Back in May, Kendrick Lamar kick-started his good kid, m.A.A.d city tour in my hometown of Las Vegas. A show that was supposed to feature all of Black Hippy but only ended up being K. Dot and Jay Rock as Ab-Soul had to stay in New York for health reasons and ScHoolboy Q got kicked out of the Cosmo hotel over a Vine post (…seriously). In the clip above, Q broke down the situation on Sway in the Morning while below he claims there is no other rap group better than TDE and speaks on the moment he went from a mediocre emcee to a “dope” emcee.
