Similar to how we did Manny Pacquiao, I joined Andreas Hale for a trip to Colorado Springs to shoot the WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner for Life+Times. Spending a day with the champ, we spoke on his journey from a kid growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio to his upcoming fight with Galvin Rees in Atlantic City tomorrow night. The 23-year-old fighter gives insight to his childhood, boxing origins, comparisons to Floyd Mayweather and how he narrowly avoided a 57 year bid to change his life and become the who he is today. Continuing the discussion in another location, we speak on his love for hip hop and his own crew of artists as well. Overall, another great experience that I'm glad I could be apart of.
