Earlier this week J. Cole released his Truly Yours EP. Now he's back and releases the official single "Power Trip" off his sophomore album Born Sinner which features Miguel.

I’ve always wanted to use my voice to shift culture, even if just a millimeter. This song is one of my strongest to date and I look forward to hearing fans reactions.

Radio Play. It's aight. Miss America (which would never be on the radio) is better. The end.

  • RG III

    Cole + Miguel = Win

well... dunnow... not bad, maybe it'll grow on me

  • http://thingswemustdo.tumblr.com Lyniv

I don't ppl sometimes. I would much rather hear this in the radio than some of this other garbage. What more do yall ppl want? Take it for what it is and enjoy it.

  • EM

This is different. A dope different. A grower for sure.

  • 2dope4nope

I really don't see how Miguel fit in I get the lotus flower bomb cut but this seemed he held his own but overall good single!

  • Mister Nicely

This is tough! You can tell this is a true story too, Born Sinner should be much better than Sideline Story. I'm excited

  • FanOfAFan

I have no clue how anybody can prefer "Miss America" over this song. I fuckin hate you hip hop purist faggot's opinions so much. Ps. This song is awesome

  • NYC/BROOKLYN©

this nigga has to be the king of the wackest hooks ever. this isn't no new next level shit, it's the same bullshit we already heard from this nigga. Cole has ran out of ideas and conversations with his music. how many fuckin' times do we have to hear how he got in the game with his hova stories and his housing situation. this nigaa jumping on his own singing hooks when he's featuring a singer on the track just boggles the mind. be prepared for another wack and boring release from the spider legs eyebrow nigga.

    J.COLE CONTINUES PAPOOSIN' YA NIGGAZ!©

  • marty mcfly

@malcyveli, Ok i'll give you this, the beat had a new little twist to it but the vibe of it is the same as that whole EP he just dropped and most his last album and mixtape. If this is progression to you then thats cool cause I hear it a little bit. Now im not gonna say this single aint that dope cause the moment I do then its oh im hating, so we'll just let the performance of this song in the mainstream for the next month or so do the talking for it. Those that like Miss America a little more though, I can totally get why. I mean another single about thirsting over a chick? Yeah J Cole never made a single like that before, and that doesn't happen much in hip hop right?...smh. If Drake would've came with a single like this : Got me up all night, all I'm singin' is love songs
She got me up all night, constant drinkin' and love songs
She got me up all night, down and out with these love songs
She got me up all night, drownin' out with these love songs
She got me up all night, all I'm singin' is love songs...

Ya'll would say the shit is wack as fuck but since its Cole we can pretend like its fire. Yeah OK

  • http://joshrichraps.com Josh Rich RapsOfficial

I like the ending, makes it sound DIY.
@NYC/BROOKLYN: It does sound similar but its good, his voice is not Miguel's but it makes a good mix. Never met a harder hater.

  • marty mcfly

Dear Roc Nation, get that nigga Jay Electronica outta meditation and in the studio immediately. PLEASE

  • JAY

If Drake dropped this single everyone would love it just like everyone loves every song Drake makes about loving a bitch, you're a moron.

  • marty mcfly

Drake's last single was Started From The Bottom and we can also let the performance of that song in the next month or so speak for itself as well in comparison to this one.

  • marty mcfly

Now its no need to go back in forth with my opinion cause I gave it already and its not gonna change so just leave yours and have a good day.

  • Mr. Hip-Hop

Good sh*t...this is a great song

  • Poor lil tink tink

mehhh... I'll stick with truly yours until the next single

  • 1hunnit

Miss America may have been better, but he knew it wasn't radio friendly. He said it himself at the end of the song. If you wanna have some success, you gotta have a radio friendly song, that's a fact.

The beat to the song is tough indeed, and the flow is nice. My only complaint is the hook. Overall solid song, better than Work Out.

  • Doney

Yall internet niggas r so fickle, just enjoy the music. But since this is mehh or underwhelming, what is yall favorite commercial song out rite now and how is this so underwhelming compared to those?

