Before he took the stage for Vibe's V-Mix concert last night at the Best Buy Theater in New York City, Pusha sat down with Mikey Fresh to talk about his latest diss verse to Tune & 'Sh*t:

Pusha T: “It’s new and was for Luda’s album,” Pusha tells VIBE. He also explained his motivation for the record. “Oh, because it’s a Swizz beat. You got to blame Swizz. See, when Wayne got a Swizz beat… with the “Ghoulish” track; he got busy, well, he tried to.”

Though we've only heard a brief snippet of the song, it's confirmed to be Ludacris song that'll live on his upcoming Ludaversal LP.

I like Pusha and all.... but this dissing lil wayne shit is getting really lame. It's the only time I hear about him :/

  • 2dope4nope

Publicity stunt! Smh come on Push that's the shit I don't like even I don't weezy like before but at least he was a g to respond then but now with you smh move on!

  • http://twitter.com/GtotheFO GtotheFO

This niggas begging for attention. Stop it P you're better than this

  • R_sanders17@yahoo.com

^^^ smh y'all don't understand real rap. He comin with the bars hard. If y'all want that bull than listen to big Sean. Godly bars is Wat I want.

  • Powblenmg

GOD DAMNNNNNNNNNNNN, thank you. OF COURSE HE NEEDED TO DISS WEEZY F GAYBE AGAIN. ''His head up his ass, I'mma have to head-butt him''??????????????????????????????????????????

  • Bitch move

This is nothing more than a cry for attention. He used to throw little sucker punches at YMCMB and then play dumb, but now he's openly dissing them 'cause he needs to create a buzz for that album that's coming up.

    I am very, very dissapointed.

  • Good Peoples

^^^^ I knew some bitch was gonna say that! smh its hip hop nigga! if it wasn't for dissing/battling there would be no hip hop! cry for attention????? you acting like wayne is hot right now!

  • Exhibit C

I thought a big part of hip hop is built around battling. The only dudes saying this is a cry for attention is the dudes who are giving him the attention. Don't make it more than it is, anyone's entitled to say they're nicer than anyone else if they back it up.

  • koke

Wayne has been garbage the past 4 years...

  • Charlie Murphy

I could see it being called a cry for attention if it was from left field and came from out of nowhere. Pusha T has always dissed Wayne and most of young money, so this is definitely not a cry for attention. He sees wackness and calls it out plain an simple. With or without an album he would be dissing them. Btw I can't wait for this album.

  • k-eazy

The only reason Pusha T is doing this is because theres no way hes going to lose to LIl Wayne. Let Wayne's career rest in peace along with his so called skateboarding.

  • haha

ludacris' new single the deserving recipient of the lowest dope to nope ratio I have ever seen on this site

  • marty mcfly

Lil Wayne won the battle and thats it, no matter what Pusha does for the simple fact that Wayne didnt try to get any attention for it. Wayne heard a diss (which Pusha denied), and in less then 24hrs he went right at Pushas throat. He didnt do any interviews, he didnt try to make any singles off it and he didnt throw any subliminals and he didnt campaign for months about it. He just got in the booth, and handled business that simple. Whether you thought Goulish was dope or not he still stepped up and Pusha been riding that energy for a while now. Wayne shouldn't even respond anymore because he has earned that right to ignore Pusha at this point. I like Pusha but I think he mite be over complicating things, just make good songs and thats it. New God Flow was dope but was on Cruel Summer, Pain was dope but was too hard for these current hip hop fans, Exodus was not as dope as he tries to make it sound. Just saying

  • Gengar

He explained why he dissed them the way he did????? Maybe all you idiots that are talking about a cry for attention should watch the video again. Push is a lyracist to the core Wayne hasn't been Wayne since 08. It is very clear that Waynes "image reboot" was the nail in the coffin his diss tracks (if that is what you want to call them) to Sean Carter and Push aren't really helping him either his efforts are whack and all Push is doing is responding to him since he was the one that popped the beef off by dissing Clipse in the first place

  • Armd

^^Wayne didn't go for Pusha's throat, he kinda just ended up rear-ending around homie's ankles

This isn't a publicity stunt, its just him doing what he's always done...he's just acknowledging it now, when before he used to throw stones and kinda let us sit back and politick over it.

