Yeezus closed out day one of the Wireless Festival 2014 in London tonight by getting booed. During his 20-minute speech, Kanye was booed by festival attendees who seemed to not be entertained by Mr. West's rant.

According to The Mirror, Kanye spent more time "preaching" than actually performing songs from his catalog during his set.

Watch Yeezy get booed down below and check out clips of him performing hits including: "Mercy," "Blood on the Leaves," "All of the Lights" and "Touch the Sky."

Kanye hasn't given a fuck from day one so I'm pretty sure he couldn't care less about getting booed. Rockstar shit.

    • @JoseRIo29

Rockstar shit? Naw thats rich nigga shit...gettin boo'd should effect any artist. I mean what the fuck u on stage for?

      • james

Oh bros! You're really cool on that rich nigga and rockstar tip kind of way.

      • fox

Only if their music is getting booed, which isn't the case with this one.

      • AlexFirth91

Jimi Hendrix Star Bangled Banner....booed then, glorified now. You'll see when Kanye gets old asf, niggas gonna be like wow I was there!

        • gorge jung

Jimi played. Kanye just whining like a lil hoe.

          • AlexFirth91

Did you not read my comment, I said niggas gonna backtrack their view in the future. He still performed. I'm pretty sure Michael Jackson didn't get shade for ranting when he did so people just need to not give a fuck, he's a musician not the fucking Prez.

    • Whybothertwice

What you mean, it's a known fact that he's extra sensitive when it comes to his music

      • Goldberg brian

But they are not booing because of his Music they are booing because of his ranting

        • Whybothertwice

They booing cause he's shit now, they don't care for his music nor his rants

          • Fuck All Y’all

But they didn't boo him while he was performing his songs, so looks like they just don't "care" for his rants. I spot a mini mosh pit at a Kanye show lol

    • http://thatmorbidshit.tumblr.com/ FuckYouPayMe

Hop off his scrotum, my God.
And I wanna know what the fuck he was rambling about. Sounded like sum' 'bout turkey and I started laughing at the sheer idea of Kanye stopping a performance just to talk about turkey.

      • fox

How is saying he doesn't give a fuck dickriding?? You niggas are stupid, I swear .

        • Whybothertwice

Obviously he cares if he's ranting

  • Big D Sterling
  • Mez D

lol that believe in yourself part at the beginning sounded like the satire sad part at the end of a south park episode.

And hes still making the fact that the nike and LV don't want to let him make whatever the fuck he wants for them a social issue. They already let him create alot of shit. On another note, Blood On The Leaves was probably one of the best songs I ever heard live

  • Kaspurrr

Why is he wearing that on his head?

    • Kaspurrr

      Nvm i found out why

  • biff tannen

Always said kanye's antics would only be tolerated as long as he kept pumping out good music. Sure enough, he dropped a dud and now he's getting booed.

    *Kanye shrug*

    • Cpr196

Or maybe he was doing this exact shit at the Yeezus concerts and all his fans loved it, and maybe all these festival dudes just wanna hear some damn music.

      • biff tannen

Of course HIS fans love it. I'm talking about the general public, ya dunce.

        • Cpr196

Well either way I doubt him releasing "bad" music has anything to do with people not letting him talk his shit, if anything the boos while he's talking mean "Kanye! stop talking, get back to your music!".

          • biff tannen

Really? That's what you think it means? Lol ooook

          • steve

Well that's quite obviously what it means since they're cheering during the music

          • DIesel

Jesus you're dumb. Straight up who's your favourite rapper alive?

          • biff tannen

            Not Kanye west.

            Get mad stanley

          • DIesel

Im groovy dude but now I know ur a bitch

          • biff tannen

That doesn't sound very "groovy" lol

  • JAY BRAVO

hahahahaha they booed but they sure ass hell were cheering and singing along to all the tracks lol fake ass fans.

    • steve

What's fake about going to a festival and wanting to hear an artist perform rather than talk shit for 20 minutes?

