  • Jesus Fucking Christ

I really dislike the musical direction that Kanye decided to take after Watch The Throne.I loved MBDTF and WTT was a bit disppointing, but still fairly enjoyable. This trap-type music is a huge downgrade from the MBDTF sound. I hate it when people act as if new always equals good.

All Kanye songs after WTT have been very underwhelming, but some people still praise him for creativity, even though the quality of the music has decreased dramatically. Dickriders are worse than haters. I don't feel the same way about Kanye anymore. He's a disappointment these days.

  • M0ns!er

I really enjoyed this video. I kinda like 2 Chainz for being funny and he is the only trap rapper i can listen too. But damn pls dont compare yourself to Snoop and DRE lol

  • J

Now that's a music video.. LAWD!

  • http://bringingdowntheband.com gevity

video was interesting. the song is weak, yet up to par with the rest of the nonsense he puts out.

  • And 1

2 Chainz is my favorite rapper out now. Thanks for making hip-hop fun again, and more importantly, it doesn't take itself too serious.

  • trendsetta

lol Tity Boi dance always cracks me up. Dude funny as fuck. 2 Chainz that nigga and Yeezy was coo too. Songs not to serious and the video actually was pretty dope considering it fitted the song title etcetera. This was waaay better than that Hype Williams trash Yeezy dropped TWICE these months (Wish You Would/Cold & Pride N Joy).

  • AJ5LANEY

A person from DONDA produced this? That whole movement might get big.

  • marty mcfly

DONDA and Good Music is the same movement so its not like its a new group or something. Anyway, like some have already implied, this is good for 2 Chainz but its makes Kanye look ridiculous. You dont go from MBDTF to trying your best to sound like you from the south on every record nowadays.

  • marty mcfly

all i want for my birthday is a big booty boy.

  • marty mcfly

    @Homotroll, Kill Yourself

  • JPM

I love how @JesusFuckingChrist acts like this is off of a Ye album lol 2 Chainz makes this type of music and thats why its his album, if he wanted Kanye on the song, he wanted Kanye on the song. And Maybe Ye wanted to have fun doing it lol You cant tell me Mercy isnt amazing.. Everything except Mercy that he's been on since WTT wasnt even his song so hes not gonna step in and take over the whole shit and do what he wants..

  • marty mcfly

@ JPM, the thing is we all know Kanye is way better then this. If Kanye's name is on the song then he is part of it. Kanye has been reaching for a while and my point is he dont have to reach because he's already Kanye West. Its no need to bite another style when his was just fine the way it was before trying to copy every successful mainstream trend created by someone from the south. Everybody who has every bought a Kanye solo album knows he's much better artistically then this.

  • prr

so... whats the name of the video hoes? specifically the latina or w/e she is, the girl in the pink dress and the light skin with the blonde hair

  • Mike Tomlin

GOOD Music is a VERY small part of DONDA.

This was like an R rated "Summertime" video from Will Smith. Shit is dope to me but I can understand why people arent feelin it.

  • Dosage

Everybody knows he WAS much better than this. Believe it or not, it IS a possibility that he's just fallen off. Ran out of ideas... got too comfortable... can't find anything else to prove... maybe he's just not as into music as he used to be, and is more mobilized toward fashion or reality TV by now. Whatever it is, it's struck much better artists than Kanye. Nobody's immortal.

And I'm definitely not convinced that he's "fallen off". I'm pointing out that this whole converstaion has been predicated on the idea that Kanye can still do what he did 4 years ago. I think that's a bit too much to take for granted.

PS- I'm sure he remembers which buttons to push and which progams to use; that's obviously not what I'm talking about, because that's not making music, it's making noises. I'm questioning whether Kanye still has the same mental capcity for writing music that he did in his prime.

  • marty mcfly

^^^ They both work for the same group which is Good Music. DONDA is obviously connected to Kanye West and so is Good Music. Its the same machine

  • asdfghjkl

This was dope af, and the video hoe in pink was sexy ,

  • Mike Tomlin

DONDA is the umbrealla Kanye started that includes GOOD Music but also spans across clothing, video, education, science, technology, health, writing, car design, and pretty much everything you can think of.

DONDA is so much more than music...

  • marty mcfly

Thats true but its still a music based operation which is delivered by a Kanye, a artist and if just adding on to whats already poppin is the function of that operation then I cant just act like its some innovative shit after this video.

