Jay-Z's #MagnaCartaHolyGrail Samsung Android App released the lyrics to "La Familia" today and it looks like Hov's finally responded to Lil Wayne's shots at Mrs. Carter on "It's Good." The album will arrive for Samsung Galaxy users on July 4.

How long b4 Marty Mcfly starts spiitin up Jigga nut in this c-section about how this is the greatest verse/song/slbum etc.......countdown begins now....

  • Shane

Release an actual fucking song already goddamn. I don't give a fuck about lyrics alone

  • MartyMcfly

This is the greatest verse on the greatest song on the greatest album of all time.

  • Mt

Inb4 marty mcfly's dick sucking session

  • Mt

    Born sinner in stores

  • Dr drew

I'm not all that excited for this anymore lyrics are average

  • fk drew,shane,and truth

this shit is gonna fucking knock what are you talking about ok lyrics? he's telling everyone don't fuck with his family or he will kill you. which is perfect timing now that he has a daughter. what the fuck lyrics do you want to hear?? shooting guns and fucking hoes? this man is 43 years old he's a grown ass man fuck outta here with that bs

  • Shotgun Charlie

Either give us a single OR keep the mystery going and dont give us SHIT. Worst marketing campaing ever and was worst is that every fucking rapper is gonna follow.

  • http://jmths.wordpress.com DNLTLK

I think the campaign if there is one, would be something like this...

If a person is really interesting in the album and what Jay-Z has to say, then reading lyrics is a plus. If a person wants to avoid the album, so as to not spoil it, reading lyrics is much easier to avoid than an actual song.

I Jay were to drop a song the response would be massive, as he is arguably the biggest rap name on the planet; he stated in the Samsung adverts that he wanted to drop the project all at once, so the lyric revelations, one create intrigue as to how they fit with the music we've yet to hear, and two keep the casual fan in the dark up until the 4th, because lets face it, people on blogs, privy to the lyrics, are in a vast minority to the people who aren't.

So as far as Jay is concerned, he gives the tastemakers a peek, and keeps the majority of his base in the dark as to what the album will bring, it's smart to a point, but if the music is sub-par, the lyrical content will get lost (see Kingdom Come).

  • http://www.2dopeboyz.com YouDontNeedToKnow.

    He responded to WAYNE!!!

  • Smoke

That is a weak ass response to Wayne. Just better to not say anything at all.

  • Dr drew

@fuckdrew what's so slick that jay said in this verse. What bars here are so amazing?

  • google

this shit is hot garbage,i promise if these lyrics were by someone else you people wouldve call this shit, stop dickriding.

  • marty mcfly

    DOPE !!!!

  • Big L

This album is gunna be hot garbage. Not comparable to the blueprint. the black album. Or reasonable doubt. Its gunna be better than the usual shit. But not Jay's best album. I'll be happy if its better the BP3. which isn't saying a lot.

  • Dr drew

^blueprint 3 was straight but that song with drake was horrible and reminder had an annoying hook

  • marty mcfly

^^^ You wanna be in politics so bad but your career thus far has led you to posting bullshit conspiracy shit about Jayz in a hip hop site LOL. Your already dead inside LOL.

  • HiiiLife

Jigger should stop rapping. just change dirty ass diapers. they dynasty is OVER.

  • MusicHead

@marty mcfly YOU DO DICKRIDE JAY-Z tho .. like heavily .. U sneak bash Kendrick or don't give him enough credit when homie is murdering & can murder ya man Jay right now b. real talk.

  • marty mcfly

@MusicHead, NO, im just a big fan of hip hop music and thats of all hip hop music I consider to be great so Jay's material is included when I comment on what I consider to be great music. What sneak bash of Kendrick are you talking about?

  • marty mcfly

I dont have to "sneak" to say anything about Kendrick and if you think Kendrick can "murder" Jayz or is murdering Jayz? Why would you look for me to give credit to that? As far as I can see Jay is still alive so Kendrick didn't "murder" anybody.

  • Big L

Kendrick shitted on Jay-Z on the Bitch dont Kill My vibe remix. And you dont think Kendrick's verse was better on that than Jay's. Then Clearly, Your ride dick

  • Big L

But Jay-Z is riding Justin Timberlake's Dick right now. So I can tell a lot about your taste in Music Marty Mcfuck Boy

  • marty mcfly

I dont think Kendrick verse was better the Jays but lets say it was does one song really make a difference? If Kendrick killed Jays verse I think thats great, I hope he keeps up the good work. Kendrick making good music and verses really doesn't have much to do with other people's music, especially Jays.

  • http://www.gofever.com nuff

    #MartyCartaHolyBirdshit

  • Big L

one song makes a different if its their only collaboration. Im starting to think your not actually a fan of music. lol What are you doing here? but nvm. And jay's Career was based on the success of his verses, like his best album, reasonable doubt. And the reason why he's even famous, bringing his lyracism to the forefront in the 90s golden era, where rap was all about skill and clever verses and rhymeschemes etc. So you definately are trolling on all this lyrics postings. You probably have no kind of clue what these lyrics might sound like over an actual beat. Since you dont think verses are imporant, i doubt you have a clear concept of what a rhyme scheme is. But you can go back to trolling now.

  • marty mcfly

You cant "murder" somebody by writing a good verse especially if it isnt even a diss song LOL.

  • Jay-Z

Marty Give me a break man. Let Beyonce get some time on my dick right now.

  • marty mcfly

You talking about what Jays verses have done for the game and your also talking about his career. Its simple man, if you think Kendrick has the skill to "murder" Jayz then tell him make a diss record cause I dont think Kendrick doing a collaboration with Jayz is gonna "murder" Jays career. If anything Id think a Jayz feature is good for Kendrick. Im not saying verses aint important, im saying I dont think Kendrick has "murdered" Jayz cause that dont even make sense. Again, if Kendrick or Cole or whoever feel some kinda way then make a diss song and we'll go from there.

  • marty mcfly

And NO, I dont really expect them to make a diss song but just saying. Writing dope verses doesn't mean your "murdering" or "killing" other people. It just means you have dope verses. So what, other MCs have dope verses too so make a catalogue full of great albums and then talk.

  • Big L

Stop saying murder... Did i anything about murdering anything? lol I dont think i have. you might wanna not go full retard if youre trying to make some sense to me. I said Kendrick's verse was better. why would kendrick have to make a diss track? having a better verse is a better verse lol

  • marty mcfly

Ok your write you didnt say "murder", somebody else did but as a metaphorical way of saying "better" I just repeated that word. Anyway, again if Kendrick has a better verse then Jays or you think Kendrick is better then Jay lyrically then thats great. Kendrick can do all the verses he wants cause thats not really effecting Jays music or his verses at all. He can write a thousand verses and that doesn't change anything in regards to Jays career or his lyrical ability. At the end of they day the more you talk about how Kendrick makes a better verse then Jay then thats just leads to making comparisons and no I dont think Kendrick is "better than" in any shape or form. I think Kendrick's lyrical ability really has nothing to do with Jayz.

  • marty mcfly

Ok your RIGHT you didnt say “murder”, somebody else did... BUT...

  • realtalk™

jay is a good business man but he should retire from music already.. everybody loves to hand him the crown but he hasn't put out anything good in years.. hot garbage

  • Big L

Well thanks for admitting that kendrick is more talented than Jay now. But Jay-Z sold out. This album is definately going to be a critical disapointment. Maybe not production wise, but as far as lyrics go Jay-Z is a shell of his former self. If i wanna hear about a rich nigga brag about whitehouse clearance i'll read a book by barack Obama

  • http://2dopeboyz yeaaahh

When will people stop comparing his new and old stuff?? He was hungrier then but now he's just doing it for fun and the love of music. Jay can still rap circles around your favorite rappers. Either you like him or you don't. You don't have to click on every Jay-Z post and talk shit about him. You look stupid! I'm ready for the album!

  • marty mcfly

I didnt say Kendrick is more talented then Jayz cause I dont think he is. I dont think Jayz has "sold out" and I dont think his album will be a disappointment. I think Jayz is still as dope as he was before and I dont have to hate on Kendrick just because Im a fan of Jays music. If you think Kendrick is lyrically better then Jay then that fine with me, I hope he has a great career. I think Game has a better verse then Kendrick on the Jesus Piece album but having a dope verse is not like some big bragging right to me. If he got dope verses thats cool but again alot of MCs can write a dope verse. Big deal

  • marty mcfly

Well let me take that back lol, alot of MCs could write dope verses back in the day. Nowadays only SOME can but again I dont think writing a dope verse makes you more talented then Jayz. Jayz made albums, he didnt just write one dope verse. FOH

  • marty mcfly

Jay popped in my mouth. It tastes like honey. J Cole is next. I bet he tastes like barbecue.

  • Big L

this is C section. I can not like jay-z and let it be heard. That's what it is here fr you lil pansy. and Kendrick made one album and its better than everything that jay-Z has made since 2003. that has to count for something. Lets be real here. How do you relate to jay-z's music? oh right. You dont. and dont bring j cole's bland ass into conversation

  • marty mcfly

^ stop impersonating me. You know my mouth is for Jay-Z only.

