  • Big Dick John

I wish pac was still alive so that he could pistol whip this gay cracker.

  • Mike Tomlin

^^ Macklemores lyrics have more in common with Pac than most of these other clowns out today.

  • eyinjay

I don't think you know Pac. I doubt he'd be mad about this.

  • lp

No matter how many rap cameos you get, you won't be respected in Hip Hop..

  • p

    That Hollis Girl is Cracking!

  • naysayer

lp you are a fucking cunt

  • MartyMackFlyy

^ You Right....Pac Wouldn't Know let alone care who macklemore is.That Dude Is Horrible.White Peoples attempt to be hip/or cool.Motherfucka just be yaself.

  • muk

^ mad black ppl pissed cos they think hes doin they shit better than them

  • marty mcfly

I'll give it to him though when it comes to videos he got some dope shit. I still aint heard his album but the shit I have heard was cool. If your making the comparison to Pac I think it probably has to do with the fact that both MCs can make songs outta subject matter that could be considered taboo (I think thats the right word), instead of just drilling you with punchlines and in the end still haven't said much. Just saying

  • marty mcfly

@muk, if you'd like to make it a racial thing I'd just remind you that there are more white people who buy hip hop albums then black. Does that mean Macklemore dont got talent? NO, it just means his marketing and promotion range and potential fanbase is just ten times the size of most rappers. It is what it is

  • muk

'White Peoples attempt to be hip/or cool.Motherfucka just be yaself' <<-- that guy made it racial .u sayin black ppl wont buy a white artists work?? cos white ppl do buy black artists work, so if thats true no he hasnt got a bigger potential fanbase.

  • realtalk™

Let's be honest, if Pac was still alive he'd probably be signed to YMCMB right now..

And black people love to hate on white rappers, but truth is the ratio of good vs. wack is about the same regardless of skin color nowadays..

  • muk

u jus cant stand that hes doin his own thing. and its bigger than all the other generic bullsh*t thats churned out by gucci and ....

  • muk

if Pac was alive there wouldnt be ymcmb

  • adi Pre

Mac's doing it and this video is fucking incredible. Pac's dead, End of.

  • rattatat

(some) JEWS ARE RUINING MUSIC, here's another proof

  • Truth

^ always knew Marty was a cracker. don't let me catch you saying nigga again honkey. I'll crack your face in the real world

  • pL

don't care for the song at all but the video is tight

  • marty mcfly

Where did I say black people wont buy white artists work? Its alot of black people with Justin Timberlake, Eminem and Maroon 5 albums out there first of all. Maybe white folks feel some kinda way about black people cause for the most part it seems like black people really dont care if whites choose to rap. I mean Macklemore sold about ten million singles right? So me implying that yeah its prolly alot of white people buying his music, you could take that as being negative but its probably just the truth. I acknowledged his actual musical ability before and after I made the comment so clearly I recognize that its not just his race but also his ability to write good songs as well. If im wrong about the racial aspect of my comment then go compare white artists vs black on a mainstream level and compare the sells numbers and see if its close or if its a cap there in numbers.

  • marty mcfly

And yes I know Macklemore is independent but in all fairness its alot of black artists that can write good songs to but at the end of the process have to find a way to "crossover", Macklemore doesn't have that issue. There's pros and cons to both sides and musical aspects to both sides but when's the last time you seen a black artist sell the same amount of records on they first major look with a project? This aint a shot at Macklemore especially since I gave him his props already but im just saying.

  • jundamane24

LOLO these fuckers bringing up pac like they know him personally...the nigga is fkn dead, get over it. He would have no fuckin say on the state of hip-hop right now because he 6 feet under you lames...

  • j1

Macklemore is a very mediocre rapper, black or white doesn't matter he isn't that good. But this video seemed okay

  • j1

and please don't put this dude and Pac in the same sentence

  • coooooking

this. is. really. overdone. burnt food.

  • The Vet

"I'm cussing my ass off, but because I'm a white guy, parents feel safe. Would success have been the same if I were black? The answer is no." ~ Macklemore

I'm not a fan of his, but after reading that in the Rolling Stone magazine I garnered some respect for him as a person.

  • Frost

    madd cameos...

    dope video...

  • lohead

    i hate rap

  • t-ro

come on Q talk about something else then your white girls sniffin coke
only noticed drama on the second go round.

  • GoDucks

Cool video, happy to see him highlighting spots like Dicks and Broadway in Seattle. Some of the most relevant rappers have respect for him so why can't these haters just let him do his thing

  • http://koolbro.tumblr.com/ lmao

Ive always thought white people knew how to use technology better and would just download what they want instead of buying it marty mcfly. Do you have any stats for white people vs black people being consumers of hip hop or is that just racists bullshit dribbling out your mouth again.

Anyways Im just glad we got some good music for once the heist makes the whole magna carter album look like trash.

  • Will

    Lmao
Anyways Im just glad we got some good music for once the heist makes the whole magna carter album look like trash

I respect that opinion but I honestly think the heist is mainstream bullshit it sounds like a rap version of maroon 5. I think MCHG is light years ahead of this mainstream pop nightmare but it is your opinion lol.