  • jza

Def his most radio friendly single to date. And it's dope. Happy for dude.

  • http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/got-what-u-need-digital-fear-factor-mixtape.74668.html L-Jizzo

Pure fire. Looking forward to Born Sinner.

  • marty mcfly

@Doney, a few commercial songs I thought were dope recently...

Square Off (trips and Slim) - NBA
    50 Cent - Major Distribution
The Game - Ali Bomaye, and All That Lady
Rockie Fresh - Life Long and Nobody
    Skyzoo - Give It Up
    Big Sean - Guap
Dom Kennedy - My Type Of Party
Ryan Leslie - Carnival In Venice
Fabolous - Life Is So Exciting
Drake - Started From The Bottom

  • cap

might actually buy this album as long as songs like cole world and work out arnt on it.
    definantly woulda bought fnl
by the way cole, puttin miguel on here is a good look. know u musta heard below the heavens. that shits real

  • marty mcfly

Consequence - They My Juniors remix ft Busta Rhymes

  • JReezy

I figured Started From The Bottom would be on marty's list. So did that simple, repetitive song structure bother you as much as J. Cole's hook on this song? They're both similar in their simplicity, Drake just did it for 2 mins and 52 seconds.

  • marty mcfly

No Drake's simple repetitive song structure did not bother me as much as the hook on this song from Cole.

  • 1hunnit

If you wanna compare Started from the Bottom and this...

    Beat: SFTB
    Flow: PT
Hook: Tie, they both kinda suck.

Yea they are both similar, its just J. Cole did it for longer and it seems like Drake's hook takes up more than half the song since its so short

  • marty mcfly

Thats it? No more fandemonium for the great hip hop savior that is J Cole? Where's the shit about how all his songs are classics and how he's the new "fill in the blank with a legend" in the game right now? Guess you people weren't feeling this shit that much either. Miss America - strike 1, this fukshit about all he does is sing love songs - strike 2, ok Cole we'll give you your 8th or 9th shot at making a dope single again. Good luck mr love songs. LOL

  • 1hunnit

^ Lol you seem pretty bias. I do believe the bar was set pretty high for Cole, but just because he hasn't met those lofty expectations doesn't mean he hasn't been a force in the game. Ease up homie

  • ProTraxs

Can always count on JCole to put out some freshness, his choice in production is prestine plus you caint hate ona Miguel feature...

  • marty mcfly

A force in the game? Ok well I wont even go there with you because we probably have different opinions on what a force in the game is. Now you yourself is saying Cole hasn't met those lofty expectations. Ok I agree there for sure and I get it, you people wanna keep faith in this guy like some how out the blue he's gonna step his game up. Ok well I'll keep waiting too but I have never in the history of hip hop ever seen a fan base be so patient with a artist in terms of putting out records. I'll give ya'll that, you people will except almost anything from this guy but if its somebody else doing these records you'll call them a sellout and damn near never stand behind them again.

  • Adi Pre

The new EP and this single are signs of good things to come, let's not kid ourselves Sideline Story was no Good Kid Maad City and this is definitely one for the radio's but definitely feeling it and looking forward to the new album.

  • 1hunnit

Lol @ Marty, I'm not one of "you people". I'm not a Cole Stan, but just a fan of good hip hop. J Cole has put out some quality hip hop songs for the most part(even quite recently with his demo EP). That is probably why people put faith in him, because everyone knows his capability and potential. Sure he has had some duds, and his last album was sub-par, but like I said, some of the criticism he receives is because of the lofty expectations he has.

  • Trill O’Reilly

@Adi: Sideline Story was no GKMC because GKMC was weak as fuck.

@marty mcfly: kinda how you accept anything from Jay-Z? There is a difference between being a fan and a dickrider, ya know.

  • 1hunnit

If people didn't have these "Savior of Hiphop, next legend" expectations for him I'm sure he would receive more praise.

  • Adi pre

@ Trill, you really must be a sweaty fuck faced cunt to say GKMC was a "weak" album...it was the album of 2012 by a fucking longshot, even Nas said it was his favourite album from last year. Please just GTFO this post.

