Yesterday, Uncle Arnold hit me with an email suggesting I check out the latest full-length offering from Richmond, VA rapper Michael Millions. Actually, to be truthful, all he said was “it’ll speak for itself” and that was it. No artist name, no title, nothing… just a link. Having some time to kill, I went with it and proceeded to download. Fast forward three hours and I’ve given the record a couple solid spins and Uncle A’s lone statement is spot on. Ghost of $20 Bills is dope.
Michael Millions has been featured on the site before, but only as a guest artist on Nickelus F and Audra the Rapper tracks. Sadly, we slept on his solo material. It’s unfortunate to say the least; especially if any of his older material is as ill as Ghost of $20 Bills.
Either way, we’re here now and Mr. Millions is definitely on my radar.