  • Gengar

Marty Mcfly has posted the dumbest comment i've every seen on any blog hahahah

  • marty mcfly

You can say what you want about Wayne cause I've also clowned on Girl Pants numerous times on 2DBZ but after C5 Wayne will retire and he did what he did in hip hop and he became one of the greats. You wanna talk lyricism? Stop it cause Wayne has mastered that so many times in the last 15yrs its no need to even suggest that Wayne cant rap cause in comparison to Pusha its no way Pusha will ever catch up. If you gonna battle you dont need to do interviews every week about how great you are, just get in the studio and get busy.

  • Frylock

so i guess when jay-z called out nas it was a cry for attention. ya'll faggots aint real hip hop fans. hip hop was built off competition. oh pusha stop it your crying for attention, publicity stunt blah blah blah. ya'll some emotional faggots forreal.

  • adolfmayne

lil wayne was never dope ppl just jumped on the bandwagon and jumpd off once he got too big

  • TRUE

@marty mcfly you are a true faggot

  • marty mcfly

This aint Jayz and Nas though and that beef was brewing for years before Takeover and neither artist was in Pushas position. By the time BP1 came out people were saying Jay was top 3 of all time by then and he had sole more then ten million records by then and Jay only had one person to go at because he had passed everybody else (except Em and Pimp Juice but he was cool with them). Pusha is no where near that level so that comparison dont work.

  • marty mcfly

I mean im just telling the truth, if that makes you mad then take that up with Pusha on twitter or something. Even Pusha fans are looking at his moves in the last year as kinda reaching when he doesn't even need to cause that beef between him and Wayne aint even serious. Its Pusha that keeps bringing it back to life.

  • koke

Lol of course marty the dickrider has to bring up Jay-Z, Lmao

  • marty mcfly

I didnt bring up Jayz idiot.

  • m grizzly

    what happened to that boy?
    bbrrrrrrrr

  • DoubleClutch95

It's funny how Luda asked Push to change his verse & Pusha didn't! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Primo

Goin at Wayne aint lame. Wayne and Big Bird, YMCMB...whatever putting out music is lame! Pusha is a spitter in the realist form! Continue to crush these mofos Pusha!!!

  • @Gengar

"the dumbest comment i’ve every seen"
and the award for dumbest comment goes to....

  • 1hunnit

Lol @Marty, so the reason Wayne won this battle was because of the way he dissed Push, but not not on the content of his raps? Maybe if he spent some more time before he hit the booth he woulda come up with something better. Yea tried to come at Pusha's throat by saying "Fuck Pusha T" but that may have been the best line in the whole song. King Push's subliminals were a lot more effective, and cohesive than what Wayne came up with...Pusha definitely didn't loose.

  • marty mcfly

Yes he lost because he bitched out. He spent the last ten years rapping about how he's the hardest person on the planet but the minute Wayne wants to go, Pusha says Exodus wasn't about him and he didnt want to respond. He went on Funk Flex the same week Goulish came out (which Flex premiered first), and didnt fire back when he had the best platform to do so. He waits till his album is in promo mode and now he brings Wayne up again. Stop it just stop it. Pusha once said that if anybody ever dissed him he would come back right away with the meanest diss ever but then he spent almost ten minutes on Flex explaining how he didnt know why Wayne went at him. HE BITCHED OUT and if Wayne's diss was so wack then that should've made it real easy to come back. Again I like Pusha T and he's always talking about how he from the old school, well if thats the case he should know that back in the day if a artists said another artists name its on non stop until somebody career is damaged. Thats the era Wayne comes from whether people like it or not.

  • Live it

Wow Marty Mcfly props for keeping it 100. Shit is clear as daylight Pusha fucked himself over by backtracking.
