Don't like it, only Kendrick's part.

  • TheRealPaperKut

Weird song for a Spiderman movie.

    • Mez D

I can def see the Kendrick's part with spiderman like getting back up or swinging in the sky to a villain lol

  • AmIDickRidingyet

I love when a rapper can sound like Kendrick in the beginning without putting somebody else down. cool song

  • Prince Akeem

    this song makes no sense.

  • SpeakingHarshTruth

This new Meek Mill-inspired shouting version of Kendrick sounds terrible.

Stop shouting on the fucking track, we can hear you nigga.

    • McGlock

      stfu

    • BoRed

"Meek Mill-inspired"... smh. Shit is laughable. It's his natural progression (and not new). But change always comes with hate, so I'm not surprised by this comment. And your name makes this comment even worse..

      • SleepyTheGreat

It does have that "Meek Mill" feel to his delivery. Don't be a stan all your life.

        • Ya Boy Brook #OnePieceSqaud

Eminem screams as much as both of them combined

        • http://Goldpit.net/ Bergil St. Juste

To be honest, emcees have been yelling on tracks for years. so it's not "Meek Mill-inspired" because it wasn't originated by meek Mill. It's more of a vocal technique to express emotion and passion. At least that's how I see it.

      stfu!

It sounded like Alicia Keys didn't really need Kendrick on this track.

They probably just added him because he's draws a large fan base, but his verse sounded somewhat replaceable and although strong in the beginning, just sounded like noise towards the end when it clashed with the beat.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great emcee and I'd say the best new school one, just not a good look on this track imo.

That thing he was doing at 0:28 literally made me laugh, probably not the desired reaction...

      Alicia's part at 2:56 was a better-fitting rap verse.

      i blame Dre

  • http://www.about.me/KNZO KNZO

    i'm disappoint.

  • http://thatmorbidshit.tumblr.com/ FuckYouPayMe

Kendrick brought it but this song wack. The song progression sounds like some disco-type shit.

    • Jay Daniels

That's all u can say, sounds like some disco-type shit? Bruh expand your musical knowledge please before you comment.

      • http://thatmorbidshit.tumblr.com/ FuckYouPayMe

The song progression harks back to music's refound infatuation with Italo-disco, thanks to Daft Punk's last release, "Random Access Memories"; which was also influenced by Italo-disco.

I could've said some music journalist bullshit like that but I opted not to.

        Because I'm not a pompous dicchead - e.g., you.

        • Jay Daniels

Alright, good to know you actually understand the genre pharrell has been tackling lately and you're not just dissing disco music for the sake of it being something your parents would listen to.

  • who cares

From a lyrical standpoint I can see why this would be used for the Spider-Man soundtrack, but other than that nothing really seems to work here. Just sounds like a collection of random pieces that don't necessarily fit together. I might give it a few listens, but meh.

  • Jay Daniels

    Grown shit

  • Jay Daniels

But lord, please don't let Eminem force you to go Recovery on us, Kendrick. A lot of yelling lately.

  • Bil AL

wack song only kendrick dickriders will be listening to this

  • marty mcfly

That wasn't Kendrick, that was Eminem screaming and yelling again LOL. Why is Kendrick even on this song? I know its Alicia Keys but sometimes a rap verse right out the gate thats scream over some rock shit just to break down into some soft melody, is just musically wack to begin with. Kendrick should have said NO.

    • Jay Daniels

I feel how you feel. I liked how kendrick could go hard on a beat like
MAAD CITY without sounding like he samuel l jackson in a wifebeater
      screaming at the neighbours son.

      • marty mcfly

yeah but I didnt say I like it.

  • StudentOfTheGame

its a song. you guys dont gotta listen to it. obviously not hes best verse. yall just tryna find a way to say kendrick isnt good.

  • I Want the Real Hip Hop

As soon as i saw alicia keys name i knew it was going to be wack but then when i actually Listen to it i know for a fact its wack!