  • JebusJuice

McFly clearly but hurt about something.

  • marty mcfly

@1hunnit, Ok I agree with that and like I said we can just wait for yet another single and see what he comes with but its like damn it's been more then just some duds homie. Its on some double digit shit in terms of expecting some dope shit and getting a dud. @Trill O Reilly, Why would you even wanna compare J Cole to Jayz when you know you'll lose. You wanna talk about not meeting expectations in terms a Jayz record and J Cole? Put it like this, J Cole had ten times the help and resources Jayz did when he was first putting out records. Jayz had no internet and no major label backing until he sold about 7 million records with his own brand, and he had barely any radio play until Can I get A and Hard Knock Life but yet all his records have done better then J Cole's. COMEONSON just stop with the excuses sometimes.

  • AndONeill

This is a jam!! Nice track, has radio and replay value, born sinner gonna prove (hopefully) that cole is one the greatest in the game, my personnel favourite over the last couple of years,

  • marty mcfly

Im not trying to compare Cole with Drake or Jayz or whoever and again we'll just wait for the next song and talk about it then but it's like ever since Who Dat we're always saying just wait till the next song and then when the next song comes we say the same shit again cause its just meh or ok.

  • seancoonery

@Marty ^^ You are such a drama queen going on about coles hit and miss single attempts. Like he hasn't made some good ones. Can't get enough, Nobody's Perfect (still gets play in the bay) were dope and Work out was commercially a success. I didn't like it, mind you.

Also you go on like no other artist goes through this. The majority do these days. It's just you seem to pay attention Cole for some reason even though you clearly don't really dig the music he releases.

You go on about this single BS like it's one of the biggest fails in hiphop. When in actual fact it's probably just a sub par track record he has. You have the likes of Fif dumping album after album because he can't catch a break no more. Surely that's more worthy of your hysterical responses.

    Get a grip man.

  • Doney

@Marty Mcfly, some of those songs u named were dope but I don't c how any of those that much better than Cole's song except for Ali Bomaye, but that don't count because this song has a diff feel and diff song content. And u seem like one of those dudes that just want to cuz turmoil within these posts because you know u can generate responses. I bet you if Jay-z (your so called most loved artist) was just starting out, you would be hating on his whole career just like you are doing Cole's

  • Kidadonis

It's Crazy, Cole releases a song and before the end of the day everyone thinks they're entitled to saying if the song is a hit or not. I seriously thought Started From the Bottom was weak when it released then the video made me like it so much more and it grew on me. This is already a decent song. I can see this nicely building his buzz and growing.

Some of you guys just look for anything to hate. Let him tell his story and if you don't like his music stop listening. Let him develop as an artist. Even when Jay-Z was growing, he knew he put out bad or lack-luster songs but you couldn't tell until days, weeks or months later. A song had to be released on the radio and you couldn't be as critical on the music because you would hear it once and had to wait until it came back on the radio to listen again. Enjoy and let it sit. Cole's gonna be alright just like Drake, Jay-Z and Kendrick. Timeless music grows on you, not overnight.

  • malcyvelli

@martymcfly dam nigga, how fucking vain are you? you automatically assume I'm referencing you? really though? no wonder you get shitted on this blog everytime you show your metaphorical face, although you would be included in the type of critic I'd be alluding to I'm not necessarily talking of or to you, but I really can't understand how you can't see very noticeable PROGRESSION in this song, subject matter is alright, it's not uncharted territory in general but it's new for him and its in depth, miguel was placed perfectly, cole had his role in the hook and i think he did just the right amount without it being too much, I don't see anything in this song that i can truly say i wish there was more of, if you aren't pleased with this song then you're just not a cole fan, this is some of him at his best and then some,so you either love it or leave it and that's all, i wanna know where the similarity or lack of differentiation this hook has from his other shit, someone show me cause im just not seeing/hearing it, i just hear the sound that is partial to cole which is his style, once again if you dont fuck with it then you just dont like his style or him as an artist, thats really all there is to it

