Stream Dizzy Wright & Bishop Nehru’s ‘Brilliant Youth’ EP; Presented by LRG

blame it on Shake June 5, 2014

On top of featuring Dizzy Wright and Bishop Nehru in their Summer 2014 lookbook, L-R-G also joined them in the studio for a special three-track EP, produced entirely by LRG brand ambassador 9th Wonder with features from JAMLA’s own Big Remo and Add-2.

  • soulprint

    dam, this is great

  • ForeverWePush

Hadn’t heard about this til now. What a treat!

  • wat

I guess I was the only one who found it underwhelming.

    • Sticky

You clearly expected too much from a 3-track EP sponsored by a clothing company if you found this underwhelming.

      • wat

Not sure what that’s supposed to mean but I expected better 9th Wonder beats considering his catalog. Not saying they’re bad, they’re pretty damn average considering who made them. The verses were dope (mostly Nehru’s) but none of those stood out either.

        • Sticky

What I meant was projects hosted by third parties, no matter how dope all the contributors are, very rarely come together cohesively because at the end of the day most artists I’m guessing are more concerned with their own projects, it’s not like they all met up in the studio and worked on it until they thought it’d be just right.

          • wat

Well 9th Wonder is part of LRG officially so I wouldn’t exactly call it a third party but I feel you

  • Pizza Steve

These beats are pretty average. The rhymes are dope though.

    • LIV3

exactly what i thought and the mix is kinda iffy too

  • cam

    That Isolated track fire..

  • Bryan Brennick

Man I was hopin to hear at least one track with that 9th Wonder soulful sample type shit but dope none the less

  • Alex Peterson

Nice job, back to the DOOM collab.
