The collaborations between DJ Premier and Dilated Peoples have been well-documented and well-received (including their most recent work, “Good As Gone“). However, not everybody feels the same way. DJ Babu recently spoke on a time when, during a show, a rowdy fan sucker-punched the legendary producer on stage, and was subsequently beaten to within an inch of his life. DOn’t do drugs, kids.
