Busta Rhymes & Q-Tip Announce “The Abstract & The Dragon” Mixtape

blame it on Meka November 21, 2013

With their collaboration “Thank You” being one of my favorite songs, Bus and Tip will attempt to break the stereotype of heavily-anticipated team-up projects that never come out on December 12th with The Abstract & The Dragon. While no tracklist, production credits or anything else of relative importance have been announced aside from this lovely cover art that you see, the word that these two who’ve worked together for the last two decades or so will finally drops something should be enough to get you excited.

Horrible font choice for the title on the cover. Also, they totally just ripped that dragon from the cover artwork of Dragon-age the game.

Nitpicks aside, this should be interesting.

  • Meh.

Not to mention an image of Rorschach from the Watchmen poster.

    Still, this should be good.

  • who cares

Yea, the cover is ass, but I’m interested in hearing the mixtape. Haven’t been too fond of Busta’s recent work, but hopefully Q-Tip can help that.

    • Tino

      Exactly my thoughts.

      whats wrong with the cover???smh

      • who cares

Is that a serious question? Look at it. It’s a cluttered, chaotic mess that uses licensed images that have nothing to do with each other–look up “Dragon Age 2” and “Rorschach Watchmen.” Then there’s the font used for the title, which doesn’t blend well with the aforementioned images.

Actually I made that comment before reading the rest of the comments which pointed to the video game which I then Googled…..and YES this cover could have been much much better and better thought out….the quality is professional….its just the creativity isnt there AT ALL!!

  • Konrad Ziemlewski

If this tape is remotely successful watch for a lawsuit from EA

  • marty mcfly

Thats DOPE. It might sound like Dillagence 2 or something.

  • Luke Foord

The exact artwork from Dragon Age 2 haha

  • shake

If “Thank You” is any indication on how the tape will sound. We’re in for a treat.

  • DatN-word

not expecting anything good from this. Not compared to their 90’s shit(when they were both at their peak).
