Meet Vanessa Elisha, CVIRO & GXNXVS

Although these recent late nights haven’t done much good for my health, they’ve proven to be beneficial for the site and excellent for my personal playlists. Not only have I been around for both of Drake’s insomnia-driven releases (“Draft Day” and “Days In The East“), I was also introduced to synth pop duo Goldbloc and their undeniably hypnotizing Black Gold EP.

Tonight though, it’s all about Australia’s GXNXVS, Vanessa Elisha and CVIRO.

I first came across the loosely-based trio on Soundcloud when Haan808 and J-Louis’ “Waves” found its way into the Recommended section. Always up for something new, I press play and was instantly hooked on the airy production and seductive vocals provided by Ms. Elisha.

A few mouse clicks later, I found myself deep in a collection of great vibes that included Vanessa’s debut EP, CVIRO’s Elevator EP and a remix EP from the producer of both projects, GXNXVS. And while I’d like to sit here and break down each release, it’s time to turn in. All three are included below and the rest of the hunt is up to y’all. I mean, isn’t that part of the fun in discovering new music?