    • Leonard Washington

You can be a fan of the art and not the artist. Its super real actually. Big Pun for example. Dogshit wife beating piece of shit. Excellent rapper though.

  • It’s True Sorry

He only gets booed at the very beginning you can tell cause it's daylight thru out the show it looks pretty sucessful or as the great Yeezy would say "First they love you, then they hate you, then they love you again...

  • Leonard Washington

Kanye has to stfu already jeeeezus. I mean shit if a fucking clothing prodigy wanted a deal from Good Music you think Ye would just hand one over. You don't think he would say to himself "Man this isn't really this guys lane"? I really don't see any racial shit about anything Kanye says. It just sounds like the rants of a bitter egomaniac. Big whoop you got a bunch of industry cats who do the shit for a living telling you thanks but no thanks. YOUR fucking rich man! If you want to make clothing so fucking much start a fucking company you can do the shit all day. What is there no point being in fashion unless an established name brand sucks your dick first? I mean seriously if I walked into Ye's studio took the mic out of his hand and said let me do it better you don't think he would get to talking condescending too? Kanye is bitching cause established professionals don't wanna tell him "Heres a bunch of money we know you can do better." What does he expect? Your a fucking rapper. Can 50 Cent walk up on Christian Bale and be like "your doing it wrong give me that script. The fuck is wrong with this guy. Everything is about being black with him, shit. Meanwhile white people pay to listen to him scream into a fucking bondage mask. If that ain't love I don't know what is, shit. Nobodies good at everything motherfucker its fine you have music, a family, a shit ton of money, and a hot ass wife. Get yourself a clothing company build that shit on your own merit not someones brand and have a fucking coke and a smile dude.

    • Check

Pay me I'll edit it, and then you can have it published?

      • Leonard Washington

If only I could rap and produce music. Then I could make people pay to see me perform it.

    • Black Crime Rate

"It just sounds like the rants of a bitter egomaniac."

Agreed. Straight up he acts like a bitch ass nigga, which actually taints anything he touches, I have trouble even listening to dude's music.

    • Black Crime Rate

And he should quit being a pussy and use all that fucking money to launch his own fucking line. You can't get more bitch made than that, crying that the 'gatekeepers' won't let him in. Fuck that shit, man up and launch that shit on your own.

      • Quasi.OG

Like I said before. He's done that before and it didn't work out. All he's really asking for are investors, sort of like searching for a deal in the rap game.he said himself he doesn't just want to be. A celebrity designer but he wants to be on that top tier. It's simple. I wish he would go about it a better way but He was raised by women and this is how he lashes out, by putting on pussy fits. Maybe there really are gate keepers preventing him from joining that circle, maybe it is racial even tho I don't think he means because he's black, I think he just sees himself as trailblazer for black designers. Which IMO doesn't make sense to me. Why not link with other black designers to create your own ideas, or even those you are friends with but fuck it. The truth is we really don't know what goes on in those conversations but if you were in that situation and you felt like them not allowing you to create your own dreams was injustice, you would react. Whether rational or irrational. But fuck it I'm not a big Ye fan anyway

        • james

Everything you spelled out explains the rantings of a bitter egomaniac.

          • Quasi.OG

            Lol true

    • Moses Johnson

      That brotha preachin!

    • Quasi.OG

He had a brand before I think...pastelle but he lost a lot of money by fronting it himself. So I guess that's why he's trying to get into that circle. But it's not like ye just started designing. He's been doing this since he first got into the game. And prolly even back at art school. Idk b I understand both sides of the spectrum.