  • marty mcfly

These homotrolls is talking more gay then a actual faggot, smh but anyway. Kendrick's started his album run in what 2010-11? Ok well if 15 or 16 years from now if his albums are still as impactful as GKMC was last year then we can compare fairly on an artistic and a lyrical bases but Kendrick got about 15 more albums to complete in that time before you can honestly say he's more talented or better then or "murdering" Jayz or whatever. Good luck LOL

  • marty mcfly

In a few years I might start sucking Kendrick off too. 1 album down, 10 to go.

  • Big L

I mean kanye west is 5 for 6 cause i thought yeezus wasnt good. So really youre not saying anything. A good album is a good album. You cant defend bad work with time. Artists usually get better with time. Its a fact that it takes 20 years to master a skill. Hov's been rapping since the 80s so its likely to me that the blueprint was his peak. If jay z only made good albums we wouldnt be having this conversation. Unless you think for an artist overtime to dwindle. That may b ok to you but its not ok to me. Micheal Jackson didn't have any bad albums. Calling yourself the GOAT makes me hypercritical. Cant be the GOAT if niggas is out here making better music than your previous outings. I dont play that shit

  • marty mcfly

Forgot he had 2 other albums. I get new dick sooner!

  • marty mcfly

You know what would make Kendrick better? If he started making songs with Frank Ocean. He is like the R&B Jay-Z. He makes the type of shit that gets my asshole wet. Forrest Gump is my jam.

  • dude

    im at tears ROOOOOOOOOFLLLLLLLL

  • MARTY mcASS

kendrick said he wouldnt let me eat his butthole :((((( im gonna suicide now

  • marty mcfly

@Big L, between 1996 and 2004 Jayz put out 12 albums that all had significant impact on the culture. This means Kendrick has to do the same or come close and that would also mean Kendrick has to put out an album THIS YEAR thats better then M.C.H.G or else he'll already be falling behind. To say Kendrick is more talented would mean almost EVERYTHING he does artistically has to be done better then Jayz. For the lyrical argument, he cant just come close or equal to Jayz for example Kendricks debut has to completely blow Reasonable Doubt outta the water (lyrically) and so forth with every release afterwards for the argument of "better" or more talented to work. This means for Kendricks next ten albums at least, he has to make better material the Jays to make your argument make sense. With Jays last album, BP3 I think it was better then GKMC. Now you can argue the opposite and thats fine but I think -

    D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)
    Run This Town
    Empire State of Mind
    On to the Next One
    Young Forever

    were better singles then -

    The Recipe
    Swimming Pools
    Backseat Freestyle
    Poetic Justice
    Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe

and I think overall the album was better. Now you can say GKMC was more of a story then BP3 and thats true but on Jays album before BP3, conceptually I think American Gangster was more tightly and cohesively done artistically better then GKMC, lyrically and sonically. Now you can skip albums or you can say that being better then Jayz doesn't necessarily mean you have to work as hard but lets not go too far with the below standard expectations. If Kendrick or any artist has not even out performed Jayz from 1996 (Reasonable Doubt) to 2003 (The Black Album) then its no reason to take the debate and comparisons all the way to 2013. You cant write a dope verse and then think your more talented then Jayz, its just not that simple but good luck to Kendrick. Done

  • marty mcfly

    Correction: Between 1996 - 2004 he did eleven albums not 12 -

    Reasonable Doubt (1996)
In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 (1997)
Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life (1998)
Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter (1999)
The Dynasty: Roc La Familia (2000)
    The Blueprint (2001)
The Blueprint2: The Gift & The Curse (2002) - I counted as 2 cause its a double CD.
    The Black Album (2003)
The Best of Both Worlds (with R. Kelly) (2002)
Unfinished Business (with R. Kelly) (2004)

But still for Kendrick to be better then Jayz he gotta first out perform Jayz from 1996 - 2004 before we can even get into -

    Kingdom Come (2006)
    American Gangster (2007)
    The Blueprint 3 (2009)
Watch the Throne (with Kanye West) (2011)
    Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013)

because before 2005, Jay had put out most of the biggest albums in hip hop consistently. Kendrick and anybody else has a very long way to go. Ok now, Done.

  • the realest

Jay-z hasn't made anything decent since 03 EXCEPT American gangster. That no hook alone deserves a round of applause. Not to mention my nigga puff had a hand in that. But jay is pushing it cuz these lyrics just ain't cutting it for jay. This mostly will be his last great album. Cuz the lyrics just ain't there no more. He making statements, yes. But as far as the art of rap is concerned, jay ain't doing it with these lyrics. Hopefully the music will deliver which is why rap is only half lyrics, and half music. If not 2/3 music. Just as long as this shit don't sound like WTT or BP3. Both was doing too much in the production department. We need that black album American gangster. Shit, kingdom come prelude. Anything other then that is a disappointment. This is jay we talking bout. Not ye. There is suppose to be some difference from the two.

  • marty mcfly

@Big L (I'm sure you're big in more than one way), I also need you to understand why frank ocean's channel orange is an allegory for my feelings about Jay-Z. For example, Thinkin about you represents how I feel when my boyfriend is hitting it from the back. The whole time I'm thinking about Jay-Z. And Bad Religion, its a representation of my feelings when I cry myself to sleep listening to Reasonable Doubt. I could go on, but you get the point.

  • clayton Bigsby

Marty: Fake niggas love fake things. Since fake niggas outnumber the real. That may explain the popularity of Jay Z. Like I said. I'll take Ghost any day over Jay Z.

After the club songs and fake drug dealer songs. It's not much there. You can't go song for song subject for subject with anyone in my top 10 because he only raps about two things.

  • clayton Bigsby

marty mcfly: Better Singles. Not better songs. The funniest thing is that Jay fucked up Kendricks vibe. On his song. Don't fuck up my vibe.

Put that on Jay's record. LOL. Right now he's batting 2 for 2 with fucking up hits this year. Don't forget what he did To Justin's Suit and tie. WTF is Jay talking about.

  • YE IS US YEEZUS

is it me or is every lyric sheet hes released so far really short? i hope each song aint gonna be 2mins long smh...

  • DUH

NOONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOUR CRAPPY MUSIC ANYMORE SHAWN

  • Big L

I stopped caring about this debate at "i think bp3 was better than GKMC".Dont got time to argue why Bp3 was Jay-Z's worst album. If you like Hip-hop you outta just know that. Plus i cant tell the real Marty from the fake ones anymore. whatever. ( shrugs)

  • chancellor

damn thats Big L tapping out

  • the realest

^ lmao @ that nigga saying he tapped. That nigga puts everybody in the ken shamrock ankle lock of death with his jay-z nut hugging logic.

  • dro03

Brace yourself for the main event
    Y'all impatiently waiting
It's like an AIDS test, what's the results?
Not positive, who's the best? Pac, Nas and Big
Ain't no best, East, West, North, South, flossed out, greedy
    I embrace y'all with napalm
Blows up, no guts, left chest, face gone
    How could Nas be garbage?
    Semi-autos at your cartilage
Burner at the side of your dome, come outta my throne
I got this, locked since '9-1
I am the truest, name a rapper that I ain't influenced
Gave y'all chapters but now I keep my eyes on the Judas
With Hawaiian Sophie fame, kept my name in his music
    Check it

    [Chorus]

    [talking]
Ay yo, pass me the weed, pour my ashes out on these niggas man (no doubt)
Ay, y'all faggots, y'all kneel and kiss the fucking ring

    [Chorus]

I've been fucked over, left for dead, dissed and forgotten
Luck ran out, they hoped that I'd be gone, stiff and rotten
Y'all just piss on me, shit on me, spit on my grave (uh)
Talk about me, laugh behind my back but in my face
Y'all some "well wishers," friendly acting, envy hiding snakes
With your hands out for my money, man, how much can I take?
When these streets keep calling, heard it when I was sleep
That this Gay-Z and Cockafella Records wanted beef
Started cocking up my weapon, slowly loading up this ammo
To explode it on a camel, and his soldiers, I can handle
This for dolo and it's manuscript, just sound stupid
When KRS already made an album called Blueprint
First, Biggie's ya man, then you got the nerve to say that you better than Big
Dick sucking lips, why not you let the late, great veteran live