  • marty mcfly

Why are you still trying to compare J Cole to Drake and Jayz in terms of singles? You sure you wanna compare Dead Presidents with Who Dat, and Aint No nigga with In The Morning, Cant Knock The Hustle and Feeling It to Work Out and Cant Get Enough? You wanna compare Coles - Daddy's Little Girl, Lost Ones, Nobody's Perfect, Sideline Story, Miss America and Power Trip to Drakes, Best I Ever Had, Successful, Over, Miss Me, Headlines, HYFR, Started From The Bottom etc...? I mean dont get me wrong, I see what perspective your coming from but the performance of these songs in hip hop have some big differences.

  • marty mcfly

@malcyvelli, hey thats your opinion and if this lives up to or surpasses your expectations then good for you.

  • marty mcfly

Or if you take Jay 2nd album because Sideline Story came after a series of mixtapes. Jayz had The City Is Mine, Imaginary Player, Where I'm From, You Must Love Me and yes he did have a dud with Sunshine but still ya'll need to use another comparison if we talking singles because Coles stuff just wasn't like these songs at all. Just saying and we dont have to go passed that Jayz album cause you already know he was outta here after Hard Knock Life came out. Use another MC to compare to Cole.

  • $$$

No clue how people write essays about where Cole is in the game. Hit the play button and split.

  • three

@marty mcfly dude stop commenting its annoying as fuck idk why you care so much to post so many damn times. we get it, you dont like the song. get over it. CHILL

Y'all remember when he said that? ^ lmao

  • FanOfAFan

    J. Cole isn't any type of savior of hip hop, and I don't think anybody needs to "save hip hop" because it never dies, there's always somebody putting out a hip hop song, whether that'd be Blu, Lil Wayne, Joey Badass, or Gucci Mane. It's all hip hop music, whether its over a Large Professor/J. Dilla/Madlib beat, or a Mike Will/Lex Luger/KeyWane beat. It's ALL HIPHOP. Just because its not lyrical, doesn't mean it isn't HIPHOP. I happen to believe in sub-genres within this genre. I never understand why y'all fiercely debate EVERYTHING on this site like your life depends on it? This song is dope in my opinion. I think someone up there ^ said it perfectly by saying Cole did enough on it without doing too much, and then Miguel comes in and puts the nail in the coffin. The production wasn't amazing, but they definitely made it more good than it actually is. I happen to have thought Miss America was the most boring shit in the world because Cole's style is so boring and his constant usage of simple similes annoy me.. Plus that beat was garbage. Don't be discrediting my HIPHOP opinion JUST CUZ I don't like the LYRICAL Cole joint because I'm with y'all (well, most of you) who feel like Sideline Story was underwhelming as shit and his mixtapes were so much better. I'm a fan of shit like Blu, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Wu tang, Rakim, Big L, big pun, and all the emcees that y'all consider (and I consider some of em too) as legends. So don't be automatically discrediting my HIPHOP opinion... Anyways, that's my take on shit. I also don't understand why people hate Drake so much. And I hate the fact that he gets shitted on when he sings and Andre 3K gets all the love in the world when he does. You guys are so insecure and like to ride the NEWEST UNDERGROUND SECRET EMCEE's dick all of the time. You guys only seem to value lyricism (which I understand) when it comes to HIPHOP, but there's other things that contribute to a good HIPHOP song as well.. Like production. Like delivery. Like the hook. Like melodies. All that shit contributes. Anyways, that's my full take on all the shit you guys start wars over. Don't bother trying to debate me because this is all JUST my opinion, and I won't change it for anyone.. Especially for niggas who will give a Danny Brown song a thousand likes despite his below average lyricism and ugly, obnoxious voice.. Thank you, peace.

