Co$$ – She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not (Artwork x Tracklist)

blame it on Shake February 13, 2013

Before Co$$ releases his “Black Hockey Players” single with Blu, Planet Asia and Ras Kass, the Leimert Park native is dropping off a love-themed project tomorrow. Before the music, take a look at the artwork above and the tracklisting after the jump.

Wow, I thought this cat fell off the face of the planet or something. I had high hopes for the two projects he was supposedly slated to drop LAST YEAR, but then he basically disappeared after the Instrument of Emotion album. Anyway, looking forward to new material.

Dope! Can’t wait to hear this. “Love Is” is one of his best tracks. He’s got some great lyrics on this type of material.

Here’s the link, since apparently 2dopeboyz isn’t in much of a hurry to post it even though they’re a co-sponsor of the release lol: paidthecoss . bandcamp . com / album / she-loves-me-she-loves-me-not

Whoa! Blu, Planet Asia & Ras Kass featured on a track with Coss? Sound the motherfucking alarm!

I’ve been patiently yet painstakingly awaiting some new material from, dude. “Show & Prove” proved a temporary remedy for the anticipation but it’s much like a crack habit; one hit and I couldn’t wait for the next.

I’m confident I’ve managed to obtain dude’s whole catalog and am still steadily following. Coss is one of the few emcees who keep me coming back to this “Hip Hop blog.”

^Peace to you, Psymun. You’re part of the slew of talented producers I’ve been introduced to through Coss’ music.

Tto, lol at your comment though I suppose there’s really nothing funny about it especially since I usually notice Coss himself, as well as several of the dope producers who’ve worked with him, show love and appreciation in the c-section whenever he releases material. Good looking with the link.

Now counting down the days to Reks’ “Revolutionary Cocktail.” Anyone know what’s up with the Numonics “Genesis” and J57 “Cashus Kingdom” collab projects? I’m assuming “Black Hockey Players” is a single for one of the two projects.

@Cali Grown. You’re right. Yhere’s really nothing funny about it…it’s more an embarrassment to this site that an album they supposedly are co-sponsoring is featured on several other hip hop pages but not on their own. smh would have been more appropriate than lol.

Anyway, I’m just glad to have some new material from Co$$. Easily one of my favorite MC’s, I still have Instrument of Emotion on regular rotation. That album was brilliant; showed a lot of depth and an impressive amount of growth even from Before I Awoke.

And I’ve still been wondering what ever happened to the Genesis and Insomnia projects. I was looking forward to those in 2012 but all I ever saw from those ideas were a couple leaked singles that never seemed to attach themselves to finished projects. I didn’t even know anything about a collab project with J57. Either way, hopefully this EP is a sign of more goodness to come in 2013.