  • eZ

Lmfao.... REally???????!! Ye Lost for co-signing this non-sense....niccas never fail me boi, gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahd damn.. where is Uncle Ruckus when you need him

  • Pauly D

You people are idiots, truly. Why does Kanye have to get on what YOU want him to get on? Why does he have to be innovative/serious all the damn time? Life is about the fun as well as the serious.

  • marty mcfly

This aint about being serious or having fun, its about being dope or not dope. YOU probably think this song is dope, I think its meh, considering Kanye's true ability. He set the bar for himself artistically and if he wants to make music below that bar then thats fine but dont be mad at me for saying what you already prolly were thinking about Kanye's recent musicality. Its like Jay Electronica actually taking that project with Lil B serious. We all know that it would be just about bullshitting for the sake of fuckery but that dont make it dope in comparison to his own artistry. Simple

  • marty mcfly

take all of the big booties out of the video, and add some big boners. not feeling this video at all. needs more guy on guy action.

  • marty mcfly

^^^ Homotroll, keep your fantasies to yourself and again KILL YOURSELF.

  • Jonesy Stark

Big bootie hoes!!! Hump wit it!!!

  • Pauly D

He'll make music again that's above par artistically, but his album isn't even out yet. Wait until his next ALBUM is out to judge and not before.

  • peteROC

anyone catch the Future cameo? 3:14

  • nyc

im a little confused here, i thought this was a 2chains song with kanye featured on it?? lol ya do know this isnt a kanye west song rite? so he cant have fun and do features with rappers who make fun records to party too? does he not have 4/5 albums you could listen to if you wanna hear him rappin bout serious shit? im done..ya niggas is nerds lol

  • marty mcfly

Again its not about serious vs fun its about dope or not dope and again if Kanye is rapping on the song that means he is part of the song so it does not have to be his song. @Pauly's dumbass, we not talking about the next album from Kanye that nobody heard, were talking about THIS song. Smfh and again, its great for 2Chainz, not so great for Kanye and he's made enough wack features this year.

  • nyc

^^dope or nope, doesnt matter if its horrible, its not his song, and he had a decent verse

  • marty mcfly

As you can clearly see, he is rapping in the video. So anybody can make a comment about what KANYE did on it. Kanye is beyond just a dope verse now, thats simple childsplay for him at this point. New God Flow >>> most of the other songs this year he was featured on, making those HIS songs as well.

  • nyc

ya put kanye on this pedestal to the point if hes even affiliated with somethin dats wack, its an an l for him lol
if its 2chains concept and beat thats wack....and kanye spits a verse on it its a bad look? if your not a 2chains fan(which most people on this site arent) you should be fast forwarding to kanyes verse anyway

  • nyc

well new god flow was a serious song, this song is CLEARLY not...and i agree, he had a better verse on that song.....would of been weird rappin bout killings in chicago on a song about big booty hoes i would think lol....and that wasnt HIS sing as far as i remember...when you posted it, it said "pusha t and kanye west"
that doesnt give me any idea who chose the direction of the song...but i guess you got some insight on that

  • marty mcfly

Do you see and hear Kanye on this song? Then you cant just give him a complete pass like he has nothing to do with the song fool. If Nas goes and does a song with Riff Raff, even if his verse is decent that dont mean its dope for NAS. Get it?

  • nyc

    *song

  • marty mcfly

And again making it a conversation about serious vs fun is not what this is about.

  • nyc

first of all i dont give PASSES to rappers, rappers dont need my PASS lol they can do what they want....i didnt say he has nothing to do with the song....unless they both came up with this idea and did the song together...this song isnt gonna be apart of his music catalog....jus versus....and his verse on this sounds not too different from most of his versus

  • nyc

its not what this is aout to you obviously cuz your being ignorant, making it a bigger deal then this is, this wasnt a great verse , bt wasnt bad...kanye never had great versus all the time...he was never that nice....and nas doing a song with riff raff WILL BE A BAD LOOK....but CAN BE A GOOD VERSE...and would only add to nas' catalog of GOOD VERSUS

  • nyc

and wouldnt take away from nas' legendary catalog of songs BECAUSE IT WOULDNT BE HIS SONG LOL.....if riff raff got a big check for nas then i say go for it....your not paying his child support are you??

