To be honest, the only song I’ve heard from JMSN before this was Kno’s remix of Alone. Being a fan of that, I’ve been meaning to check for other material, but like usual… sidetracked by life shit. Luckily this video came across the inbox today and I clicked play. And sure enough… the song and video are both incredibly dope (and disturbing at the same time).
This song is about that something that’s inside of us all the time that we try to fill with these superficial things. Physical pleasure, monetary pleasure and whatever else we want and think we need. It never fills that space in us. But we continue to do it over and over again hoping the next time we’ll get a different result.