  • marty mcfly

@FanOfAFan, yeah your right man, this is better then Miss America. Its like damn his lyrics are so clever. Its like musical art the way he's says - Got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs
She got me up all night, constant drinking and love songs
She got me up all night, down and out with these love songs
She got me up all night, drown it out with these love songs
She got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs
She got me up all night, constant drinking and love songs
She got me up all night, down and out with these love songs
She got me open all night, got me open all night

Like how many different ways can this dude make reference to love songs? Genius. You guys are right man this is that real shit right here. The song was so intricately designed just like @malcyveli said, now I see the light man. Its the love right? The different ways to sing love songs and then Miguel sings too. Ah man my bad, this shit is better then Exhibit C..... LOL

  • malcyvelli

@marty mcfuck the fact that youre distorting what other people say (myself in this case) is what makes your voice either worthless and/or invalid, please tell me where, when and how did i say it was intricate? i didnt, i did infer that i didnt see how this hook was the same as HIS OTHER HOOKS! if youre gonna mock a statement made by somebody, then get the shit right niglet

  • marty mcfly

Oh my bad, well then whatever bullshit you was saying about this then yeah whatever that was. Im agreeing with you now, this is that shit I mean such progression and yeah he knew just what to add and what not to in order to make the love song masterpiece that is Power Trip, I mean you yourself said the subject matter is aiight but hey its new for him right? Cole never made no song like this before right? You said you couldn't wish for anything more when you heard this shit, well good for you man. This that real shit, that real hip hop is back son and its all thanks to songs like these. Power Trip that shit is the new classic, I see the light fam the angels are singing and they want them love songs just like basically all this guys music. That love shit, thats that real shit right there. Cold World no strawberry milk and Krispy Kreme... Yeah nigga yeah!!!!

  • Cali Grown

^Na, ytt. I hope you mean that figuratively. Marty obviously has an ego the size of my cock which is huge but how would you feel if you were partly responsible for dude actually committing suicide. Yes, it sounds ridiculous but there's enough hatred and violence in this world.

Maybe planet earth might be better off with out certain individuals but people simply using free-dumbs aren't among them. As long as natural rights are being respected.

Marty, you're annoying as fuck but then again I presume we shouldn't let it get to us so much. It is a comment section after all and music is SUBJECTIVE which is a concept some seem to forget when trying to impose their opinion on others.

I don't personally know you and neither do I know what you're doing with your life but I hope it's benefiting either you, family or the nation. Judging from some of our past debates you have capabilities. Everyone does in one way or another; it's a matter of practice and persistence. And I'm not putting myself on a pedestal. I'm the same as everyone else here with strengths and weaknesses.

However it appears you've thick skin so I doubt any of our words even got to you hence my comment about your ego in the first paragraph. This probably isn't my place and I should be playing my position so I'll end it here. Just had to say it.

    Peace & safety.

  • PUT THAT DICK IN MY ASS

Dope dope cole world we in this yeah know what it is yeah

  • http://asdasd.com dsfdsasd

we'll he definitely released this song on the right day. Its a good first single I think it will definitely get some good radio play. I'm hoping most of the album is some raw shit like can I holla at ya, song for the ville, show me somethin, grown simba, good game etc. I feel like he won't give in to the industry and make shit to just please the masses.

  • 1hunnit

Well said @CaliGrown. Music is all subjective. Im sure Marty is not the only one in the world that does not like this song. His reasons for disliking it may be skewed but they are his opinion. Whatever he says is not fact, its just what he believes.

  • m polo

    this track is fire !
    Born Sinner gon be great

  • D

The first single is for the radio, when will niggas learn? Can it be played at a club or tirelessly played by suburban white kids? Yes. Truly Yours is for the blogs/blog-checkers; so just hold off until you get the whole project. Which by the title and first single, might just be a concept album, and we know how you all will trip of that shit, so it you can, be patient.

And it's been since 2008-09. If you don't like Cole, fair enough, you've had mixtapes and an album to get your head around it, if you don't fuck with the music, to each their own, but by the reception and acclaim Cole has gotten, even a hater at this point must at least question; Do I hate good, legit music, or do I just hate "popularity" and "popular" artists, because it feels to mainstream?

If so, please don't buy, hype, listen to or mention the next Jay/Kanye/NaS/Dre/*insert rich-ass-not-in-hood-anymore-rapper-name you choose, whom you like* album, because they are all in the same relative vein as Cole.