  • marty mcfly

What the fuck are you talking about? Is that not Kanye on this song? Now who am I talking about on this song? Just be quiet and YES verses do count as part of an artists catalog. Plus you yourself are saying it wasn't a great verse so how you mad at me. STFU, Out

  • nyc

im not giving kanye a pass...his part was ok..doesnt add or take away from his catalog..point blank..period...get that nigga?

  • marty mcfly

Its a reason why the best MCs in the game are picky about the features they choose to do. Think about it and part of this debate was within the context of DONDA using this look as a way to elevate the status of Kanye as well as 2 Chainz. #Kanye can do better, OK now im out. I HAVE SPOKEN

  • nyc

first of all..your probably not "out" this is your blog so your lying lol...second of all yes i said this wasnt a great verse..i also said kanye isnt known for great versus so i wouldnt expect him to go lupe fiasco on niggas...yes versus cound on an artist catalogs....meaning his catalog of VERSES dummy lol and this verse sounds like most of his versus so how does it effect his catalog?

  • nyc

well i never considered kanye west one of the best mc's...more like an average mc with great beats and alot of charisma....and i did think about that an came to the conclusion the BEST MC'S might be afraid people like you are gonna be on there dick for colloratin wit wack niggas...BUT niggas like kanye dont give a fuck..cus he knows what i know which is colloboratin wit wack niggas wont change what hes done....and hes still fuckin bitches most niggas on this site jerk off too lol so...he probably thinks nothing of it

  • Vapid Shit

    Nope... seriously WACK...

  • marty mcfly

all i want for my birthday is a big booty tranny. i have spoken.

  • hahahahhaha

@nyc GTFOH this nigga wish this shit was his that nigga nothing more than a lame ass nigga who gets no pussy whatsoever.broke nigga that still lives with his mother & spend eeryday of his pathetic ass life online.

  • MOZART5000

Holy shit that is on of the wackest videos I've ever seen. Can circa 2007 Hype Williams plz make a comeback.

  • Slimwood

Yall niggas wasnt saying shit when Kanye West got on that Katy Perry track smh..... This isnt even kanye's song and yall niggas trippin.... I bet yall would want to hear this if yall was at the Strip Club.... This video is good.. @Martymcfly u takin it too serious guy, its a 2chainz song and kanye liked it and got on it. Its not a bad look for him.

  • http://overwhelmingclass.tumblr.com Mr. Hanky

this video was shit. Pure corn infested, chili breeding, stanky smelling, shit.

  • marty mcfly

@nyc, yeah you never considered Kanye as one of the best MCs and its because of features like this that he keeps doing that actually do more damage his artistry on a lyrical level. Just when people might consider Kanye as a lyricist he does some dumb shit like this and ends up looking like a wack rapper that has to bite others sound for attention. That is my point, if he is obviously way better then this then maybe lowering the bar musically isnt the best move for HIM.

  • Rich

@marty mcfly buuuuuuut Andre 3000 has done verses for DJ Unk, Rich Boy, and Kesha and that hasn't taken away from his his artistry in anyway shape or form, so hold Kanye to the same standard...It's niggas like you that are never pleased with something an artist does unless it fits into your box you have for said artist. Kanye & 2 Chainz are homies...if Ye wanna do a song like this for his homie, then let him...You think he wrote this verse and said to himself "Yea ima get real lyrical on this shit", c'mon son...YOU think its hurting his artistry b/c you hold him to these ridiculous standards...Did you ever stop to think for a sec maybe he just wanted to do a fun record w/ his nigga smh...

  • jam

Haha i liked the snoop & dre comparison..not that they are them but kanye still got it this video dope how a rap vid shud be!

  • nyc

how this nigga marty gone tell me why i never considered kanye west one of the best mc's lol shit like that is why your arguement will never hold any weight...thats IGNORANCE....i dont consider kanye one of the best because lyrically he was NEVER that great...average word play, ok story teller, ok flow, GREAT BEATS lol...features dont do anything to ruin a musical legacy..this nigga jay-z just freestyled a sloppy verse on a rick ross song...how bad do you think thats gonna hurt his legacy? lol
nada cuz they remember this is the same guy who has multiple classics and 16 bars is 16 bars you nerd lol

  • nyc

an im glad i brought that 3 kings song, cuz i remember scrollin through a couple comments when that song dropped and saw you sayin the SAME SHIT IM SAYIN lol remember?? "jay z dont gotta prove nothin to you, hes already a legend" type shit?? .....he dont gotta impress niggas every verse??..yea you remember lol same goes for kanye

  • marty mcfly

@Rich, only thing is that Kanye has put out 5 solo albums thus far and Andre 3k only put out 1 album in the last decade and it was R&B pop music and Kanye still is considered under Andre on a artistry level. Dont get me wrong, Kanye can do what ever he wants but imo I dont see how this is helping him get to the next level that we all know he wants to be on so bad. Especially after the level that WTT put him on, you'd think everything he touched from here on out would be incredible. Well with this new down south trap music Kanye, I dont see that happening anytime soon.

