New track from Sole that didn’t quite make the final cut on his upcoming album, A Ruthless Criticism Of Everything Existing, looking at a Fall release. The first solo LP from dude in seven years..
The inspiration for this track mainly comes from listening to Werner Herzog talk about nature as a kind of state of constant conflict. This track explores desertification in all its forms, techno-mimicry of biological life, and the passing of actual experience into that of mere representation. The music is made by Man Mantis, who produced 3 other tracks on the album. As much as I love this song I felt like I could have made it a couple years ago, so I decided not to put it on the album.
