An Unreleased Clip of Big L & Big Pun Freestyling in '98 Has Surfaced Online

If it weren't for the fatal shooting in February of '99, Big L would be celebrating 40 years on Earth today. In memory of the fallen lyricist, Complex has gotten their hands on two never-before-seen clips. Up first is a studio session with Ron Browz, while the second features footage of L kicking rhymes alongside Big Pun and Charlie Hustle in 1998.

    need the whole video

  • Probably the best video that I have seen this morning. It's more than the rhymes, it's the fact that they were in the same vicinity. Charlie Hustle brought it as well.

If Big L doesn't get shot, what happens to Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella and the Terror Squad? That's an alternate universe I want to visit.
