T.I. Says Trinidad James Should Not Speak on Behalf of Atlanta

blame it on JES7 December 14, 2013

In a sit-down with Young Jack Thriller, T.I. touched on the topic of Trinidad James’ recent remarks regarding “ATL running New York”.

Making it clear that he means no disrespect, Tip had this to say:

Trindad is authorized to speak on Trinidad. This is not a derogatory statement towards Trinidad. But he can’t speak for me. And since I am a part of Atlanta, I don’t think it’s adequate that he speaks for the entire population of Atlanta. With all due respect, I don’t think he’s come that far and walked that walk enough, yet, to where that will be accepted without ridicule.

What do the DopeHouse residents think? You agree with him or not?

  • Yongjefferson

Agree Trinidad is a one hit wonder

    • AmIDickRidingyet

how are you able to agree with something that was not said or implied? is it your super hating powers?

      • Yongjefferson

I was agreeing to the question stated in the paragraph above, is it your super hating powers to express your disbeliefs on my opinion?

        • AmIDickRidingyet

The paragraph left much to be said with the tone siding more towards Trinidad James’ potential than his failure. You agreed with a statement that opposed that tone.
All I did was call you out on making an irrelevant opinion.

    • Nuance

Trinidad James has a hit song?

  • biff tannen

    • alwalker

  • bryant lawrence

Well spoken for a brother from the dirty

  • Deez_2

If you DON’T like this dude, its questionable… and i’m NOT talking about his music, i’m talking about the way he presents himself, articulates and verbalizes his points in a strong and clear manner! Although he speaks from a street perspective, what he says travels beyond that because he’s speaking as NOT a street dude or a rapper but as a MAN, as one of US! And that what IS REAL!

    • krow132

real talk. he always represents himself in a way where you have no choice but to respect him and everything he says.

      • Arrie Mental Woodard

we always have a choice but your point did not fall on deaf ears.

  • krow132

and hes 100% right. Trinidad has not done even close enough to speak on behalf of Atlanta hip hop. This is not T.I. or Jeezy, or Big Boi, Andre its fucking Trinidad James. just shut up nigga