  • dro03

Y'all niggas deal with emotions like bitches
What's sad is I love you 'cause you're my brother
You traded your soul for riches
My child, I've watched you grow up to be famous
And now I smile like a proud dad, watching his only son that made it
You seem to be only concerned with dissing women
Were you abused as a child, scared to smile, they called you ugly?
Well life is hard, hug me, don't reject me
Or make records to disrespect me, blatent or indirectly
In '88 you was getting chased through your building
Calling my crib and I ain't even give you my numbers
All I did was gave you a style for you to run with
Smiling in my face, glad to break bread with the god
Wearing Jaz chains, no tecs, no cash, no cars
No jail bars Jigga, no pies, no case
Just Hawaiian shirts, hanging with little Chase
    You a fan, a phony, a fake, a pussy, a Stan
I still whip your ass, you thirty-six in a karate class
You Tae-bo hoe, tryna' work it out, you tryna' get brolic?
Ask me if I'm tryna' kick knowledge
Nah, I'm tryna' kick the shit you need to learn though
That ether, that shit that make your soul burn slow
Is he Dame Diddy, Dame Daddy or Dame Dummy?
Oh, I get it, you Biggie and he's Puffy
Rockefeller died of AIDS, that was the end of his chapter
And that's the guy y'all chose to name your company after?
Put it together, I rock hoes, y'all rock fellas
And now y'all try to take my spot, fellas?
Philly's hot rock fellas, put you in a dry spot, fellas
In a pine box with nine shots from my glock, fellas
Foxy got you hot 'cause you kept your face in her puss
What you think, you getting girls now 'cause of your looks?
    Ne-gro please
You no mustache having, with whiskers like a rat
    Compared to Beans you wack
And your man stabbed Un and made you take the blame
You ass, went from Jaz to hanging with Caine, to Herb, to Big
And, Eminem murdered you on your own shit
You a dick-riding faggot, you love the attention
Queens niggas run you niggas, ask Russell Simmons
Ha, R-O-C get gunned up and clapped quick
J.J. Evans get gunned up and clapped quick
Your whole damn record label gunned up and clapped quick
Shawn Carter to Jay-Z, damn you on Jaz dick
So little shorty's getting gunned up and clapped quick
How much of Biggie's rhymes is gonna come out your fat lips?
Wanted to be on every last one of my classics
You pop shit, apologize, nigga, just ask Kiss

  • Don

    Marty McFuck Boy lololololol

  • MewLover34

Marty McFly is somehow unaware that the majority of Jay-Z albums are complete ass. Solid argument otherwise though...

  • marty mcfly

There's never been a nigga this good for this long
This hood or this pop, this hot or this strong
With so many different flows, this one's for this song
The next one I switch up, this one will get bit up
These fucks too lazy to make up shit: they crazy
They don't paint pictures, they just trace me
You know what? Soon they forget where they plucked
Their whole style from - then try to reverse the outcome
    I'm like: "tough!"
I'm not a biter, I'm a writer for myself and others
I say a B.I.G. verse, I'm only Bigging up my brother
Bigging up my borough --I'm big enough to do it
I'm that thorough, plus I know my own flow is foolish
So them rings and things you sing about, bring em out
It's hard to yell when the barrel's in your mouth
    I'm in new sneakers, dual-seaters
Few divas, what more can I tell you?
Let me spell it for you:
    W I, double-L, I-E
    Nobody truer than H-O-V
And I'm back for more, New York's ambassador
Prime Minister, back to finish my business up

Now you know your ass is Willie when they got you in the mag
For like half a billy and your ass ain't lily-
White. That mean that shit you write must be illy
Either that or your flow is silly. It's both!
I don't mean to boast, but damn, if I don't brag
Them crackers gon' act like I ain't on they ass
The Martha Stewart that's far from Jewish
Far from a Harvard student, just had the balls to do it
And no I'm not through with it
In fact, I'm just previewing it
This ain't the show, I'm just EQ'ng it
    One-two and I won't stop abusing it
To groupie girls: stop false accusing it
Back to the music - the Maybach roof is translucent
    Niggas got a problem Houston!
What up B, they can't shut up me
Shut down I, not even P.E., I'mma ride
God forgive me for my brash delivery
But I remember vividly what these streets did to me
So picture me letting these clowns nit pick at me
    Paint me like a pickany
I will literally kiss Ti-Ti in the forehead
Tell her, "Please forgive me," then squeeze into your forehead
I'm not the one to score points off, in fact
I got a joint that'll knock your points off
Young Hova the God, nigga. Blasphemy
I'm at the Trump International: ask for me
I ain't never scared. I'm everywhere, you ain't never there
And nigga, why would I ever care?
Pound-for-pound, I'm the best to ever come around here
Excluding nobody, look what I embody:
The soul of a hustler, I really ran the street
A CEO's mind, that marketing plan was me
And no I ain't get shot up a whole bunch of times
Or make up shit in a whole bunch of lines
And I ain't animated like, say, Busta Rhymes
But the real shit you get when you bust down my lines
Add that to the fact I went plat' a bunch of times
Times that by my influence on pop culture
I'm supposed to be number one on everybody list
We'll see what happens when I no longer exist
    Man, fuck this

GREATEST OF ALL TIME SO DONT GET IT FUCKED UP.... It must be killing you people inside or something, smh. Stop crying about it punks LOL.

  • marty mcfly

LOL, Nas's lyrics are so funny. I know Jay gotta laugh when he hears Ether. That shit is like stand up comedy material, thats not even a diss song to me. Its stand up comedy.

  • groovy Q

LOL at marty mcfuck saying BP3 is better than GKMC.

There's no debate when you say outrageous statements like that. It just proves you're not thinking rationally, and just licking dicks.

And between 1996-2004, only a handful of Jay's albums are memorable. Most are full of filler tracks. Particularly, Vol. 2, Vol. 3, BP2, R. Kelly albums etc.

Jay got three 3, maybe 4 classics. Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Black Album, American Gangster and the majority of the rest of his material is ass. Talking about how successful he is, how much money he has, how many bitches he fucks, how he used to sell drugs.... that's cool for a while, but over that many albums it;s stale as fuck.

  • the realest

Lol Marty crying cuz he got ether'd. Anybody see that world star jayz parody tho lol?? That shit was dumb funny.

  • Big L

@marty. ugh. about BP3. Pitchfork Media's Ian Cohen commented that it is "so certainly Jay-Z's weakest solo album, you'll be tempted to wonder if Kingdom Come was somehow underrated" But no Kingdom come was not underrated. It was a hot piece of ass. Since everyone except you seems to know that. Saying bp3 was better than gkmc would get you laughed out of most hip hop conversations. IF what youre saying about the albums are true theyre are a handful of rappers that are better than jay-z. Because illmatic for example IS the best rap album of all time. So Nas is better. Unless youre gunna go and try to contradict yourself. If you look at the numbers they have had the same number of failed outings. BUT Nas' last solo album was actually GREAT. Critically praised by every reviewer basically. Jay-Z has yet to have that since 2003. Also outkast would be better than him, well just say Andre 3000 if you dont wanna add a group, Eminem, Q-tip, Rakim,Kanye West, and most members of Wu tang. IF were giong by your standards. Bitch. Checkmate

  • marty mcfly

@the realest, the response Jay did back after Ether is so fucked up, its like I dont even wanna post the lyrics. Its beyond a diss its so disrespectful. @Big L, again for a artists to be better then Jay they after to do EVERYTHING or a large majority of everything Jay has done and they have to do it better. So yes that would mean Jay is the best. Outkast is a group, the only artists you can compare with Jay is Nas and Em but where Em wins is sales, he has not outdone Jay in consistency. As far as Nas, about a year and some time ago on this very site I and many others compared every single moment, every single dope song and almost every single dope verse between the two and Jay was left standing in the end. Now as far as my claim that BP3 is better then GKMC lets go, these are the songs am putting on the table.

    What We Talking About

Now go get Kendricks 12 best songs from GKMC and lets go verse for verse, (metaphor for metaphor, punchline, double entendre, concept etc...) and see who has the best BARS, Concepts, underground and commercial appeal and overall best moments on those two albums. I'll wait

    Now go get

  • marty mcfly

The first song on BP3 is What We Talking About, Kendricks is Sherane. Ok lets compare these two songs first. Make your argument...

  • marty mcfly

Fuck, I'm never sucked a dick for a whole day before. I think I'll call it a night.

  • Biff Tannen

    What a fkn virgin lol

  • marty mcfly

Exactly you either gonna homotroll or backdown so just stfu and furthermore you can put up ANY artist best songs no matter who it is or how many songs it is and I'll put up Jays best and we can go verse for verse, line for line. Its not about simply proving Jay is the best (mostly to people who already know it but just wanna argue), its 98% about pointing out how incredible the artform itself is (2% just shutting you idiots down LOL). Now if people wanna fuck around then im straight but if you wanna have a serious debate about who the GOAT is then its whatever and dont talk to me fucking Kendrick. Much respect to homie but one verse and one platinum is just not enough to go to war with Jay yet.

  • Biff Tannen

Such passion for another man smh

    Sad times

  • marty mcfly

Damn, Jay came all over me. Think I'm done now.

  • marty mcfly

@Biff, I would make the same argument for Nas, Cube, Meth, Common, Lupe, AZ etc...so take your pick. I still think Jay is the best but when it comes to certain MCs the notion that the legendary greats have a problem in the lyrical department is ridiculous. People come with shit like jay aint the best because he's not lyrical or he's wack lyrically? Im thinking what fucking planet you come from? Now I know alot of you cant make an intelligent argument without spewing all your homo erotic fag fantasies but you can just save all that bullshit for your own mentality. You have no intelligent argument and thats the bottom line.

  • the realest

Just bcuz someone was more disrespectful doesn't mean they had the better rap. @ marty

  • Biff Tannen

So that justifies you being an extreme sack jockey?

