my most wanted list this year.

  • marty mcfly

Phonte is too funny. This albums gonna be dope , I just hope its 95% rapping instead of singing.

  • Maga D

And suddenly everybody jumps the bandwagon for that new Tiggalo, new Tiggalo, new Tiggalo. lmfao.

  • You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.

Not that I dislike his singing, but I hope this album is rapping. He should leave singing to the Foreign Exchange albums.

I was kinda disapointed he wasn’t rapping on that track with Monch and Styles P. Those 3 together rapping would’ve been crazy.

  • marty mcfly

@Maga D , the Phonte bandwagon has been around since The Listening so most people who know his music have been on that wagon. Just sayin

  • olugbam

    sangin or rappin?

  • Maga D

Marty I feel you on that brother, but you can’t really say Te has a “wagon” he’s got more of a loyal following that a wagon if that makes any sense. Not because of hype either, just people that’ve been lovin the music. Actually, it does make sense. Damn, this post makes me think of when I bought the bootleg Listening, lmfao. I did buy the other albums though, haha.

  • Maga D

sangin or rappin? [2] I hope rappin, but a combo I can do. I love the FE, but I need a rappin Te for this album. Nice artwork, but the tracklist sounds like a FE album.

  • bong

I feel like its gonna be singing more than rapping based on the song titles alone

  • King Tyrone

@ bong, I thought the same thing as well, but he’s on that grown man rap, so you never know

  • I’ll cop either way but I have to cosign everyone else with the rapping > singing

  • GeeZuP

I actually like his singing and rapping the album is gonna be dope regardless but I would like his new album to be more like connected than LIAB or Authenticity we need that real rap shit from Tigallo I hope he’s dropping a single soon so the mystery can be revealed

  • King Tyrone

Connected doesn’t get its due, IMO.

  • @JGFulton

September is going to be a good month for my ears!

  • $$$

Phonte is just an all around good personality.

  • DJ Daz-One

  • king william

  • frillzy

Phonte is too awesome an C to be singing for most of this album. But looking at the song titles i fear that he may be crooni ghis way though a fair bit of this album.

Phonte is an ARTIST. Not just a rapper or a singer. He does both equally well IMO. His singing is alot better than alot of these cats out today….

  • insidescoop

He is rappin on this jawn. Jus so yall know… Prod. From 9th too

  • DHurl!

  • Musikfiend

Been waitin for this album FOREVER. CAN’T WAIT!!

  • justice

yeah, if i’m not mistaken, Te God had a line on the king Mez tape (I think it was king mez) that he was “taking off the fedora and putting on the fittted” for this album. But judging off the song tittles alone, that might not be the case. But i’m prob just being too critical, either way, if he is singing or rapping or both, I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SHIT!
