The fuckery levels were at an all time high this weekend when two rappers (and alleged “best friends”) were involved in a shooting during a low-budget video shoot in the Bronx. The reason? They got in an argument over who was the better rapper.
No seriously, you can’t make this up. Says Ali Abdul, an owner of a nearby deli:
“They were fighting over who’s the star. They were drunk. They spit at each other then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times.”
Five times. On camera. Because your friend (who is 37!!) said he rhymes better.
To make matters worse, it was all caught on camera. In the clip provided by police, the unidentified man (who is still at-large apparently) is shown calmly unloading rounds into the head, chest and each leg of his “friend” before ending the assault with a few pistol whips.
The victim is in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital.
