Vintage: K-Def’s Early 90’s Demo Tape

In the early 90s, producer K-Def put together a demo tape dubbed Tape One, with audio featured on the tape landing him a job working for Marley Marl. Tape One, which had recently been unearthed again, 20 years later, features some rare and previously unreleased instrumentals. According to Redefinition Records:

You can hear beats and programming that could compete with tracks by Pete Rock, Premier, Large Professor and others in K’s peer group.