    That is all.

  • marty mcfly

Alright I lied y'all. I don't get any pussy. I spent all of valentines day hating on this track cuz it reminds me of my ex girlfriend. And by ex girlfriend I mean I took her order at McDonald's once. But I know she felt something between us! I just know it...

  • chef

i dont know why people are hating on this song... its not great or anything but its still a listenable radio song

  • chef

and marty... get a life... you're a fag who probably got his bottom two ribs removed so he could suck his own dick cause he gets no play...

  • marty mcfly

You mothafuckas are so emotional over Cole and Kendrick that anytime somebody doesn't think their the greatest rappers of all time you bitches cry about it. Get over your emotional love attachments with Cole and just consider the musicality of whats being said. Read first and you'll see that I and others who make statements like mine aint even hating on Cole you idiots. Its starts off just being about the song but you fools start getting hype and then it becomes a different kind of conversation. If you werent so emotional about Cole then maybe the musicality could've been talked about and the substance of what was being said could've been more constructive and nobody would've have felt like their being dissed but as soon as you see me not praising you almighty rap god J Cole you cant handle it and then take the conversation away from rhymes and beats because you probably got Cole tattooed on your chest. Bitches

^^^^^^I REALLY wanna see what Marty looks like in real life (pause) to make fun of either his weight, acne, or his social anxiety because he obviously has no fuckin social life since he practically lives on this site lol

  • chef

marty... i dont think anyone thinks you're actually hating on cole we all just really think your a complete and total fag... you're like the eric cartman of the c-section on EVERY post... and if you really think this song lacks substance you're dumb as fuck, this is obviously a radio friendly song and it still has somewhat of a message...

  • marty mcfly

First off im not on EVERY post and 2nd how come alot of you have a complaint about shit that I didnt even say in the first place. More then half of these comments are about some shit that wasn't even said in my comments. When did I say it lacks substance? When did I say anything about it being radio friendly or not? 95% of you dickheads complaints in this section is based on shit I didnt even say to begin with and some of the shit I actually agreed with and some of you still arguing the shit. This is why I say read first then talk and thats how I know its not even about whats being said. You shit see someone who's not praising J Cole and you cant take it. Smh

  • marty mcfly

Yeah I know, you can dance around what was said and you can create new arguments about what was said but one thing that almost never happens (when it does I salute it though), is someone take a serious point that was made and reply back with some shit that can counter it or prove it as being untrue. You just take some shit you thought I said or you thought I meant and created opinion based arguments about shit I didnt say or shit based on things thats not even reality. Thats also how I know that when I do say some shit about Cole, you actually think the same thing and probably agree but you cant deal with it. Done

  • chef

you're obviously getting shit on... stop writing your fucking paragraphs and at least change the fucking name you use because every time someone sees marty mcfly the first thing they think of is that fag on 2dopeboyz and they wanna go at you... you're like the kid in high school who doesn't realize everybody thinks he's a fucking faggot...

  • three

the thing is marty, nobody asked for your opinion. get your own blog for damn sake. like one comment cool, but about 15 is a lil excessive. i have no clue why you put so much effort into expressing your displeasure with another mans art. just relax and listen to some shit you do like

  • Jordan

For people complaining about the subject matter/content, J. Cole has already made hip hop singles before (Who Dat, Blow Up) and they went nowhere. It's smart on his part to target the female market.

  • rerw

i agree with marty though. yall are so petty on this site you cant have an objective conversation about music you always make it about the artist and turn it into some petty political shit

  • marty mcfly

@three, thing is though I didnt spend most of the time expressing my displeasure with another mans art. I spent it responding to fools that created arguments not even based on the song or what I said, it was based on what THEY said and opinions but based on other shit after I said repeatedly, lets just talk about whatever song he puts out AFTER this one.

