Earlier today DJ Paul announced that Da Mafia 6ix, which consists of Gangsta Boo, Lord Infamous (R.I.P.), Crunchy Black, Koopsta Knicca and himself, would be going on tour. Currently marked for 50 dates, the ‘Triple 6ix Sinners’ tour will kick star in Memphis (of course) on February 28th, run through Detroit, New York, Alabama, Denver, Las Vegas and countless other cities, before ending April 26th in Salt Lake City.

Promising the tour is unlike any “average rap show,” which will have the crew performing all Three 6 Mafia hits (despite Juicy J and Project Pat’s absence), Paul had the following to say about the upcoming tour.

This tour is not going to be like your average rap show. It ain’t gonna be just a bunch of crazy mothafuckas on stage waving towels in the air. It’s gonna be a show. It’s going to be like a performance, like a Las Vegas-style show, almost like a play. It’s going to be a real theatrical show. It’s going to be something real cool for the fans. We’re going to be doing something real different. We’re going to be performing all the hits, the new, the old. It’s going to be a must-see. – DJ Paul [hhdx]

DJ Paul also took some time out to speak on Lord Infamous’ recent passing

That’s just the hard part because we never did this before. It would be great if [Lord Infamous] could be a part of it, but he is part of it because this group wouldn’t be together if it wasn’t for him. He put the group back together and he left us. I guess he just figured his job was done. Whatever the purpose of that was, I guess we’ll find out. We might already be finding out because people love the mixtape. It’s going to be hard not having him there.
