Yesterday, 50 Cent made an appearance on Hot 97's morning show and had some choice words to offer about Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and the whole G-Unit situation. On top of calling them Troy Ave's hype men, Fif also compared them to spoiled milk ("Some people, they’re like milk. They have an expiration date and no matter what you do, they’ll spoil after a while.").

Yayo caught the worst of the attack as Curtis continued...

"I’ve done a lot for him to the point that being personable with people they’ll feel like that homeboy code, guy code type of energy. They’ll be like, ‘You know what? You got it so you should give it to me,’ versus what makes sense. If you don’t sustain your value in the marketplace, I got to pay you the market rate.”

After hearing the interview himself, Tony Yayo took to Twitter to offer his two cents. The update was instantly taken down, but nothing dies on the internet...

You have a few screws loose if you really think Banks and Yayo are responsible for Fif's success. No shots at Banks obviously, but c'mon.

    • Starks

Can't tell if you're dillusional or trolling.

  • who cares

I didn't watch the interview yesterday so I wasn't aware of 50's comments, but jesus christ. What the hell happened to the Unit? I swear, once Game left the entire foundation of the group fucking collapsed. It's a damn shame.

I don't know the whole story behind this situation. Theirs 3 sides to every story... But 50 put all of them on, he shouldn't have to babysit grown men their entire lives or for the length of their career...
In my opinion... He put millions in all of their pockets.

  • Freshsup

This is some low level shit, even for 50 standards.

  • Eternalist

It's funny how Banks has grown stronger over the years, releasing dope project after dope project, while 50 is busy dropping singles that sound trapped in '06. Just food for thought.

  • iAmRafy

I was locked up at the same time Yayo was locked in when we were in Shock camp in Lakeview correctional back in 2002-2003, Don't like his music, but he's a loyal dude. 50 is in the wrong and seems like he reverting back to his anything for the limelight ways.

    • TruthSerum

I was in jail too, and I only wish somebody would have given me a Bentley and a house the day I walked out.... 50 don't owe that leech nothing, out of all of them, Yayo was the most worthless artist wise and 50 carried him for a decade, everything he owns in this world comes from 50's handouts.....I ain't even a fan of any of these cats but logic is logic

  • gorge jung

50 made 140 million last year. He dont give 2 shits about fools making less money than him.And he runs his mouth whenever hes got an album coming out. Typical bullshit.

    • sineng

his estimated net worth is 140mill. he didnt make all that just last year. try reading my g. its still pretty impressive

  • thelonius

    rap game fucked up

  • IG: MORALESFJOSE

I PREDICT A REUNION ON SUMMERJAM.

  • fonzo517

they both have their points but id say to just quit talkin and make more music. if yayo wants to be up again he gotta build his buzz back up by putting out good projects

  • krow132

Loyalty can't be your scapegoat for everything..... You have to carry your weight at some point. Ya'll might think 50 is cold, but he is absolutely telling the truth. ESPECIALLY about Yayo.

50 said some shit in that hot 97 interview that was so real he said, (Im paraphrasing) "Put yourself in my shoes, where you have to buy your friends because the moment you are not paying them and they are not on payroll you don't hear from them anymore"

  • Bil AL

50 is a smart dude and this seems nothing more than a marketing scheme. Yayo is in his latest video clips.

  • Yatti

50 is right and wrong at the same time.

He's right because he put millions in all of these dudes pockets why should he have to hold their hands and pay them for doing nothing. They shouldve invested their money to continue to make money and don't need 50 to support them. He shouldn't be supporting someone for their entire life when he's the only one working his ass off, figuring out new business ventures.

He's wrong because Yayo took that gun charge for his ass while he's blowing up and he didn't have to. 50, then, couldve went to jail and lost his popularity while sitting in jail. I wouldve thought that with Yayo, he would've continue to look out for him. Look at JayZ and Bleek, JayZ said as long as he's alive Bleek will never broke (don't quote me on actual words).

Also, with JayZ and Bleek's comparison to 50 and Yayo, Bleek is trying to make his name and he don't (and I believe he does in a little sense but a man's ego doesn't let hisself to be that type of guy, imo.) want a handout. With that said, Yayo and Banks should have that mindset, too. They should want to make their own money and name. Take another example at Freeway, Young Gunz, & Oschino, they said in interviews that they invested their money on properties.

Yea.. I kind of wrote a lot of shit but I wanted to point why he is wrong and isn't when no one is looking at both pov.

  • S.P.

Now u know why 50 has no friends, some thoughts u just have to keep them to yourself even if u believe they are true and u feel like a g make them public. And i aint talking about Yayo[not only] but he did the same with Banks and before that with Buck and Game.

  • Jason Galindo

First Game, then Buck, now Banks and Yayo? It can't be all these dudes that are stepping on Curtis toes, the common denominator in all these situations is Fifty. Dudes lane as hell anyway. He really has no business in the industry anymore. Stick to pushin water.

  • Sirvere

50 been snakey like this since day one. Do your research from the days of the album that never came out "Power of the Dollar"
He's kown for burning bridges or pointlessly beefing w/ ppl for stupid shit throughout, Onyx, Wutang, Fat Joe, Cam'ron, the Lox, Diddy at one point, Jayz at one point, Kanye, conflicts w/ Banks, Yayo, beef w/ Young Buck, The Game, conflicts w/ Interscope, conflicts w/ his "bestfriend" Floyd Mayweather, conflicts w/ his son, conflicts w/ Jimmy Ivine and on and on and on. He's not wrong all the time but it is interesting how from his perspective when he's interviewed on all these ppl or situations it's "THEM" that are wrong and not him. He's never taken accountability.