  • marty mcfly

I make my comments and let it go, then you make a comment and I say wtf are you talking about and then you create a bunch of other arguments or you bring up what Jayz is doing or whats on the radio right now or what you think I meant with my original comment and then I say again wtf are you talking about after I bring up facts and then I just say you know what forget it and then you reply with oh he's just hating. Thats how it goes nine times outta ten with J Cole but its cool.

song is dope. nice production. lyrics are on point. shows cole's progression. shout out to new music. @frtnclothing

  • kill mcfly

I think Mcfly has mental issues. What kind of a man would spend all day every day trying to start arguments on a blog? I'm glad everyone is bombing on this fool, a Jay Z dick rider that always tries to use record sales to "prove" his case.

  • marty mcfly

^^^ see what mean, record sales? wtf you talking about and when did I use records "to PROVE my case"? Do you even have one example of that we can pull up on this site? cause every time I bring up sales I start off the comment by saying records sales dont mean everything... and then I comment. You just talk out your ass about nothing.

  • marty mcfly

and if you talking about the Jayz comment I made after it was already brought up? Whats crazy to me is when people use Jayz as an example of what a lacking artists is, so how does that even make sense. If you wanted to compare Cole to somebody you coulda used Wale or somebody but Jayz? NO

    Welcome Back J. Cole.

  • datreal

ya'll should just throw a bunch of random, inaccurate shit statements into the mix and see how long we can have Marty McFaggot coming back lmao

  • SkipPayless

Marty, I see your point.. But what about Drake's "STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM"?

  • datreal

    ^^^

this should be good...... *reclines in chair, grabs popcorn*

  • 1hunnit

WHAT THE FUCK?! LMAO I come back to check if this joint had a DL link and I realize that Marty STILL ARGUING??? haha

"..I didnt spend most of the time expressing my displeasure with another mans art. I spent it responding to fools.." <- who's the bigger fool? Any of THEM or YOU for trying to argue with them? You're so condescending McFag it's insane. Can't you just see that they wanna fuck with you? AND YOU KEEP REPLYING?! Watch, you'll reply to this comment and try to find something in here to argue about. WHY THO? what do you get out of it? I don't understand.... Anyways, this shit is ridiculous. Now off to find that DL link...

    fuck Marty McFaggot tho

  • Pauly D

Jesus Christ, I REALLY did not know about this until today. Fucking GREAT single for Born Sinner. Miles ahead of Work Out, truly!

    Cole's back!

  • Pauly D

Marty is apparently adamant on blatantly hating on J. Cole.

There's a different between blind hate and an opinion. If you've already outlined that you don't like something, why continue to post? This is like '11 again...

  • http://www.stillonthebench.blogspot.com TR

Good song, obviously generating a lot of buzz

  • marty mcfly

@1hunnit, WHY THO? Cause I wanted too thats why and as for your hero J Cole and 95% of his music? I say what Busta Rhymes said on Anarchy: "Always with the same approach and never once surprised me"

  • Rich1hunnit

Woah, lol didn't realize this was still goin on..and then found out someone used the same name as me..haha. I was like "Wtf my last comment was about you having an opinion.." then i scrolled up and was enlightened. As you were I guess..I've said all I needed to say.

  • 1hunnitFUCKMCFLY

    Lmao told y'all he'd respond

  • Tha Homie

Marty Cole shat on ur assumptions when he released Sideline Story ya loser.

  • Space Jham

Don't complain about simplistic bars when we got niggas listening to Lil B

  • Ducey

This song is trash. SMH at yall letting Cole get away with these simp records. If Big Sean would of made this yall would be calling it trash.

  • http://twitter.com/GtotheFO GtotheFO

Can we ban ytt for spamming? I can't believe this guy called someone insecure, and then posted that shit 15 times.

As for the music, Marty's right, anytime someone has a criticism of their favourite rapper (read: boyfriend) they get emotional. This song's alright, if you're gonna stick to the same lyrical content I think you should change up the style a bit and this sounds like typical cole to me, backed up by a typical (and consistently decent) miguel hook

  • http://N/A XI

Marty is the only person on this blog without a mental handicap!

"Thats also how I know that when I do say some shit about Cole, you actually think the same thing and probably agree but you cant deal with it. Done"
