Bring It Back: Outkast – Crumblin’ Erb [1994]

blame it on Shake February 25, 2013

Still on a hunt for Outkast’s debut southernplayalisticadillacmuzik on vinyl, I find myself throwing the CD in the home theater and vibing out more and more. It’s quite obvious that ‘kast is my favorite group of all time (as if the name of the site wasn’t a big enough give away) and anytime I start to feel “down” I light something up, press play on track-14 and zone out. There’s only so much time left in this crazy world…

  • Man, I swear if/when someone nopes this……. people need to have a greater appreciation of past ART that paved the way for the current and future.

  • Classic.

Who in the hell said Nope to this!?

  • DockNess

I believe I have twoo copys of vinyl of this album cover and all. I’ll check when I get to the home front and email you guys if I do.

Just listened to this again today, been too long since I bumped it. Fuck cares if I was born in the year of its release; an incredible fucking album forever.

  • xastey

I’ve been listening to Outkast for the past 2 days.. replayed this one a few times, just pure classic

  • Couldn’t say it better myself. I been jammin this fa almost 20 years. This is one of the best hip hop tracks of all time. This song is so tight to me

  • And whoever said nope is smokin crack, hard!

  • Geezy

Man this albums so important to me, came out my 8th grade year 4 days before my bday. Had one of my best friends actually gift me the cd. I still to this day have that CD, it’s scratched to all fucking death but still I kept it. This hit the game so hard when it dropped. Goddamn.. I still prefer ATLiens, but as cold and windy as it is right now, this is certainly proper. Peace.

Aw dude shake you smoke weed?? Fuck yeah dude fuckin’ FRATTTTTT

  • The Beats on this classic album was a moment in life i will never forget

  • OutKast reppa

It’s hard to believe that this dropped 19 years ago. Time flies, man… time flies. It’s still timeless music tho… just as good as the day it came out. And the memories… can it be that it was all so simple then?

  • Windycityblues

Funny that you say that I’ve been eyeing the same vinyl at a spot by where I work

  • gregory kruxx.

Its funny ten years ago you could still get the vinyl at places like sound library when it was open. or A1 in ny
Im surprised its that much harder to find. Since it was never a super rare piece…
I know I got my copy on vinyl tucked away in the collection

  • Wow, believe it or not this was the first album I went & bought on cassette tape, My Mom cashed her Section 8 check, & it was a record store next door & I went in there & Cop this & played it non-stop, the Players Ball (the first version) made me want this album, plus my older brothers use to have that on repeat in there Cutlass, only F**k N***z do a thumbs down on this!
