    Somebody seriously needs to break it to Phonte that he's not a good singer. Just cuz you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD. At least throw us a bone and slide in a rap verse every once in a while!

    He's a good singer.. not great though and honestly might be my favorite emcee of all time.
    The first Foreign Exchange album is what I want more of, that was honestly an amazing album. But all the singing is just.. I dont know, not sure what audience he's catering to when there's so many other singers out there who do the same thing but much better.
    On top of that, a lot of Nicolay's beats are just begging to be rapped on

    He's not the best singer in the world, but that's not what I go to Foreign Exchange for, I go to them for great music made on a consistent basis. They make better R&B than most people in the R&B genre.

    And stop trying to put artists in a box.