  • marty mcfly

@nyc, only thing is Kanye is not Jayz so comparing the two like their even comparable album for album is not the same. YOU dont think Kanye is one of the best MCs but many people do especially since Kanye has a very long list of lyrical material. BUT, Jayz has been in the game more the double the amount of time as Kanye and has released triple the material as Kanye and has released more lyrical music then Kanye so that comparison just dont work. If you believe Kanye can do better then this song and this feature then that is all my opinion is about. Its simple as that, Kanye can do better and you all know it. I dont know why you have an argument based on an opinion thats as simple as that and a opinion that you yourself agree with. Kanye can do better then this, end of story.

  • brandon

Kanye is a hunna times the artist Jay-Z could ever dream of. Yeah you lyrical so the fuck what. Niggas can spit all day but if your music not matching your lyrics it dont really mean shit. Just cause a nigga can rap dont mean he makes good music. lol you niggas silly man. Jay-Z can rap all day but musically he not fucking with Kanye & thats that.

  • nyc

@this marty nigga.....the comparison does work between jay and ye cuz there both legends..period...doesnt matter how many albums...if that was the case biggie wouldnt be mentioned with jay...cuz he died with 2 albums out....how can you be considered one of the best with 2 albums? QUALITY

  • nyc

an idk what this nigga marty on...but what next level is kanye tryna get on???...HES ARGUEBALY THIS GENERATIONS GOD NIGGA lol hes probably more relevant to the kids then jay is..so whats the next level?? if he stops now his catalog would be more consistant then jays....hes had one miss(808's) rest have all been recieved well...jay has been off an on all his career

  • nyc

im not arguing about how good his verse was...i made it clear i agree....what i dont agree with is your theory about how these versus he does now a days will affect his career....THIS IS WHY NIGGAS DONT FUCK WIT HIP HOP FANS YOU NIGGAS IS FICKLE AS FUCK LOL
jordan had arguably the best career....came back and was AVERAGE AT BEST.....guess what??? HIS LEGACY IS THE SAME..widely known as THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME....you make the connection nigga lol

  • marty mcfly

@brandon, Go check Jayz albums then just listen to the instrumentals. Jay didnt make those beats but thats music homie and he picks dope beats and the puts them in a cohesive order thats better then most people that make beats for themselves. R.D. In My LifeTime, Life and Times vol 3, BP1,2 and 3, The Black Album, and American Gangster were all good albums even if they were just instrumental versions. So actually he does have good music. @nyc, first of all you already agreed that Kanye can do better but yet you are against that same opinion still, 2nd you call Kanye a legend but yet you dont quiet fully understand why some people think he's one of the best lyrically or why some have the opinion that maybe this song doesn't fit the title of legend or legendary. Basically your just saying anything because there is no debate or argument to what your saying vs what im saying so just stop. And when two people are comparable, that means they have to be equal across the board in totality. So if one falls short of the other even if its just in stats in multiple areas that an obvious distance between the two, then really they are NOT comparable.

  • marty mcfly

Now your calling him, this generations GOD but yet you have a problem with my opinion that he can do better then this song. An opinion that you also have seconded. Smh, I did not make all the claims that YOU did about his legacy and THIS particular verse ruining his whole history that has alreday taken place. Thats just you taking a simple opinion out of context and to a whole nother level that I have not takin it to cause your an idiot.

  • wolf haley

@nyc 808 a miss? What the fuck you sniffin. I know peole who dont even like Kanye West that like that album. Kanye is a GOD & hasnt let me down yet. 808's & Heartbreak could easily be his best album anyday of the week & twice on Sundays.