      • Leonard Washington

I'm a Ye fan by the way, just not his mania. Its understandable that its gonna be expensive. So I guess my problem is a lack of understanding on what it is he thinks these brands and designers can do to help him with that. The only thing I can come up with is that somehow he wants to make major product launches through their various brands which from their perspective could be a mixed bag. For one thing they DON'T need him or his creativity or his name to sell. LV, Nike, ect are all huge brands with plenty of fashion genius's. And why help potential future competition? So they seal him out because their threatened perhaps? But even still thats all money that ain't race, that ain't the marches, or any of that other insanity he is ranting on. I'm sure a 1000 rappers a day send him some tracks hoping that he'll let them feed off his brand and launch their material??? Does he turn 99% of them down cause of race?? Is he being a gatekeeper??? It just seems like he expects a lot from corporations because of who he is which brings me back to the same conclusion that regardless of his talent for fashion he is being an egomaniac assuming its racial if they don't help him. Corporations don't give a fuck about any of us. Why should Kanye assume they want to kiss his ass?? Why should big brands give him their license to steal (Sell things for stupid prices)? Welcome to the Layer Cake Kanye.

        • Quasi.OG

Agreed bruh and that's what I don't understand. He tries to assure use that her needs these people to elevate himself and his brand. But he doesn't elaborate on how they can. It comes off to me as if he just wants the name to be attached to his. I'm not sure why he expects so much of these corporations either. This isn't the music industry, your babe has no true merit in the field besides his shoe designs and work with A.P.C. I think he will get through eventually tho

    • Guest

      js

    • AlexFirth91

But he created Good Music...you would be mad too if you're slaved to a contract slyly set up by Jay Z and Def Jam. I'm sure he's tired of the BS himself so when no one wants to pay him attention, he uses the stage to address everything, music is one of his forms of expression. He's a musician mane. No reason to get mad, if you actually read the comments people say about him, behind closed doors executives probably talk mad shit and in person. As Black man, I for one can admit this nation at probably 42% are highly prejudice to minorities. He has mad stress so don't get super irritated when he's just expressing himself. Everyone is human.

      • Leonard Washington

Its not irritating that he expresses himself. its irritating that he does it at the expense of his music and the shows his fans paid to see. Its also about the facts not lining up. At the end of the day your right we don't know the extra behind the door details information but why is it easier to assume some racial conspiracy is going on?? Its just as easy for me to assume that an on record egomaniac heard "no" for the first time in 15 years and lost his damn mind. I understand that because he is a rapper he feels that his clothing line would be type cast without a major brand backing it, but again this isn't racial. This is all money and ego. He wants a major to launch him so he can charge up the ass for his products and they get the "respect" he thinks they deserve. If he launched it on his own it might be on clearance at Marshalls within a year (G-Unit, Shady, Roc ect) and he clearly fears that, rightfully so. But again nothing racial, its a matter of having to gain credibility in a field before market respect is given. Yeah he did stuff with clothing before but he ain't as a credible as LV or Armani and its killing him inside because he is himself and the best and should just be able to do things. Welcome to the real world Kanye you worked real hard at music to get through the door, it will be the same with fashion.

        • AlexFirth91

Lol. Yeah I feel you, I just think Kanye tries to actually get the best deal, which he should he's talented. But at the same time, they don't like the way he is projected in the media. Honestly its all political, and money talks. Dudes can pay someone to block talent at the end of the day...*Kanye Shrug*

    • Sticky

You can't really blame him for being an egomaniac. Obviously it isn't a good look for anyone and people would rather see celebrities be down to earth but he is one of the most successful music artists of all time but he's still known as an asshole because of his antics and that and the fact that overall, people don't respect hip-hop as much as other genres yet. It makes me sick as a fan when people say Ye isn't a musical genius and could never be one the level of the genius of old ass rock stars

      • Leonard Washington

I've never heard people with credibility and a diverse knowledge of music every deny Kanye's talent. Quite frankly there will always be haters and its no excuse to complain nonsensically and toss around the race card about it. He acts like a child why should anyone take him seriously??

  • Moses Johnson

Beginning of the End. WAKE UP MR. WEST! (Mr. West, Mr. West, Mr. West)

  • wretch

He gets booed cause he goes on a rant. Fans payed for a concert not for a lecture

  • Guest

Great show, I was front row. The crowd was mixed, hence the boo's most Kanye fans didn't really mind because i guess they're used to it but he does really talk too much these days. Here's Trav crowd surfing behind my head.