  • MusicHead

@marty mcfly are u gon sit there AND REALLY SAY SAY that In My Lifetime Vol 1 was dope !? Smh. Go re-listen .. THAT SHIT WAS SERIOUSLY TRASH.. The 1st track dope..the rest is a struggle. Don't live in nostalgia man .. 2ND DID U REALLY JUST SAY BP3 is BETTER THAN GKMC !? Nigga the only Jay album u can compare is Reasonable Doubt, BluePrint .. Black Album close. The rest ? NO. Man I wish I cud call u & logically & factually school you man. I can't believe on this post you just hyped Jay up like that like every album he made was dope smh.. U got RD, Vol 2, Blueprint, Black Album, (American Gangster was was solid) but the rest were with trash, mediocre or okay. Wow. While Kendrick is 4/4 from the KlamarEP, OD, Section80 & GKMC. but actually 2/2 so far when only counting albums...but their both arguably classics out the gate. & LYRICALLY ? Like honestly Kendrick is on the level of what Jay was at his best ALREADY.. So CMON man.. I respect Jay & what not but he's not what u hyping & def not the Goat. .

  • marty mcfly

@the realest, hey you remember when Lil Wayne had that line about Kidnapping wifey or some shit like that? I think Jay responded in this song LOL. Just saying

well just use those because bp3 has more tracks. wouldnt be fair to choose 12 now would it? Firstly GKMC didn't recieve any negative reviews. Only rave reviews. Bp3 received mixed to positive reviews. anyone of those songs i listed are better than all of the songs you did. Point blank and simple. You are FUCKING RETARDED. to think that bp3 is better than GKMC. I want some of whatever youre smoking dude. And i dont even mean to be disrespectful. it just baffles me. If you can find me like 10 other people who think the same way about the bp3, i'll show you 10 people that need to seriously consider just never listening to rap again. like If nobody thinks the way you do, doesnt it occur to you that something is wrong with you? like are you a crack baby? is your mom a street wandering prostitute? do you even know who your father is? Whats your higest level of education? Do you do pills? Look up both albums on say wikipedia and compare them. That site works wells for the simple minded. Am i saying that none of jay z's albums are better than GKMC? no no im not. but you have the audacity to say that jay's possibly worst album, one that HES not even proud of, is better than probably the best rap album released in the last few years? really? thats fucking unbelievable. if we were in a room face to face, i'd spit directly into your eyeball. As far as other rappers Eminem has only 7 studio album, only one was a failure( relapse) to jay z's three, and three is being generous. ( american gangster, bp3, and kingdom come). and outkast blows jay out of the water with no bad album so them being a group is very convienent for your arguement. And i love how you just conviently didn't say anything about kanye LOL. And you didn't even explain the nas thing. But he did make the best rap album of all time on everybody's list as where jay barely breaks the top ten with reasonable doubt. Check 50 lists online of best rap album of all time and show me one that doesnt have illmatic as number 1. For Nas' worst albums ill give you hip hop is dead, and untitled, NOw if we compare their two latest solo albums, Bp3 and Life is good, Life is good is just all around better. How jay was left standing between the two verse for verse is just you really liking jay z and just pushing your opinion past music critics and the majority alike, which is why your arguements never go anywhere and the C section lothes your very existence. GOOD DAY SIR

  • groovy Q

    @marty mcfuck

just admit you lost. you aren't going to get one person agreeing with you on BP3 being better than GKMC. That's a dumb ass statement and you've lost all credibility as a commenter on here (but you already lost that a long time ago).

  • MewLover34

Man why does Marty always say Kendrick only has one album? The man has 4. Section.80 is an album, the fact it's not on a major label is irrelevant. He can call OD a mixtape all he wants, but it is an album, and obviously better than a large chunk of the Jay-Z discography. And his "EP" is 15 songs, so again, that's an album. and he has other actual mixtapea as well. By your own logic, I'm taking Kendrick's first 4 projects over Jay's first 4 and by a fucking HUGE margin too. I'll probably go the rest of my life without ever listening to Vol. 1-3 or The Dynasty in full ever again, but Section.80? GKMC? OD? The KL EP? They get played on the regs and will for a very long time to come. #GetYourHeadOutOfYourAssLily

  • marty mcfly

i wish jay would hold me closely :'(

  • Big L

Im taking wale's first two mixtapes over Jay's work since 2004 if you want me to keep it funky with you.

  • MewLover34

And oh my lord, did you just say Jay is more consistent than EM? Take that bullshit somewhere else man...

  • Big L

THANK YOU. GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE READING THAT SLANDEROUS FLITH.

  • marty mcfly

@Big L, 1st of all this aint about other people's reviews. Its about your review vs mine. Thats one point... Hold on

  • groovy Q

    @MewLover34

Totally agree with you on that. I've come back to listening to KLEP, OD, Section80 and GKMC over and over for the last two years since I started listening to Kendrick. Still not sick of them. But I've probably never listened to Vol. 2, Vol. 3 or The Dynasty more than 10 times max. I like Jay's classics, but he has such a large amount of average or wack music as well which you cannot ignore.

Now what two songs do you wanna debate first?

  • MewLover34

@Big L, Relapse was awesome. Encore would be Em's bad album, or Recovery if you weren't really feeling that one.

  • Big L

Let's start with the two most linear story like songs. Tell me how and why venus vs. Mars is better than master splinter's daughter. Go head im listening. THIS OUTTA BE GOOD.

  • ghost of Biggie Smalls

Im still shocked that no one has truly made a legitimate argument that GKMC is better than BP3. You guys gotta stop arguing with emotions and bring out the facts. Who cares if it was a dumb statement (which imo it was). Just make an intelligent argument LOL. I would gladly do so if I wasn't typing on a cracked touch screen right now(times are tough) but im out. Peace to all.

  • Big L

@mewlover Relapse might be good to some people, i didn't think it was awful, i just picked one i didn't like for the sake of the arguement. His sarcastic joking like delivery kinda turned me off. I like dark psychotic screaming eminem. If that makes sense. I like slim shady and MMLP. But im not the hugest fan of em to begin with.

  • marty mcfly

Ok Venus vs Mars vs Sherane lets go. Hold on...

  • MusicHead

Marty .. Big L just SCHOOLED YOU B. and ill take Wale's Attention Deficit, Ambition & The Gifted over Kingdom Come, AG, BP3 & that's honestly no knock to Wale ..but I know y'all like to slander Wale.. ill takes Wale's More About Nothing & Eleven One Elecen Theory over ALL them last 3 Jay albums.. Jay keeps droppin the ball with MEDIOCRE things .. AG was solid but had some TRASH SONGS on it & then some DOPE ASS SONGS on it..so it balances & Kingdom Come isn't really trash just mediocre & über average BUT BP3 '!!!? THAT'S SUPER TRASH EXCEPT FOR Thank You, Already Home, On to the Next, DOA maybe.. after them .. THAT' SHIT US SO FUCKIN HARD TO LISTEN TO & SKIPPABLE .. So trash. FUCK OUTTA HERE B. Kendrick got 4 albums like MewLover said .. & all them projects are 8.5's or HIGHER.

  • MewLover34

@ghost of Biggie Smalls, That's because the statement is beyond silly and no one should even dignify it with a response. I like Jay very much, but for fucks sake, Marty makes him out to be Jesus. The mans lyrics are not anywhere near as clever or deep as he claims they are and his flows are generally pretty basic.

    • ghost of Biggie Smalls

Na Marty is usually on point with jay-z. I just don't see BP3 as a whole project better than GKMC. Oh and HOV is and will be for a while until someone else can remain relevant for as long as he has......the GOAT. But anyways that's just my opinion. Peace.

  • marty mcfly

First I'll Venus vs Mars is reference to the book Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus. Jay has a conversation with himself on this song playing both parts. He uses two separate tracks to do this adding to the creative nature of the song. The song is also a story about a relationship so conceptually your dealing with three layers of creativity and substance thus far (mars and venus - back and forth conversation and a relationship story) Now for every quality or negative about Venus Jay has a response thats a clever punchline or metaphor so thats another part of the songs creativity... Now I could go on but Kendrick got a lot to overcome thus far with Sherane...

  • MusicHead

@MewLover ENCORE WAS COLD .. RELAPSE & RECOVER ARE EMS BAD ALBUMS !!

  • MusicHead

@marty look bruh EXPLAIN HOW SONICALLY & NOT CONCEPTUALLY IN YOUR GREAT STUDIES AND RESEARCH HOW VENUS VS MARS IS BETTER THAN SHERANE ?

  • marty mcfly

@MusicHead, we not talking about Wale, or Kingdom Come or whatever the fuck your babbling about. We're talking about 12 songs I pick from BP3 vs the songs @Big L picked from GKMC. We gonna go through each and see who got the best material. Calm down with you outburst about Kendrick this and Kendrick that cause thats what we talking about right now.

