The "Party" duo are linking back up. According to E! Online, the Queen B and 3 Stacks will be covering Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black" for a cut off (the Jay-Z-curated) soundtrack to the upcoming Baz Luhrman remake of The Great Gatsby. Any news that revolves around Dre being in the studio, is good news to me.

As much as I love Ms. Winehouse and 3 Stacks, fuck this bullshit. Why cover a song that was written in the 2000's for the soundtrack to a movie that takes place in the 1920's? I'm definitely about to read the novel before I even consider seeing the film.

  • who cares

I really don't understand why they're putting a bunch of modern music on a soundtrack for a movie that takes place in the 20's. Who was the dumbass to give Jay-Z this job? Dude can't even make good music what makes you think he's going to put together a good soundtrack? smh

Gadsby, First, and melodic blessing of the H-town songstress and Andre 3000 back making beautiful music together. Sounds like a great summer.

You guys are some real haters... I looked at the previews. The songs work with the flick. I'm sure you could do better.

Its a modernized rendition of the classic novel. Get over yourselves.
