The composer behind some of the most inspirational introductions in Cash Money history was the guest speaker on Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Frannie Kelly’s Microphone Check podcast in Washington, DC. Alongside the random and normal music topics, Mannie also previewed an unheard collaboration between he and Mos Def, “Let’s Go” (head to the 36-minute mark), before treating guests to a 20-minute “bounce music” set featuring Southern fried takes on a variety of songs from Janet Jackson to 2Pac to a “remix” version of Juvenile’s “Back Dat Azz Up.” Check that all out below.
