    Idk... I guess this is "authentic" LL, because this is who he has been for the past 10+ years... It's only disappointing because he hasn't grown since his last 3 or 4 albums. Still, it's not that bad. I just don't know how many more time they gonna say "between these sheets" on a sampler! Damn! How many more times they gonna say that on actual album? lol

    I'll check it out... for old times sake.

    Really impressed with these songs. I think LL found a mature sound on this one. Grown folks music. A few missteps but really dope soundscape. He's not making music for young kids. This is for the 30 and older set. It's the maturation of hip-hop. An older artist still has a place in the game. LL found a good lane here. I disagree, this is a much better effort lyrically and from a production standpoint than we've heard from LL in years. It's not about him being relevant to everybody. He's working with diverse artists and doing what HE wants. Fuck the charts. This is for the LL fans. I for one am impressed.
