I have no clue why people compare Weeknd to Dream, besides being R&B artists the two have nothing in common. Weeknd is darker / more niche. Dream is lighter and more commercial, and is an excellent commercial writer. They are in two complete different lanes and both great at what they do.

I personally prefer the more real / darker subject matter and lyrics Weeknd provides and think his voice CRUSHES Weeknds (Weeknd is comparable to MJ…listen to his D.D cover). But if someone else preferred dream there is no argument, because its two complete different types of music! You can like both or just one , it’s personal preference.

    The Dream >>>>>> The Weeknd

Without The Dream, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd would not have experienced the success they have.

  • songs okay. not feeling dream’s stuff as of late. chorus’ arent as interesting as they used to be. loso did what he does; nothing special. @frtnclothing

  • Mac Dre

@Anon I think people compare them because their voices are similar. I agree with you though. They’re different enough. Its not a one-or-the-other type of thing.

definitely has that dream sound but this is just another track to me.
