On April 17, Kentucky Wildcats freshman James Young declared for the 2014 NBA Draft. Wasting no time, JAY Z has signed him to Roc Nation Sports, making him the second male basketball player (behind Kevin Durant) on the growing roster.
Young signed with the University of Kentucky on October 11, 2012, and was one of the top-ranked basketball players in the class of 2013. He scored a career-high 26 points, including nailing five 3s in Kentucky’s win over UT Arlington and a team-high 20 points in the National Championship vs Connecticut. He played in both the 2013 Brand Jordan Classic and the 2013 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game.
I am proud to say that JAMES YOUNG is the newest member of the #ROCNationSports family!!! WELCOME… http://t.co/smIDaTMKZm
