As many of you know, Hot 97’s Cipha Sounds is a part time comedian, playing host duties for “The Hip Hop Improv Show – Take It Personal” at UCB Theater East every Friday night. Cipha was also great friends with Big Pun and has lots of great and hilarious stories about the legendary Bronx emcee (who passed away fourteen years ago on Feb. 7th).
During their latest show, Ja Rule & N.O.R.E. stopped by to share their favorite stories about Pun, including the time when he stuck a .45 in Cipha’s chest for refusing a drink or the time Pun & Fat Joe got Ja Rule involved in a high speed chase with NYPD.
