In a move that you couldn’t say you didn’t see coming, Trinidad Jame$—famous for his 2012 hit, “All Gold Everything“—took to his Twitter last night to report that he’d been dropped by his label Def Jam.
Jame$ signed to Def Jam back in 2012 after the catchy single caught wind and went viral. The Atlanta rapper released the 10 Pc. Mild mixtape last year with his Def Jam debut effort slated to release shortly after. Now, Jame$ tweeted that he’d be releasing the album for free and mentioned he got “no money” for the project.