  • nyc

you must be blind....when did i say im against that same opinion??....ive been said this verse wasnt great...what i disagreed with from the beggining was how your saying versus like this hurt his career...and yes i can call kanye a legend and not think hes that great...because a legend is a legend not because one persons opinion but a large number of people.....did you really think that was a good point? lol your telling me i have no arguement but your putting words in my mouth...when did i say i didnt understand why people think kanye is great??? i actually stated why people think he is...its not rocket science..jus cuz i dont agree doesnt mean i dont understand why people think that

  • nyc

and thats ok...this song here doesnt have to fit the term legendary...cuz its not his song dick lol so once again....doesnt effect his legacy

  • brandon

I never said Jay didnt have good music "Blueprint 1" is one of my favorite albums ever but to say he makes better music than Ye is hilarious. Ye is in a league of his own musically & is more than just a "rapper"

  • nyc

@ wolf haley...thats not my opinion im givin you...im talkin bout the response from the critics...and that album got bashed lol....what im sayin is based on the critics if kanye would stop rappin....his catalog is more consistant then jayz....cuz jay had more albums that got bad views

  • marty mcfly

@nyc, this verse effecting his "LEGACY" is an argument that your having with yourself. I never made that claim or a part of my argument. My talking about he could do better is not the same as you saying this verse could potentially effect his past. YOU said that, not ME @brandon, because Jay doesnt make beats does not mean that he cant take credit for beats on his own album. COMEONSON. Was there another BP1 with those same beats with another rapper on them before Jayz album? NO so he gets credit for rhyming to those beats and picking good beats takes musical skills.

  • brandon

Thats why Cudi & Mos are so valuable to GOOD Music because they more than just rappers. Im saying just because you can rap doesnt necessarily mean you make good music. Its alot niggas that can rap they ass off but they music is straight garbage.

  • marty mcfly

Kanye still has to make at least 7 more platinum number 1 albums before we can even have a honest debate about consistency. And even at that point Jayz stats prove more consistent quality across the board. At the end of the day he's been rapping 16 years and has 16 platinum albums so if were really gonna debate consistency then Kanye has work to do. Im sure your talking about musicality over numbers but we could go there too because for every dope beat Kanye makes, Jay has some dope lyrics to match that. So dont just argue before you have clear and present evidence that everything you have to say can be back up.

  • marty mcfly

@brandon, when Cudi and Mos have done more then Jayz in terms of hard and cold facts then we can talk. OUT

  • marty mcfly

PLEASE MARRY ME JAY-Z. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU. THE THOUGHT OF YOUR PENIS MAKES ME SO WET.

  • nyc

^^consistancy in quality is what im talkin bout....record sales are irrelevant in that conversation....i dont have to back up anything because im not using my personal opinion to talk legacy...THATS FOOLISH....legacy is based on what you mean to the WORLD...not jus you marty lol so no matter what i think...kanye is a legend...hes responsible for alotta niggas today...drake, j.cole, big sean...all them niggas got a lil kanye in them....his influence on the game in about 9 years is jus as big if not bigger then jay z's...hows that for legacy?

  • brandon

Im more impressed with the amount of time it took Jay too put "The Blueprint" together, coming up with the lyrics in 2 days & taking only 2 weeks to finish than his beat selection.

  • nyc

    *no matter what you think

  • marty mcfly

@ Homotroll, what faggots like you dont understand is and hate, is that you dont even have to be a fan of Jayz to agree with what i've said. You could think Jayz is the wackest rapper out but the facts would still be the same as far as his stats and as far as the general opinion about him overall from the culture. Again Kill Yourself bitch. And for Kanye, whether you are a fan of his or not, my opinion still remains. #He can do better then THIS song (which is not his but has him on it).

  • marty mcfly

@nyc, again Kanye's legacy was never a part of my conversation. That has just been a debate and argument you have been having with yourself. I have not mentioned his legacy or his past (other then it being dope) in my opinion in the same context as you.

  • brandon

GOOD can drop Big Sean today & find another Big Sean tommorrow. Its a million & one niggas rap just like Big Sean,He brings nothing else to the table besides rapping.Same with Cyhi & 2 chainz.Rappers arent as valuable as they once were you gotta bring versatility to the table or niggas dont wanna hear that shit. Kanye is highly responible for changing the game to what it is today musically.