  • Dave

This is not the time and place for your rants. Just perform some good music and keep it moving. Ego will do that to you.

  • Justin Blantey

I would do the same. I paid to hear music. How much nagging can one man do? Dude's been "ranting" for over a year. Wouldn't anyone be burnt out by now? It's all an annoying act.

  • Justin Blantey

  • Jay Selva

I was really looking forward to seeing him. What a total let down! He really did peak when he did Glow in the Dark. Still the best time I've seen him. People might put up with his shit elsewhere but in the UK we don't abide with that nonsense.

  • DIesel

When are people gonna accept that Kanye West is bigger than music. Like it or not dude has an agenda to change the world. His delivery is far from perfect but if you can't see the bigger picture you're just another new slave. Put it together

    • Walnuts

      "change the world"?

All this dude cares about is himself. I like his music. I'm not a Ye hater by any means. college Dropout, Late Registration and Dark Twisted Fantasy are some of my favorite albums, period. I'll even grant him the occasional rant because he deserves a small amount of space to express his thoughts/emotions outside the music form. But dude is an asshole straight up. He doesn't kick knowledge anymore, he sounds like a whiny prepubescent child who didn't get his way. His speeches are rambling, egotistical affairs and his comparisons to the greatest and most innovative intellectuals in history are absurd. YOU MAKE MUSIC BRO. Great music. Stay in your lane. Compare yourself to Mick Jagger or Dylan and I'll abide.

And then he leaves your ass for a white girl.

      • DIesel

Bro you're expressing exactly what Kanye hates. He's proven many times that he can do more than music. When he started rapping they said stay in your lane and make dope beats. Bet those dudes feel stupid now don't they? Fuck all that self-hate shit and instead, encourage the growth. Who the fuck are you to tell Kanye West to stay in his lane, really.

        • Walnuts

If Kanye doesn't wanna hear his average, day 1 fans opinion of his performance and music then I don't care if I'm "expressing exactly what (he) hates". If his growth means casting aside ideals and values he once pushed in his lyrics and abandoning a "fuck the world for all the wrong you've done the PEOPLE" mentality in favor of a "fuck the world for all the wrong you've done ME" mentality, I will not encourage it. If he can't express all his rants and raves through the art medium he chose to represent himself (rap/music) then I don't want to hear it. He went from "George Bush doesn't care about black ppl" to "Nike and LV don't care about me". Outside of transitioning from a producer to a producer/rapper (and he always was a rapper, but he didn't get recognized for it until further on in his career than his recognition as a producer), and making one hot sneaker (of which the influence of his critical input is dubious considering it was made by one of the largest companies in the world), he HASNT been successful outside of his main lane, which is music. No where in my assessment did I level a "self-hate" criticism.

          • DIesel

Saying you make great music STAY IN YOUR LANE is kinda promoting the self-hate mentality. Trying to limit his potential beyond his goals as if he can't. The message to your post is, stop expressing yourself the way you desire and make music that I want to hear. You're being a dick

      • biff tannen

        Word.

Dude needs to take several seats and get back to making good music which is what people want and know him for.

If he wants to transcend the music scene he needs to put in the work not just bitch about how this and that industry is racist or oppressive. That shits been known, shut up and DO something about it.

      • Damien West

        you mean dehumanized?

        • fuh q

you were obviously paying more attention to these comments than the actual post I see.

watch all of the videos first before posting some idiotic comment like this, dumbass

  • fuh q

lmao he sound like uncle ruckus at about 3:25 on the youtube vid

  • Hood Oracle

I will admit "some" of Ye rants can be overbearing but these festivals are infested with molly poppin EDM lovin dickheads all they wanna do at these festivals is be sweaty jump up and down and do drugs not listen to good music...so them booing means nothing.

  • AlexFirth91

I'll keep it easy because it doesn't bother me. BLAME CANADA. Drake stepped out last minute and they threw in Kanye. Free money, and an open place to spit out against American media corporates while out the US.