  • Big L

NOW YOU DO REALIZE THIS IS THE HOOK TO THE SONG YOURE ARGUING FOR?
    Shawty get it in,
    Daddy go hard
    Shawty get it in,
    Daddy go hard
    Shawty get it in,
    Daddy go hard
    Shawty get it in,
    Daddy go hard
    Shawty get it in,
    Daddy go hard
    Shawty get it in,

ARE WE CLEAR? I hope so

  • Big L

Explain exactly, how that is profound creativity? sounds like the ying yang twins woulda wrote that? dont you agree?

  • MewLover34

If you like Encore then great. I guess the man doesn't have any bad albums. Cause Relapse was amazing. And Marty, I don't think BP3 is anywhere near as bad as others are saying, Jay has far worse albums, but Venus v. Mars? That shits getting skipped every time any way you look at it.

  • marty mcfly

@Big L, yes I release thats the hook. You realize these are the verses -

Hov's a Blackberry Bold, shorty is a Sidekick
She used to have a man, I used to have a side chick
Shorty got wind, I had to blow the chick off
She got rid of him, they both took the shit hard
Shorty played the piano, me I played with white keys
Shorty from the South, oh I think she like me
Shorty like Pac, me, Big Poppa
She screaming hit 'em up, I'm screaming who shot ya?
I'm on that red wine, shorty like white
Same shit, different toilet, we both getting nice
Me I'm from the Apple, which means I'm a Mac
She's a PC, she lives in my lap

Whether black or white, we both like Mike
We both like Jordans, we both Phil's Knight
I finish my breakfast, shorty's out to lunch
Yeah we both eating, it's better than brunch
Shorty like Pepsi, me I'm the coke man
Body like a Coke bottle, I crush it like a Coke can
Started at the window, end up at the wall
The Yin to my Yang, I skeet skeet off
In a salt and pepper 'Bach, shorty like to front
The Bonnie to my Clyde, both riding shotgun
Both covered in gold like C3P0
James and Florida Evans, let the good times roll

Thought shorty was the truth, found out she was a cheater
We were supposed to Takeover, I caught her bumping Ether
I thought shorty liked Mike, found out she liked Prince
Thought she was Adrian, it's been rocky ever since
My dollars was down, she left me for some Euros
Took my whole flavour, I call her Coke Zero
We were co-MVP's like Kobe and Shaq
Left me for the Heat, we were winning back to back
Said I party too much, shorty got fed up
Shorty got Britney, shaved her whole head up
We used to make out, kissing each other's face off
Fell for the Ponzi scheme, damn shorty just made off

Venus Vs Mars is a story to a degree and Sherane is a story. Before we go any further with the songs we picked out first you gotta show me how lyrically Kendrick out bar'd Jay here.

  • Big L

BP3 is a nutshell was grandpa Jay-Z trying to seem still hip and cool to a younger audience. Hence the reason why there are only 3 tracks on the entire album that didn't have features. Most of which were newly popular and their names seemed very attractive on a cover of a CD. If you think that Jay-Z's relevance isn't due very much because of his money if not entirely, then you may need to rethink things

  • marty mcfly

And thats aside from all the other creative factors involved with the song. Now @everybody else. I know you wanna talk about other shit but just comparing songs off these two albums is enough work for right now so please bring up other shit at another time. Thanks

  • marty mcfly

@Big L, so is that your final response as to why Sherane is lyrically or otherwise better the Venus Vs Mars? I mean you the one that pick out these two songs to compare first.

  • marty mcfly

Next I'll go with A Star Is Born whatever you got...

  • marty mcfly

    A Star Is Born vs...

  • MusicHead

Just cause you relevant for that long doesn't mean your the GOAT..cuz if that's the case my nigga Wayne the GOAT.. Cuz he's gonna be relevant for FOREVER even if he's trash .. ON TOP OF A RAP PRIME that lasted from 04-10.. Like c'mon man.. If u have a dominated prime like Wayne come holla.. ..but honestly it's either Nas, or Waynr who are the Goat. Em is great but homie is def not listenable for the most part & HONESTLY gets thrown into discussions & used as a crutch ..when honestly how many got Em even on their music players ? Not alot besides his die hard fans & a white dude with advantage he has cud never be the Goat. & Pac & Big can't just because their deaths boosted their legacy .. I will say Biggie was FUCKIN COLD & lyrically better than Pac & it's not even close. Nas could be the Goat cuz of Illmatic alone, then It Was Written, (I Am was solid tho) Stillmatic, God's Son (DOPE) , Life Is Good !! He got some serious heat & 3 of the greatest classics ever.

  • Big L

@marty hmm lets see. What Jay did there is basically name things that were different but kind of similar and made it rhyme for three verses straight which got pretty annoying after idk, the first verse. His flow was the same for the entire verse FOR EVERY VERSe. Shawty wass a blah blah, i was a blah blah. nursury style rhyme scheme over a mediorce beat, diguised as a song that meant something. his best bar wass the apple mac line which wasnt mind blowing, and his worst line was obviously the ying yang twins reference. BUT. on to Sherane. here are lyrics as if you dont know them.
I met her at this house party on El Segundo and Central
She had the credentials of strippers in Atlanta
Ass came with a hump from the jump she was a camel
I want to ride like Arabians, push an '04 Mercedes-Benz
"Hello my name is Kendrick," she said "No, you're handsome"
Whispered in my ear, disappeared then found her dancing
Ciara had played in the background
The parade music we made had us all wearing shades now (Cool)
"Where you stay?" She said "Down the street from Dominguez High"
Okay, I know that's borderline Compton or Paramount
    "Well is it Compton?"
"No," she replied and quickly start batting her eyes and
I strictly had wanted her thighs around me
Seventeen, with nothing but pussy stuck on my mental
    My motive was rather sinful
"What you trying to get into?"
She didn't tell, just gave me her Nextel
Dropped the number, we chirped the whole summer and well
The summer had passed and now I'm liking her
Conversation we having probably enticing her
Who could imagine, maybe my actions would end up wifing her
Love or lust, regardless we'll fuck cause the trife in us
It's deep rooted, the music of being young and dumb
Its never muted, in fact it's much louder where I'm from
We know a lot 'bout each other, her mother was a crack addict
She live with her granny and her younger two brothers
    Her favorite cousin Demetrius's irrepetible
Family history of gang banging - did make me skeptical
But not enough to stop me from getting a nut
I wanna come over, what's up? That's what I told her soon as this episode
Of Martin go off, I'm trying to get off
I was in heat like a cactus, my tactics of being thirsty
Probably could hurt me, but fuck it I got some heart
Grab my momma's keys, hopped in the car, then oh boy
So now I'm down Rosecrans in a Caravan
Passing Alameda, my gas meter in need of a pump
I got enough to get me through the traffic jam
At least I hope cause my pockets broke as a promise man
I'm thinking bout that sex, thinking bout her thighs
Or maybe kissing on her neck, or maybe what positions next
Sent a picture of her titties blowing up my texts
I looked at 'em and almost ran my front bumper into Corvette
Enthused by the touch of a woman, she's a masseuse
And I'm a professional porn star when off the Goose
I had a fifth in the trunk like Curtis Jackson for ransom
I'm hoping to get her loose like an Uncle Luke Anthem
I'm two blocks away, 250 feet
And six steps from where she stay, she waving me 'cross the street
I pulled up a smile on my face, and then I see
Two niggas, two black hoodies, I froze as my phone rang

As a story this pretty much blows away Venus vs MArs completely, but you already know that. His flow on the song was exciting and changing throughout while telling the story as if its from an actual novel. using clever dialouge and giving you a setting and a clear view of whats happening. He even manages to encorporate some clever lines in the songs, the fif in the trunk was excellent wordplay, the camel hump line was also pretty clever. the irony of the in heat like a cactus my tactics of being thirsty was just amazing. the irony in that one line, is a reason to repay the song, it was was almost ingenuis. He gave you a great overview of his situation being young and thinking about sex and trying to get it no matter what, weighing out the reward with the consequences. All around a better song.

  • marty mcfly

@MusicHead, one thing at a time youngin. One song at a time... Now I bring up A Star Is Born against whatever @Big L is talking about, just for the love of the culture. I believe Jay loves hip hop as much as the fans as to reasons why he has no problem giving props to others. Example A Star Is Born

I seen Mase do it, I seen Ye do it
X came through, caught lighter fluid
    Still I came through it
    Clap for em
    But I’m the blueprint
I’m like the map for em
    I dropped another classic
    Made Puff pass it
Nobody could touch Puff back when Puff had it
    Wayne scorching, I'll applaud him
If he keep going, pass the torch to him
50 came through like hurricanes do
I thought I'd finish his ass at Summer Jam too
I had the Illmatic on bootleg
The shit was so ahead, thought we was all dead
Wayne did A Milli, 50 did a milli
Ye too, but what Em did was silly
The white boy blossomed after Dre endorsed him
His flow on Renegade, fucking awesome
    Applaud him

Snoop dogged it, Nelly came down
The Face Mob, kept it ghetto for the H town
Luda moved digits after he moved bitches
Drake’s up next, see what he do with it
Rule had a run, couple movie parts
T.I. literally wanted to shoot up the charts
What up Jeezy, what it do
Y’all remind me of us in early '92
Outkast landed, 3 thou was ill
Like a male version of Lauryn Hill
Mobb Deep shook it but Prodigy took it a lil' too far
    Can’t fuck with Brooklyn
    Wu-Tang gangbanged it, Meth ate
Rae took on the date with the Purple Tape
Passed on to Ason and then Ghostface
They had a hell of a run
    Standing ovate, ayyy

And I am one of one
Can’t you see just how long my run
    My reign Lulu's son shine
Been a star since I was back in one time
One time give it up for him
December 4th a star was born
    Clap for him
He went from moving that corner
To this corner office is so enormous
    Hey, Pres Carter
Watch them get they Monica on all day
    Hey
Got so many different monikers but only 1 Jay
    They come, they go
    Some real, some faux
    Some friends, some hoes
But no, I goes nowhere, this Hov

Jus saying, you wanna go further with BP3 we can...