  • nyc

"its because of features like this that he keeps doing that actually do more damage his artistry on a lyrical level"....thats your words nigga lol.....damge his artistry? what does that mean??....does that not mean when hes done, versus like this will be looked at...and eventually will "effect his legacy"....thats what the fuck i been sayin...sorry you werent able to puut 2 and 2 together i should have explained that lol

  • brandon

Pac had that versatility in his shit as well. Jay show flashes here & there.

  • nyc

if shit like this does damage his artistry...that means when its all said an done, it will damage his legacy....AND THATS A FACT

  • marty mcfly

Artistry and Legacy do NOT have the same definition. Dumbass

  • nyc

lemme break that down once again....IN MUSIC....whatever effects your ARTISTRY effects your LEGACY...because your art is your legacy...get it?

  • nyc

NO.....but they go hand in hand in MUSIC ...dumb ass lol

  • marty mcfly

Artistry can mean what you did today musically. Legacy refers to the past and even if you attach that part of your argument to my opinion, thats still a debate you've had with yourself for 99% of the time cause i've obviously been talking about where Kanye is going NOW artistically. Your just an angry faggot that cant handle that outside of my opinion that you have already agreed with multiple times, you have no other argument cause there is none left after my, HE could do better statement which also refers to now.

  • nyc

no other arguement? I DONT NEED ANOTHER ARGUEMENT LOL
i dont care about what you think about how good kanye is,the so called arguement ive been having with myself is all im concerned about....artistry means CAN mean what you do today...you said CAN FOR A REASON nigga cuz you know it also means your whole career also...legacy refers to what youv done in general an what you mean to the culture....and i find it funny when you say im havin an arguement with myslef when YOUR THE ONE HAVING AN ARGUEMNT WITH YOURSELF..but my arguement is related to what your saying...you clearly understand i agreed with you about kanyes verse but yet your still bringing it up? OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Guess what? your doing the same thing your telling me im doing lol

  • nyc

the most important point is...where hes going now artistically MEANS NOTHING cuz his name is already carved in stone boy....that means your arguement up until now is irrelevant lol who cares where hes going now? hes already gone..legends know kanye is a legend...your jus a angry faggot who wont admit LOL

  • III

Agree with @brandon Jay is a better rapper than Ye but Ye is the better artist/musician.Face it marty Kanye makes better music than Jay. Co Sign 100%

  • nyc

idk where you been.....but kanye is the jay z of this generation...period

  • marty mcfly

@nyc #I blame the school system

Artistry definition -Artistic ability: a sculptor of great artistry. 2. Artistic quality or craft: artistic quality of effect or workmanship

Legacy definition - 1. Law. a gift of property, especially personal property, as money, by will; a bequest 2. Something handed down from an ancestor or a predecessor or from the past: a legacy of religious freedom.

@III, thats cool buts its trust much more evidence that proves Jayz is the better artist because being an MC is not just rapping, it also takes musicality even if that just means picking beats. Several of Jayz albums have different beats styles and 95% of Jayz work represents a different sound and direction. Example: Dynasty BP1, 2,and 3, Kingdom Come and The Black Album are different but all musically done well. Even before Jay SIGNED Kanye he was already musically dope from Just Blaze to Premo to Bink to Timbaland.

  • marty mcfly

Jay as an MC comes from the same perspective alot of time but musically he's been pushing himself for a long time. Even before we all knew who Kanye was but thats another debate that I dint start so ill let ya'll end it.

  • nyc

@marty there you have 2 definitons of legacy...guess what? there are more lol just like most words in talkhe dictionary, it has many defintions, the one im mtalkin bout is "what you leave behind when your dead"...and in this case with an ARTIST were talkin bout body of work nigga...so thst was a fail...an i dont blame the school system..cuz its your job to look up definitions lol

  • marty mcfly

Again YOU brought in the word legacy and tried to attach it to my opinion because I used the word artistry but that little play on words doesnt change the point of my opinion and it dont make you sound like you have anything of value to say that negates my point at all. You've simply been arguing about your own interpretation of what clearly you misunderstood then agreed with and then twisted around in order to give yourself something else to talk about.

