Nas Brings Out Fashawn at SXSW

As we said earlier with the Boldy James post, Nas also brought out Fashawn during the Mass Appeal showcase in Austin for SXSW. Until now there was a bunch of shitty iPhone clips, but thanks to MA we've got some quality footage of the moment. Check out the Fresno native debuting the Exile-produced "Fuck the World" in front of the sold-out crowd.

The Ecology, coming soon!

    Weak crowd. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

This is looking to be the year of long delayed albums, fash, Xv, mickey factz, asher, hopefully they all happen. I don't know what's delayed the Ecology so much but labels have straight ruined careers with these delays. I'm still excited for an Xv album but it's hard for an artist to keep a fan base when they're only releasing mixtapes and presumably saving the best for their album. All of them have had some dope mixtapes tho, I can only imagine the frustration of the artist. Anybody know why Ecology hasn't come out tho?

I think he is taking his time to make sure the music is right but he seems to be gearing up to drop it soon. I can't wait The Ecology is gonna be classic!

Yeah i been rocking with Fashawn since way back in like 07 or 08 when he did that song over a Talib Kweli sample. Way back then he was already getting the Nas comparisons. I was for sure he was gonna blow up by now. He needs to do more features be seen more.I lost hope in all those other rappers.

      • Sticky

I've still got faith in all those artists dropping something great even charles Hamilton as long as we're talking about careers that have lost their steam

  • Pizza Steve

Yea man, people these days too cool to enjoy themselves and support. That crowd was mad wack. Still that was a monumental moment for Fashawn, props to him.

  • disqus_pyrGXaSTDx

lol i bet they took that part of the crowd with their hands going up and down from a different artist and edited it in

  • Chris Brown

now that's a good look for hip hop

  • Youdontknowus?

Getting your performance down is so crucial to getting people to rock with you when they've never heard of you.

  • DatN-word

    not feeling the beat.

  • Stian Nicolaysen

Hahaha, WEAKEST crowd ever. When Murs & Fashawn was in Europe, you should have seen how it was poppin.
