  • Eh... this song is a club track. The video was flashy but she wasn't moving around much. She either needed to jump around more or have other people in the video with her.

    Out of the club or a dance scene, this song doesn't work, especially not the lyrics. But that beat drop is crazy.

      What's wrong with the lyrics? It's not the deepest song M.I.A's written, but it's not mindless. In fact, the whole thing's mocking the vapidity and inanity in pop culture. Hence, the stuff at the end. The second verse sounds like things that have plagued her personal life in the last few years, though. The "I tried to stay pure/ can’t take it anymore" lines are interesting.
