DIGITALLY DIRECT IS THE FUTURE, FUCK A LABEL. I will support this and I don't buy music or particularly love either of these guys in a way i'd buy their stuff abnormally.

  • Mac Dre

Is it a mixtape, EP, or album? Aren't they both signed to G.O.O.D. Music (Bey as an emcee and Mannie as a producer)? If so, wouldn't GOOD Music/Def Jam have the right to put it out? Regardless, I'm pumped for it.

@JohnnyTarr I looked that up and saw that. I thought he was with Very Good Beats, but I guess not. Anyway, Yasiin Bey is though so wouldn't this project have to come out through GOOD/Def Jam? I'm just asking. Bey wasn't on Cruel Summer either so I was wondering if he got dropped, left, or what happened.

  • Ear2ear

I don't think Yasiin Bey is signed to GOOD in terms of contractually in the label sense. I heard in interview where Mos said that he's just going from project to project at this stage of his career and looking for one strike deals in terms of distribution. Kinda how Common is on GOOD but is distributed thru Warner Bros.

  • otter

YES! Now just put it on WAX please!

from the 3-part video series, it sounds like Mannie's best work in years. And of course, Mos is gonna kill every damn instrumental Mannie throws at him. This has the potential to be project of the year. I mean...the OMFGOD track alone sounds like a classic and we've only heard like 15 seconds of it.