  • marty mcfly

Talk about (and debate) with yourself that is... Clearly I've stated multiple times where my opinion began and ended at. You Lose

  • nyc

oh no, no mistunderstanding here lol you interpret it as a misundertanding ...i understand very clear....i brought up the word legacy to prove my point that what kanye does now wont affect how he'll be remembered

The comparison came when i seen niggas comparing Kanye & Jay n saying Jay put out more lyrical shit than Ye so they cant be compared. Thats bullshit. Kanye = versatile artist/rapper/musician/producer Jay = rapper. They really cant be compared because they arent even in the same category musically. Ye is more than just a rapper. No disrespect to Jay cause like i said "Blueprint" in my top 10 favorite albums but Jay should be compared 2 niggas who mostly rap & thats that.

  • nyc

in order for me to "lose" you would have to prove my point wrong....you havent done so....i proved ALL of your points wrong..so you get the picture lol

  • nyc

what i clearly proved you wrong was that in "music"...what ever effects an artist "artistry" effects there "legacy"....you ran to google like a dickhead and got the definitions of the word used in 2 different contexts lol....but that doesnt change the fact i proved you wrong

  • nyc

so you'v actually been wrong this whole time...i never argued about how good his verse is...you argued with yaself about that...i stated i didnt care...but your initial statement from jump as dumb because in music artistry and legacy are directly associated...and i proved that..so you "lose"

  • brandon

Ye should be compared too people like 2 Pac,Andre 3k,Lauryn Hill etc..... People who did more than just rap.

    Dafuq did i just watch?

THERES ALOT OF SELF GLORIFIED NIGGAS HATING ON HERE. HOW ABOUT YOU BE ENTERTAINED YOU DUMB FUCKS. I HATED THE SONG AT FIRST, BUT THE VIDEO MADE ME LIKE IT BECAUSE IT WAS ENTERTAINING. ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF MUSIC?

  • http://Mattgmuzik.com Matt G

lmao @ this entire thread. I luv the internet sometimes! Hate this song and everything about 2chainz as an artist as well as the direction Ye took after My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Yes that includes the throne). Artists like 2Chainz and Chief Keef show the idiocy and monotony rap still refuses 2 move past 2 this day.

  • whateveriguess

If you try to take 2 chainz as a serious rapper, then you are a fucking idiot.

  • marty mcfly

@nyc, you did not prove all my points wrong because I only had 1 point which is Kanye can do better. So by agreeing with my point multiple times you did not, in no way prove my point wrong. Again the whole legacy argument is something you are debating with not me because I did not use that word to begin with. YOU did. The effects of "artistry" on "legacy" has nothing to do with the end result of my point, which is Kanye can do better. Anything outside of those 4 words (KANYE CAN DO BETTER), is NOT connected to the more then obvious point I made. @brandon, so you saying Jay has no versatility? And why is Jay not "IN SOME WAY" a producer? Just because he doesn't make beats? Who's rapping on his beats? Who rapped on the Anne sample with Hard Knock Life? Who was rapping on those Kanye and Just Blaze and Timbaland beats back in the day? Further more didnt he sign Kanye for the specific job of flipping samples? You mean to tell me he had nothing to do with the production even though he rapped on those beats that were made for him and then passed around to his whole Rocafella label? Stop it man, Jay is not just a rapper and if Kanye is the better artist then he has to show prove of that beyond just opinion and like I said he got at least 7 more albums to go before we can even have a legit debate about the possibility of them being comparable.

Wow. Even to this day, marty continues to spout ignorant nonsense.

  • marty mcfly

The only nonsense is when idiots such as yourself have to take my opinion outta context, and/or when you have to add your own side argument to something I said in order to distort a comment of mine that in no way is hard to understand. My comments are specific in terms of definition and are often not even something to debate about. Its bitches such as you that want to turn a simplified opinion into a combative debate because obviously you feel some kinda way cause your emotional. Then once it goes from opinions to straight up facts you just get more mad when my initial comment and opinion wasn't even hard to understand. Creating a side argument just to have something to talk about doesn't somehow make my initial opinion nonsense. Its makes people like you, look like idiots.

    this feed is retarded BUT

@nyc anything that an artist plays a major part in (production/writing/vocals) on a song, reflects them, it doesnt matter if its a feature or their song or what, its their fingerprint and its them being personified by sound, so this verse right here represents kanye and its a shitty and sad representation in comparison to his past work, and its not like this is the firt verse that hes dropped where he just isnt cutting it, im a staunch ye supporter but i barely liked MBDTF and everyhting afterwards has just been borderline whack, im talking wtt, this, and everything in between just hasnt been in true ye fashion and its shameful, shit is definitely killing his legacy man, its like some reverse lebron type shit