  • MusicHead

Jay-Z's relevant more cause of his marketing skills & playing the game commercially great..not so much solely cause of his music .. Homie compromised alot. he is a legend but GE gets more credit due to his success rather than actual art & material music wise.. He is def the most successful man to ever do it tho.

  • marty mcfly

@ How many dope lines would you say Sherane has and again I believe Venus Vs Mars has more creative layers going on but how many dope lines does Sherane have or simply pick up the top 5 - 10 and post those bars.

  • marty mcfly

@Big L... Just post the top bars from the song

  • Big L

i can literally pick any song marty cmon dog you cant be serious, fuck it. Poetic justice. Probably the weakest song i can think of on the list yo. im getting irritated. Nobody wants to hear jay-z name drop people that were famous but arent as famous anymore and then tell everyone he's not going anywhere we already know that. the fucking snare on the beat of that song gives me a headache. J cole had an ok verse but it was simple and pretty basic. Cole got the glow like a little lightsaber? how is that shit great? its not. its o fucking kay. ok. if youve heard poetic justice, its a better song , annd its a better single with a better feature. and its based on a hood classic movie, which mirrors life in california. Thats another thing. Kendrick was true to his hometown. jay had empire state of mind. thats it. ugh. im so tired of this debate. it ahouldnt be happening. ugh

  • Big L

see thats where you dont get it. thats an entire great song. the line actually connect to make a story with a concept. Its more than just rap. Jay-z shit in VVM is just rap with no foundation. its just comparing male and female in a painfully materialistic manner. nothing deep there. just scrating the surface. and barely

  • marty mcfly

So what you wanna do? We going Thank You

Fore I just applied logic keys, keys open doors
Now I'm balcony, Opera, Black Tux, binocular
Black luxe, stop it I shouldn't be so popular
Name keep poppin' up Face keep poppin' up
On the tube I'm just watchin' Pacquaio box 'em up
How would I know HBO would get a shot of us
Sittin' so close that we almost got snot on us
Please don't bow in my presence, how am I a legend
I just got ten #1 albums, maybe now eleven
More hits than a Now 11
That is no reason to treat me like I'm somehow from outta heaven
Heaven knows that I've made my mistakes, thank God, what a guy as I say my grace
Who woulda thought by making birds migrate
For the winter I be fly all summer might I say

Hovi Baby, we are really high, really high tonight
We tip the waiter a hundred dollars to keep the ice cold, alright
We the last guys to keep the wise guys code alive
If I can't live by my word then I'd much rather die
No no don't thank me, this is just how my suit is stitched
I'm cut from a different cloth, I'm just who the shoe fits
For the Color Of Money like a Tom Cruise flick
'Cept I put eight balls in corners without usin' pool sticks
Beautiful music when champagne flutes click
Beautiful women sippin' through rouge lips
Dangers approaches we're like wait who's this
Let us save you some trouble son, what size suit you is
This way after the Ruger shoots through a few clips
You can lay in your casket just as you is
    We appreciate the target practices
We'll be sure to send flower baskets kid

I was gonna kill a couple rappers, but they did it to themselves
I was goin' do it with the flow, but they did it with their sales
I was goin' 9/11 'em, but they didn't need the help
And they did a good job them boys is talented as hell
Cause not only did they brick they put a building up as well
They ran a plane into that building and when that building fell
Ran to the crash site with no masks and inhaled
Toxins deep inside their lungs until both of them was filled
Blew a cloud out like a L into a jar then took a smell
Cause they heard that second hand smoke kills
Niggas thought they was ill found out they was, ILL
And it's like you knew exactly how I wanted you to feel

    ????

  • Big L

  • marty mcfly

    Already Home?

These niggas want me to go

Sometimes I look at these rappers

    Somebody turn these boys off
Don't they know that I'm on
Can't they see that it's foolish to try and kill me with songs
What the fuck are they Lauryn

You talk me to death, only thing you can do to him
I open the door for them, what else can I do
These niggas want me to walk for them
    Somebody talk to them
Before I go off on them

I taught 'em 'bout fish scale, they want me to fish for them
They want me to catch clean then cook up a dish for them
All of this just for them
Or they got a diss for him
    They want me to disappear
Like it's gon shift for them
They say that I'm in the way
They want me to sit for them
But what they admitting is they ain't got shit for him
And really the fact is, we not in the same bracket

    Don't pay the same taxes

So how am I in the way, what is itI'mmissing?
    Nigga I been missing

The shit that you just witnessesing I been on
And as for the critics, tell me I don't get it
Everybody can tell you how to do it, they never did it
    Now these niggas is mad
Oh they call me a Camel
But I mastered the drought, what the fuck I'm an animal
    Half man half mammal
    My sign is a Sadge
This is just what I planned to do
    Oh don't be mad

    I’m in The Hall already
    On the wall already
    I’m a work of art
    I'm a Warhol already
On another level, on another plane already
    H-O-V
I got my own lane already (already)
I done cooked up the rock already
So why the fuck can't ya'll get hot already (already)
Put your name in the pot already

???? EMPIRE STATE, What We Talking About vs whatever... I mean how you want fool.

  • MusicHead

Hold up Already Home & Thank You are like the best songs on BP3 tho.

  • marty mcfly

Homie dont get it twisted, I got love for Kendrick and all these other new MCs. I wish them all well but Kendrick just aint there yet my nigga. Im not saying he aint got skills but let him get some more albums out the way and then we'll see. Jay is writing the kinda songs that take years to figure out how to write fam. There iconic in nature and there layered like three or four dimensions deep every time almost. Give Kendrick some more time first.

  • marty mcfly

On another note does anybody else feel like Jay got back at Wayne in these La Familia lyrics or is that jumping to conclusions? Jus sayin

  • ya dad

this marty guy is just sad. i feel sorry for the dude. good kid maad city has BP3 beaten in every aspect possible, except sales which are irrelevant anyway.

  • MusicHead

@marty mcfly I respect Jay but u be pushin it when u say he THINKIN songs that are of four & 3 dimensions ..like stop that shit b. nah he not.. he a legend tho. & I see whatchu sayin kinda like how niggas praise Lebron pass Kobe & Jordan & I be like nah give Lebron time & LET HIM DO IT before y'all just assume & claim he better than them niggas already .. but the only thing is Lebroj will never touch Kobe or Jordan's legacies BUT KENDRICK !? That nigga is probably going to be THE GREATEST TO EVER DO IT.. & quick side note if KRIT can get that needed success he can be the greatest from the south to ever do it but yea back to Kendrick when it's all said & done..homie might pass up Wayne, & the other legends, & overtake Nas & be the greatest ever period.. He's on pace like Kanye but he's a MC rather than a artist like Ye.. Every album Kendrick will make will probably be a classic or close. That's the honest dead truth..homie gotta REAL talent & knack for crafting consistent amazing shit man.

  • marty mcfly

@MusicHead, I mean how many separate arguments do I gotta prove before you just give credit where its due and realize aint nobody trippin off Kendrick in terms of him somehow doing it better then Jay. I mean you wanna go S Ambitious and Young Forever or On To The Next.... Next? Somethings I gotta see to believe and Kendrick somehow being better the the GOAT at this point I dont see it fam and it is what it is.

  • marty mcfly

And this aint basketball either fam, this is hip hop. I get the comparisons but they not quite the same. Jayz and Kendrick aint gonna battle rap against each other so it comes down to what Kendrick has done thus far vs what Jay been doing for almost 20 years now.

  • marty mcfly

I mean go listen to Thank You and Already Home again since you've admitted you like those songs. Does Jay sound worried about these niggas? You know how many rappers he's seen come and go throughout the game. You know how many MCs we're supposedly gonna take Jays spot since 1998? COMEONSON, I'll believe it when I see it.

  • MusicHead

@marty mcfly well in that case.. GKMC is BY FAR BETTER THAN BP3 & if you don't see that.. SOMETHING'S REALLY WRONG WITH U .. & u have the ultimate bias.

