Raekwon & Jay Electronica to Headline 2014 Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival

Brooklyn Bodega is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival this year, and last night it was announced that Raekwon and Jay Electronica would be headlining.

According to Executive Director Wes Jackson, locking down Electronica wasn’t as difficult as he’d expected; the real surprise, he said in a quick conversation following the announcement, was that Electronica refused to be part of the festival if he was the headliner over Raekwon, preferring to perform before the Shaolin chef as a show of respect. On top of The Chef and the mystery man, Joey Bada$$ and the Pro Era crew are set to take the stage as well.
