Let’s be real: this is just a slightly prettier incarnation of last year’s version, and we’re all going to cop it anyways because EA Sports snatched the wig off the heads of NFL 2K years ago and won’t give it back. The cover star is Barry Sanders this year, so at least nobody has to worry about the Madden curse destroying their team’s chances this year. I just hope Barry has someone starting his own car for the next several months, however. August 27th is the date.