  • marty mcfly

niggaz ethered me, im gonna tell my mom

  • Big L

shut the fuck up you bumbling idiot. i had to come back to the c section. for you to blow my mind again. GKMC is better than BP3 nigga! nobody is saying kendrick is better than jay z cause you cant compare their careers its impossible. everyone has their own opinion, but like. yours is wrong. it doesnt fucking come down to what kendrick has done vs what jay has done thats fucking retarded. all you can really compare is relevance. Kendrick is more relevant than jay z right now, and you CANT say thats not true, you literally cant. KEndrick is the most relevant rapper alive today. Was jay z preforming tonight at the BET awards? no. Kendrick is more relevant and will continue to be more relevant as jay z becomes less relevant, so fuck you you degenerate slimeball.

  • Big L

and lil wayne has been doing it for almost as long as jay maybe like a year short of him. HE HAS SEEN JUST AS MANY RAPPERS COME AND GO. That dont mean you go around blindly dick riding the shit out of him saying that the carter 4 was better than GKMC. and just for shits and giggles the carter 4 was even better than the bp3, since niggas wanna be radical and shit. i'd rather listen to the whole carter 4 and i fucking hate that album.

  • MusicHead

@Big L u might be THE REALEST NIGGA TO EVER SURFACE THE C-SECTION OF 2DBZ.. FUNNY THING IS C4 IS BETTER THAN BP3 & I hate C4.. but everything you say makes ACTUAL SENSE. It's logically TRUE.

  • Clown

Why are you people even talking to this Jay-Z dick sucking clown?

I actually like Jay, I even think he's top 5 ever.
But the sad truth is, Kendrick has only put out 2 albums, one wasnt even mainstream, he's only 26, and he's already about to pass Jay-Z.

Section 80 is one of the best debut albums ever.
Good Kid Maad City is easily the best album of the last 10 years, Jay has never put out anything like GKMC.

Go ahead and tell me one Jay-Z album that tells a story like GKMC. Where every single song leads to the next, while implementing the wordplay, metaphors, double's etc.

All kendrick needs is about 3 more albums that are on par with Section 80/GKMC and many people will call him the greatest ever.

  • marty mcfly

@Clown, go listen to American Gangster dumbass and with you point about "passing" Jayz, French Montana just dropped an album so is he also about to pass jayz? Just because a artists makes 2 albums LOL smh that dont mean they "passed" Jayz. FOH

  • Big L

@ marty your so stuupid. omg. kendrick has released 4 albums of crazy material. The west coast has crowned him king formally. You can argue with everyone in this c section all day and night. But you a dick rider to the core. Kendrick is going to be more relevant than jay for the rest of his career. get over it

  • justenjoythisshit

This is the greatest conversation the c-section has ever seen.
Someone saying BP3 > GKMC alone is just classic shit.

  • marty mcfly

Kendick gonna do this and that? Man Kendrick aint even get passed Drake so its no way he's somehow passing Jayz in any sense of the word. As far as being relevant, I dont think he more relevant then Jayz but being relevant only carries so much weight. Trinidad James, Future, Bow Wow, DJ Khaled etc... their all relevant too and does not mean that they some how are doing anything better then Jayz. Putting out 4 albums doesn't mean your greater then Jayz either. Personally I think Game has better albums then Kendrick does. Gucci Mane also has 4 albums so is he also better then Jayz? FOH

  • marty mcfly

Immortal Technique has SOME better verses then Jay and Kendrick so is Immortal Technique the GOAT? No, Lupe has some better songs then Jay so is Lupe better too? No. Kendrick GKMC sold more then Life Is Good so is Kendricks one platinum album better then Nas's whole career? NO. Kim Kardashian is more relevant then Kendrick so is she better then him to? NO... To be greater then Jayz you gotta do better then what he's done completely from 1996 to 2013. Skipping the hard work does not mean your better and just making 4 albums and only having one platinum does not mean you did it better then someone who sold 50 million records. COMEONSON

  • Big L

did this nigga just say bow wow is relevant? alright so first you said bp3 is better than GKMC, now you say bow wow is relevant. wow. You are a test tube baby. Were not talking about the number of albums , the number of classic albums. Kendrick has yet to miss. Kendrick is relevant and has happen to be doing better than jay-z this moment. In short, jay-z is past his prime. kendrick is not. Thats the jist of things. and you think not, sucka dickkk. Other than jay's

  • marty mcfly

Yes Bow Wow is relevant. He host 106 n Park 5 days a week so because he's relevant does that mean he's also greater the Jayz? NO The Documentary sold more the GKMC so is The Game better? Kendrick does not have more classics then Jayz and its other artists with more classics then Kendrick like Nas so is Kendrick better then Nas? No. Kendrick has not made better classic material then Ice Cube's

    1990: AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
    1991: Death Certificate
    1992: The Predator
    1993: Lethal Injection
1998: War & Peace Vol. 1 (The War Disc)

but because he's more relevant today is he greater then Ice Cube? NO

  • marty mcfly

Please explain to me how Kendrick is better or greater or passed Nas? because if he's better then Jayz he gotta be better then every other MC in the history of hip hop as well right? NO

  • MewLover34

Can't believe this bullshit is still going on. Marty, what part of this point is hard to understand; Kendrick Lamar's first 4 projects are better than Jay-Z's first 4 projects. That is just a fact of life. We can't compare what is just the beginning of a career to a dude that's been around forever. No one says Kendrick is better than Jay's whole career, but they do say he has started his career far better than Jay did and has endless potential. Now I know your gonna come back and say that Vol. 1-3 don't suck and are way better than Section.80 or OD, but it's just not true, and you won't find anyone on here that agrees with you. Someone said yesterday, that if every single person is telling you your wrong, don't you think even for a second you might be? Don't you think it might be you? I mean fuck, you just brought up The Game again? One last time for you bro; Game Sucks BALLS...all of them...

  • marty mcfly

    @marty

you giant cocksucker. you don't even listen to what people say.

no one is saying kendrick has surpassed jay's career. they are saying he is more relevant NOW, IN THIS POINT IN TIME.

and he only can go up from here if he keeps making the type of music he's been making for the past couple of years.

jay has no good lyrical ideas anymore. he is boring as fuck to listen to. he will always be relevant because of his business endeavours and past accomplishments. but Kendrick has the rap game on lock now and no one is doing it better than him. jay's new album will not have anywhere near the same impact as kendrick has had with GKMC.

    stay getting ethered fuckboi.

  • marty mcfly

@MewLover34, go back and look at what Jay accomplished by the time he got to vol 3. He had sold about ten million records and he had build The Roc and I cant believe you comparing Kendricks first 4 projects to Reasonable Doubt, In My LifeTime, Hard knock Life 2 and 3. That is probably one the dumbass statements i've ever heard on this site. Jay was so far ahead of Kendrick by that time that I doubt Kendrick will ever make it that far for the rest of his career. I've never heard any project where Kendrick delivered something better then Reasonable Doubt so before you go any further just start there. Truthfully Kendrick is kinda boring and wack and alot of his material is trash.

  • marty mcfly

And stop with this whole relevant argument cause almost every artist in the mainstream is relevant. Fucking Nicki Minaj is more relevant then Kendrick. GTFOH. When I heard Kendrick yelling and screaming so wack shit at the end of Backseat Freestyle is was like damn that was wack as fuck. There's other times when Im like how do people think this nigga is nice? Dont get me wrong, im still happy he got a million sold but honestly im not pretending this fool as dope lyrics cause his shit is just aiight bar for bar.

  • marty mcfly

Man I'm gonna break down. I just want my beefcake back from that bitch Beyonce.

  • marty mcfly

Most hip hop fans haven't even heard Kendricks first tow projects. Only you hardcore Kendrick stans give a shit about that and Section 80 and GKMC was just aiight. Dr Dre had to be on GKMC twice and they hyped that album up like it was the 2nd coming of Jesus. Reasonable Doubt had to build off skills, he aint have no mainstream push at all before that and there was no internet to send your music around the globe at the click of a button. Reasonable Doubt had to move by word of mouth from state to state, city to city, hustla to hustla. This era is into soft sounding shit with boring ass beats and very simple rhyme schemes, its not shit hardcore about this era of hip hop.

  • marty mcfly

I love In My Lifetime Vol. 1. He made a songs with Diddy, Blackstreet and even Babyface. Them shits is classic. Makes my pussy wet listening to them. And Reasonable Doubt, that's the shit I can relate to since I'm a homothug slanging rocks, sucking dicks, and tearing down my community.

  • marty mcfly

@homotroll, I shit on your soul and your life every time you post with your dumbass faggot shit. Kill yourself

  • marty mcfly

I learned about Reasonable Doubt back in my homothug days. One of my wonderful hustla beefcakes put it on while he was banging me from the back. I'll never forget it.

  • marty mcfly

@homotroll, for real bitch what is the fucking point? From now on if you gonna homotroll (cause I dont know how any straight male can pretend to be a faggot everyday) then be funny mothafucka. You say a bunch of gay ass shit probably because you lack self esteem or your lost or your future probably leads no where but to shitville but if you gonna homotroll then be funny you bitch. Say some shit thats actually funny I mean cause to me you just shitting on your own existence by doing that bullshit but at least be entertaining or stfu. Make me laugh you fucking jester since im your master, fucking entertain me or kill yourself.

  • marty mcfly

Don't let me get into Kingdom Come. Hollywood is my favorite Jay-Z joint ever (Anything is a close second). I use to dance before bed to them shits. Masterpiece material.

  • MewLover34

"Truthfully Kendrick is kinda boring and wack and a lot of his material is trash" You understand a lot of people would say this exact same thing about Jay right? There is so much fail in what you said, I am so out this bitch. This is dick riding on an unprecedented level. Hope your baby boy doesn't disappoint you on Thursday...

  • marty mcfly

Your like a struggling standup comedian or some shit who ended up homotrolling cause by using my name you feel like someone will read it. Well fucking be funny you gay clown. You use the same material over and over, bitch say some shit thats funny or find something else to do cause you aint doing shit but displaying how unfunny you are and how many homo thoughts you can come up with per day. Bitchassness

  • marty mcfly

@MewLover, the difference his there's facts about Jays career that you can see as fact that hip hop fans have and continue to support his music. Your counting all of Kendricks projects and so far GKMC is the only album to put up a million. Its not all about sales but please stop with this bullshit like GKMC was like fucking Get Rich Or Die Trying level. It just wasn't at all. You homie is not that ill my nigga, he just capitalized on YEARS of promotion and then had fuck Dr Dre cosign and he did worst then 50, Em, and Games debut so please.

  • marty mcfly

@MewLover, please ignore the fact that it took Reasonable Doubt six years to go platinum. My ego can't take it. I need a man to pump me up.

  • marty mcfly

You said Kendrick's first four albums did better or was better then Jays first four. Ok well fuck opinions, go look at actual numbers and you'll see your boy got fucking crushed like an ant. Is sales everything? NO but they do show that a significant number of people actually supported those projects. A number far greater then Kendricks.

  • marty mcfly

Kendrick took a few years to go platinum also clown. Post Kendricks best HIP HOP CLASSICS. CERTIFIED HIP HOP CLASSIC SONGS THAT 9 OUTTA TEN OF EVERY HIP HOP HEAD IN THE COUNTRY KNOWS WORD FOR WORD AND AGREES HIS CLASSIC. I'll wait....

  • marty mcfly

I also forgot to mention that 50's first two albums outsold Jay-Z's first six. That means 50 is second only to my secret lover. But I would still love 50 cent in my ass.

These are some classics from Jays first four releases, bring out Kendrick's and dont give me know bullshit that people dont even know. Post some classics straight up.

  • MewLover34

His first two albums are free releases you fucking clown shoe. I'm talking quality, not numbers, I don't give a fuck about how many records Jay sold, I'm saying OD & Section.80 are better than Vol. 1-2 and Relax on RD, it's great, but calm the fuck down.

  • marty mcfly

I love Imaginary Player. Especially when he says cocksucker beat it. That's exactly what he says to me when I'm on my knees.

  • marty mcfly

Yeah 50's first two albums out sold Jay but been more consistent and had more longevity. But the notion that Kendrick one platinum album is better then Jays first four albums is just some ridiculous stan shit. I brought up 50 because how a nigga with a Dr Dre stamp on his album twice aint even do 5 million or at least 3? If Jay ever had an album come out with a Dr Dre stamp during the promotional stage and the singles that shit would sell more millions then Jays Collision Course project with Linkin Park.

  • MewLover34

And again, all this dude does is talk about sales. The fucking Black Eyed Pees sell tons of albums and have been very consistent for over a decade. I guess they are in the conversation now too right?

  • marty mcfly

If you talking quality and your counting damn near every year Kendrick been in the game then post some certified classic material that the whole hip hop culture would stand up and yes thats a classic hip hop record. And dont come with no shit like his whole album is classic. No mothafucka be specific, what songs are certified hip hop classics that the majority of hip hop fans claim is official...

  • marty mcfly

Oh now all I do his talk about sales? Ok lets go BAR FOR BAR, RHYME FOR RHYME, SONG FOR SONG. You see my list of songs what lyrics from Kendrick are more classic or better or whatever then the rhymes on any of Jays first 4 projects?

    Jay 22 twos 2nd verse

Copped to reach my quota, push rock, roll up smooth like on ya
Whole groove like hold-up, swoll up
Too many faggot niggas clocking my spending
Exercising your gay-like minds like Richard Simmons
If you could catch Jay right, on the late night
Without the eight, right, maybe you could test my weight, right
I dip, spit quicker than you ever seen
Adminster pain, next the minister's screaming your name
At your wake as I peek in, look in your casket
Feeling sarcastic, "Look at him, still sleeping"
You never ready, forever petty minds stay petty
Mine's thinking longevity until I'm seventy
Living heavenly, fuck, felony after felony, what?
Nigga you broke, what the fuck you going to tell me?

Not only are the verses dope but people actually know these lyrics so we can talk lyrics too.

  • marty mcfly

    Jay-Z classics:

    The City is Mine
I Know What Girls Like (I call this one I Know What Marty Likes)
    Sunshine
Can I Get A (Ja Rule also gets me wet)
    Things U Do
    Marty's Best Friend
    Bonnie and Clyde
    Anything
    Hollywood
    30 Something ( u know I like em old n ugly)

  • MewLover34

So you want me to list 1-3 year old songs that every single person thinks is classic? Thanks man I think I'll pass, these people can't agree the fucking sky is blue. All 4 major projects from him are beyond amazing, so he's 4/4, Jay is about 4/how ever many fucking albums this dude has. For real, he barely breaks his 1 hot album every ten year average line.

  • marty mcfly

You aint gonna list classics because you cant list none and if you do it certainly wont out do early Jayz. The reason a said classic is because thats just part of the game, if you claim Kendricks first four projects are better then Jays well that includes classic material.

  • jay Bravo

these are elementary lyrics. you want real lyrics listen to hieroglyphics. i cant believe ya praise this nigga as a good lyricist and he rhymes "ready" with "ready" 4 times and switches it up once with "really".... smh....

  • MewLover34

    ^

  • MewLover34

Taking bets that Doris shits on MagnaCarta in every way imaginable...

  • marty mcfly

You mothafuckas have no argument especially once we get down to bars. On sept 2008 Vibe magazine's special 15th anniversary issue with Jayz on the cover, they list Jay's FIVE HUNDRED SONGS up to that point and this was 2008 so we can go all day with this rap shit. Trust me bar for bar Jay has just done too much so instead of hating or giving a new nigga more credit before actually putting in all the work first, why dont you just respect the game.

  • MewLover34

    I like Jay-Z.

  • marty mcfly

    I like Jay-Z's dick.

  • marty mcfly

Please go order that edition from Vibe magazine, look on pg 135 and just at that list of songs fam. That shit will instantly make you appreciate this niggas contribution to hip hop music cause you'll go down the list and realize that you damn near know all these songs. Its fucking crazy, Just respect the game. You aint gotta like the nigga's music but damn this nigga has done more then these other cats and it is what it is. Manga Carta will just add on to the legacy.

  • marty mcfly

and his beautiful mouth. I hope and wish for a day when he could suck me off. That's why I love his lyrics so much. They came from that beautiful mouth.

  • marty mcfly

And you still homotrolling but whats the fucking point? What is your goal with homotrolling? I mean the shit is just super gay that you even think all this fag and its just weirdo shit. Fucking Kill Yourself already, im done.

  • MusicHead

@marty mcfly you can't compare sales even if Kendrick gotta Dr Dre stamp. .. Why ? Cause sales are so much different & hard to come by than it was back then. Once the digital era 2008 hit.. It WAS OVER ..not alot of ppl who buy albums back then bought them they just get it for free.. unless you a big time marketed artists that white people know of..they'll support your music & buy it still but it's a reason why only Em, Ye, Jay, Wayne, Drake, Nicki, & Kendrick only going play these days & it's not like they gettin plat by much the most #s they pushin are 3 Mill for Carter 4 & 2.5 Mill for Take Care .. C4 almost outsold WTT in 3 days of release out solely on iTunes compared to WTT in a full week & ik talking the week that it hit stores ..so that's really 2 weeks it was out for sale..c'mon ..sales NOT the same. Ppl in the earl 2000s use to hit Diamond & Multi Plat numbers .. Now ppl glad to push Gold records.. Can't use them sales in a debate.. Shits fraud. & you are honestly dickriding Jay now.. & too disrespectful to say Games shit better than Kendrick's. Kendrick 4/4 2 classics & 2 8.5/10 projects.. Homie keeps that lace for just 3 more major label albums & IT'SOVER.. They gon be ready to call him the greatest ever. He's got the potential that Nas had but more consistency ? That's scary man. Be real with your debate more rather than slight bias.

  • marty mcfly

Album sales really started getting low around 2005 and thats because downloading music had been around so long by then. The reason it was a slow fall off for the first five years of the digital era (verses the digital era now), is because the mixtapes kept the fans happy for longer periods of time and and at some times during the early 2000s the mixtape was even more popular then the albums were so downloading didnt just completely take hold right away but still millions of copies were being download when it comes to the mainstream artists back then.
